I disagree. I think a lot of people agree with me and met some already they just choose to keep it among each other or not be so public with it. My views are actually quite common. as the truth cannot be held back for too long or shielded by the ruling classes. Ive met a guy on facebook for instance part of a Facebook Warsaw expat group who like me was born and raised in Poland but grew up in Canada and came back and he is also pro Russia.

how is it mentally retarded? I think being pro USA and relying on presidents like trump to always support the pis propaganda and bullshit is much more retarded as in USA their presidents have four yr terms just like their hero trump who is now gone. instead they should just accept their geopolitical position in Europe and who they are as east Europeans rather than constantly whine and cry to Americans for help expecting trump to be in office forever to be their big brother who stands up for them when they start **** with the kid next door. You really want to be part of a no name country that is just a pawn of bigger players and relies on a single president named trump to be in office forever? a country that outs illegal gulags or CIA prisons on its territories to appease the powers that be?

being pro Russia

If you expect honest answers instead of flippant dismissive crap, you have to be more precise with what being "pro Russia" means to you.
I am pro Russia if liking their culture, appreciating their enormity of destruction during the war, and their technological achievements are being pro Russia. I also like the way they handled that snake NATO and Crimea. That was brilliant. I also like watching their May 9 parades. The one person I would like to talk to now is Putin and to the exclusion of everybody else. Finally, it was the USSR that ended the nightmare of WW2 for Poland. The rest I don't give a s**t about.

What I mean is Russia could and should be a great trade and business partner if anything else. also the cross cultural links should be establish sharing culture and heritage so the new generation can learn and not be diluted by politics of today or the past. I suggest at the start some sort of a work exchange program and a student exchange program than further relations with trade and economics can be established.

That is probably the most stupid and ignorant post you have ever made on PF......

Is that you, Strzelec? I couldn't say it any better. My point, exactly. If a Pole can stop thinking Auschwitz every time he sees a German, it's time to stop thinking Katyn, too.

More brain dead comments..... Russians and Germans have never been friends to the Poles.
Recent history has not really changed that much.
But I would trust the Germans much more than those Russian bastards now.

because youre a retard. you are simply an inept or spastic Pole. those retarded nationalists can learn a lot from the Germans tho and their forgiveness or forgetfulness of the past and moving on and not blaming others. just wemit that both Germany and Russia are superior or more world renown places than Poland bro. Or better places to be wt right now.

I want to thank you for teaching me a new word - spastic. I do admit I had to google it.
Back to Russia... A simple body count shows how peaceful both Russia and China are. They spend a fraction on their military, don't have bases everywhere, don't have 13 or so aircraft carriers, don't spread "democracy" and have better trains than we do here. Their cities are not at the mercy of thugs and arsonists. And, at least in China, they execute drug smugglers.

Since I can't see Putin, I would at least like to take a ride on that fast train from Moscow to St. Petersburg. My dilemma would be which passport to use - the US or Polish.

Certainly not. There is even a political party that would gladly welcome you as a member (and I don't mean Zmiana). :)

Germans have never been friends to the Poles

Historically this might be somewhat accurate, but in recent 30 years or so there aren't many countries in Europe (or anywhere else) as consistently friendly towards Poland as Germany have been. So maybe (just maybe) 75 years after the war, and 30 years of constant political and economic support from Germany, it would be a good time now to start changing the way we view our western neighbours. Here's hoping.

being pro Russia

Do you mean Russia as a country inhabited by mostly kind-hearted people with whom you might make friends easily and have fun together?

Or do you mean Russia as an aggressive state led by imperially-oriented Kremlin which recently invaded Ukraine and constantly tries to sow ferment and promote internal conflicts in Western countries, especially in Europe?

@pawian

A good point.
There is a massive difference between Russian people and the Russuan state.

Yes, and most Poles know about it.

sow ferment

????

promote internal conflicts in Western countries, especially in Europe?

Russia doesn't have to. All they need is popcorn and vodka.

Kremlin which recently invaded Ukraine

Which part?

No, not at all. Its in best interest of us Serbs that Poland and Russia have at least normal relations. It means more stability, security and prosperity within Slavic world. Great profit in it.

I dont really like Croats.

They are Serbs destroyed mentally by combined effects of alliance between Germanics and papacy. Robots. They got them during era of Turkish yoke onto Balkan.
