In general... this new American war has dropped my respect for the EU to ZERO.

Naw man, it isn't like the Maduro regime was openly courting the Chinks and Iranians while being himself an illegitimate narco kingpin president of a country aimed right down the socialist slop hole.

Monitor the situation closely"

This is typical language of politicians when they need to say something but don't want to do anything.

Look, despite being a Russian you seem at least slightly sensible, do you not really see that Maduro destroyed Venezuela? Its no wonder no one defended him.

This level of economical collapse is unheard of in countries at peace.

And to top of it all Venezuela sits on the biggest oil reserves in the world! Why are they pi$$ing about with drug and gun dealing?

It's nuts!

Meanwhile, China is deeply shocked...

Wow

While I do not support our thingy in Venezuela. It is hard to deny that there are potentially some major positives that come from it.

It's nuts!

You think this is about drugs and gun dealing?

It's not. It's about giving China and Russia, as well as others (Mexico, NK, Iran) something to think about. It puts economic pressure in China. Might even be a backhand to old Europe.

Is this though not Trump's overweening authoritarianism flexing it's muscle once again?
First Greenland, then Canada, tomorrow the world!

Disgusting. Vomit-inducing. Pathetic. Impotent.

Hey, easy...I own "vomit-inducing" here...

America will be America, and Russia will be Russia - but the EU will simply always:

That's why I will always see us as allies...If I were the US president, I would help Russia win in Donbass, or at least stay out of it.

A Continent of Pygmies. A land of Hobbits.

...and pussified eunuchs...always meaning the US when saying "us" or "we" when spending money and taking risks...

Memo to Pygmies: Don't forget to shove Article 5 up your ass before you go to bed tonight.

No, we will not go to a shooting war with Russia for you. So tell Putin that you love him and STFU...

But you are a stupid *******!

No, we will not go to a shooting war with Russia for you.

We don't need you loser....you think America is far more important than it actually is, Putin made the same mistake about Russia.

First Greenland, then Canada, tomorrow the world!

Lyzko, you're confusing reality with your usual leftist fantasy script. Trump didn't 'threaten Greenland or Canada, he put narco-terrorist regimes like Maduro's on notice. Colombia and Mexico were warned because cartel violence and drug trafficking are killing Americans by the tens of thousands. That's called enforcing national security, not "taking over the world." You sound like such a fool.

But sure, keep pretending this is a cartoon villain plot if it helps soothe your TDS."

This isn't 'Greenland today, the world tomorrow. It's narco-terrorists today, border security tomorrow - the rest is just your imagination running wild with TDS!

Fact remains, Trump NEVER consulted Congress.
Is that democracy??

Never consulted Congress? LoL Funny how that suddenly matters now. I don't remember Obama consulting Congress when he expanded drone strikes, bombed Libya, or turned half the Middle East into rubble. Back then you called it "leadership", such a hypocrite!

Same Constitution, same executive powers - the only difference is who's in the Oval Office. This isn't about democracy, it's about your TDS hypocrisy.

Fact remains, Trump NEVER consulted Congress.

...so that Dems can tell Maduro to hide better?

If they did, would you be in favor of a court-martial and executions?

BTW, Biden didn't consult with Congress before he launched a migrant attack on the US after he took office...

...so that Dems can tell Maduro to hide better?

Telling congressional Democrats in advance would be like tipping off Maduro himself - they leak everything. Operational secrecy matters, and this crowd has proven again and again they can't be trusted with it. Let them cry all they want.....

I hope the Narco state of Mexico are next. Trump needs to take out the cartels as a matter of national security.

No. It's geopolitics. It's showing the world that America is not the Afghansitan pullout USA, but the USA who has to capability of blowing up nuke sites with bunker busters and extracting an ensconced leader out of his country. It's sating, the US isn't feckless, it has the might, will, and capabilities to eff you up.

Such has a way of grabbing certain leaders' attention.

..If I were the US president

If I were U.S. president, I'd finish the job down there by helping free Cuba and bringing it into the fold as the 51st state. Millions of grateful, pro-freedom republican voters would be a nice counterbalance to the damage done by Biden's illegal open-border policies.

Mexico and Columbia had decades to stop the cartels and failed. That tells you everything you need to know about their efforts.

Mexico needs regime change as well. Its a narco- terrorist state which the government has very little control.

There is still hope for Columbia if they get their act together.

The Dems want to make Puerto Rico a state for the same exact reason,,votes!

The Cubans need help from an oppresive commie dictatorship. Puerto Rico needs help from itself, a floating garbage dump!

Unlike Venezuela, which isn't a narco-terrorist state. Just a socialist authoritarian hell hole. I don't think it's our job to turn those socialist authortarian hell holes inot non-socialist non-authoritarian non-hell holes.

Do you think Trump ordered this because Venezuela was a narco-terrorist state?

This one is going to rebound so badly on trumplecûntskin.

And of course, like everything they do, it hasn't been thought through.

If you think Venezuela's a gangster state now, just wait a couple of years and see the problems it will cause.

At least nowhere in Europe is having anything to do with this..

Do you think Trump ordered this because Venezuela was a narco-terrorist state?

No. But it was a good pretext, a show-and- tell, and exercise...A+ for planning and execution. My headline: Don't Fvck With the US...The world: Oh, fvck...

The real reason: China and Russia have been way too active serenading Maduro and his world's largest oil deposits.

Also, one moron who gave the canal in Panama was enough.

And of course, like everything they do, it hasn't been thought through.

...as opposed to Boris and his advice to send 2 million Ukrainians to their deaths and get nothing for it...

My advice to Brits: Please keep your thoughts to yourself. Nobody here wants to hear from you. We don't even want you to just sit and listen.

I disagree. This has been thought through. It has very little to do with what type of country Venezuela is or will be. This is 't about Maduro. It's about Xi and other leaders. It's about putting on the record that we aren't the America that ran out of Afghanistan like a bunch of b!tches, but a muscular and capable America.

Immoral-most probably. Effective-most probably.

Whether one likes what we did or not , it was impressive. It's the kind of stuff that grabs the attention of the people who walk through the world's halls of power.
