IBRIS and Radio BZDET are in the same "unreliable source" category as the Kosher Gazette and Telewizja Nonsensowa (TVN). It's therefore none too surprisng that you choose to cite them.

I guess you prefer sources like TV Sram, the magazine W Siusiu or Biegunik Pisownik... as many Poles refer to TvTrwam W Sieci or Dziennik Polski....

No bigger haters can be found in Poland outside KOD, PO and Petru! They've had 8 years to perfect their "przemysł pogardy" (disdain and hate industry) and they wasted no time doing it.

Whether it's an historical commemoration, a solemn funeral for freedom-fighters, a teachers' protest or pro-abortion march, they are there ranting. chanting and spewing hatred at Poland's democratically elected pro-Polish government. The mangy curs will bark and yelp but the good-change caravan just moves along.

You have obviously never watched it. Not a single vulgaity or obscentiy can be heard there. Should a phoner say somerthing obscene, it gets beeped out.

It all depends on the definition of vulgarity and obscenity being used. I used to actually recommend it to younger people to see what the news in PRL times were like (just change 'church' for party and you're set.

--Work will soon get under way on the new Vistula Lagoon canal joining it to the Baltic. That will turn land-locked Elbląg into a honest-to-goodness seaport, create thousands of jobs and enable a local tourist and fishing industry to flourish.

--Following the smashing success of Family 500+, the govenrment's flagship Housing+ programme will soon get under way, First crack will be given to families with many children and other less well-to-do applicants. But now they've cut the channel, where are regime going to find the funds to maintain the channel, upgrade the port infrastructure, build rail facilities and drastically upgrade the road connection? There wouldn't be any money at all from the EU for a project that will destroy a Natura 2000 site, even if PIS weren't busy p!ssing off the EU.

Of course. The Gdansk and Gdynia ports also have the not full business. They have the competition. So it is not important for the third port!

The third port is already Swinjouscie. If Poland actually had the billion zloty to spend that this insane plan is estimated to cost (hint: it doesn't), that money could be far better spent bringing Swinjouscie up to Baltimax standard, given that Swinjouscie already has good road and rail links and is close to the large Berlin market. However, Swinjouscie doesn't vote PIS.

The KOD-style wreckers and other Hairy Bollocks can always be counted on for one thing: to take the anti-Polish side of any dispute. If there's a Franco-Polish helicopter row, PO will back the French side. If a Jewish-Polish conttroversy arises, they will naturally support the Jews. If the government launches a major programme, they will be sure to tear it to pieces through sheer spite, envy and resentful frusutration. When IPN open their files, they will defend those who persecuted the Polish nation duirng PRL. Who has such friends, needs no enemies!


One could add: if a disagreement emerges between Warsaw and Brussels, we all know which side the KOD-style wreckers will be on. In fact, through their snitchery they had probably masterminded and heated up the controversy in the first place!

It's strange, 'lonius, the last time I read the word 'wreckers' it was in PZPR propaganda about Solidarnosc. Is there a reason you're harking back to the language from then? Is it the current attempts to have a centrally planned economy? Is it the giving jobs by PIS based not at all on ability and instead solely on political reliability? Is it the wanting to have France and Germany as enemies? Is it the plans to build free housing and give it away based on political loyalty? Is it the politicizing of the civil service? Prime Minister Beata Szydło told a press conference that a major industrial deal with Mercedes-Benz is "moving full steam ahead". The deal meets the government's Morawiecki plan which envisages the injection of over a trillion złotys into the economy. She said the plan would rebuild the industrial sector, generate new major investments and create new jobs in Poland. Carmaker Daimler AG, parent of Mercedes Benz, announced they intend to invest around $550 million in the first phase of the development in southwestern Poland, and create several hundred new jobs. According to the company's plans, the construction will be completed in 2019. The plant will reach full operating capacity by 2020, producing several hundred thousand engines per year.
