Should Polonia and expat Poles lose voting rights in Polish elections?

vast majority only visits Poland from time to time.
As I wrote previously- after years living abroad and with no clear intention of coming back to Poland one shouldn't vote. UK has a quite streightforward rules about that- you live more than 15 years abroad, you lose your voting rights (until you are living again in the UK). I'd say 10 years would be a better cut-off period.

instead of that i'd love to see Poles to be more interested in the politics of countries they have chosen to emigrate to.

/// crap it cut the quoted post of amiga500

Visiting Poland is not the same as living in Poland 24/7/365 and dealing with the consequences of your voting.
Immigrants should not be allowed to vote where they live, either. Most of them are hyphenated dual loyalists.

I hope Polonia gets more rights and brings more sanity to the policy of official Poland.

And thanks Polonia for all the money you sending to your brotherly and sisterly Serbians in that madhouse that is called Bosnia and Herzegovina! When freedom comes we will remember what Poles did for us.

It seems that Am Polonia will play a decisive role in the coming elections.

Now, when there is a war in Europe and just beyond the Polish border, how important is what is happening in Europe and the candidates' attitude to security issues for the Polish diaspora?

We asked about this, we conducted the last survey in 2020 in the fall, so the situation was a little different, because it was before the war in Ukraine broke out. We asked about NATO and about the attitude towards Putin and about the relationship between Trump and Putin, and for the majority of the Polish diaspora, the vast majority, because for about 75 percent, the role of America in NATO and supporting NATO is very important.

The majority of the Polish community, from what I remember, it was about 60 percent, expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that President Trump and Putin had such a close relationship. That's why it seems to me that these issues are important to a large part of this community.

This means that most of Am Polonia will vote for Kamala. Amasing!!!!

President Trump and Putin had such a close relationship.

Yup, avoiding a war while biden was taking millions in bribes from Russia.
This means that most of Am Polonia will vote for Kamala.

Quite the opposite knowing that biden encouraged the war by moving missiles to Russia's border.
They also know that if Kamoola is elected that she will start WW3.
She is a Marxist puppet for the globalists that want a One World Order. (Total Control)
Poland should be very concerned about that.
Trump also helped Poland beef up it's military and praised Poland for contributing their fair share to NATO.
Trump has stood behind Poland all the way
Kamoola couldn't even find Poland on the map.
Kamoola is a full blown Marxist and could give a rats patoot about Poland.
You better take a closer look at reality Pawian.

Nope, you don't pay attention, jon357.
Politically WW3 has already started.
The actual bombing of London has not started yet.
If she is elected, Europe will pay dearly.

Actually, although I would vote for Trump if I was American, He is a much worse threat to Europe than Harris.

Deflection and squirming.

No, setting you straight Mr. Twister
The trumpet crime family are an appalling bunch.

Compared to who, the bidens that received millions from China illegally ?
And remember "The Big Man" that got 10% of Hunters illegal ordeal from Ukraine's oil company.
jon, you are so lame with your cheap propaganda.
He is a much worse threat to Europe than Harris.

Why, because Trump said that he would dismantle NATO and let Europe fight their own war for a change ?

and let Europe fight their own war for a change ?

This is how these scumbags define "threat to Europe": the US giving Europe the middle finger and a "get lost".

Mr Honourable Prime Minister Reverend Donald Holy Tusk requested Polish consulates and embassy in the US to get ready for the possible influx of deportation cases. Some of Poles/Polesses are prolonging their stay in the US over the allowed limit.

I wonder if those illegals who might be deported still support Trump. And if their legal relatives or mates voted for Trump last year. Amasing if they did. :):):)

I wonder if those illegals who might be deported still support Trump. And if their legal relatives or mates voted for Trump last year.

Most of them traditionally come from regions in Poland where rightist PIS enjoys great support, aka Highlands.

Here is a comment by one of them:

.
- F****** Trump! The Poles gave him victory, and now he's coming for us like this? If they actually start catching Poles, then let this man be damned - Jasiek shouts into my phone. The 55-year-old man lives in the "sałta" [from the English south], i.e. the southern suburbs of Chicago. He is an illegal immigrant in the US. He came here in 1997 and since then has tried to legalize his stay many times. Each time without success, although he "spent an amount of money on lawyers who were supposed to help him with this, which would buy a brand new SUV."
- Don't give away my name, where exactly I'm staying or what I do - says Jasiek. - Then they'll have me served "on a plate". The immigration officers can read this text you're writing. They'll catch me, check my immigration status and yuck... to Poland. And I want to go back to the country, but not now. It would be good to work here for five more years. I've decided in my head that I'm going back to retire. I can still earn it.

Should Polonia and expat Poles lose voting rights in Polish elections?

Nobody who lives in Country A should be allowed to vote in Country B.
