The problem with PiS is that their opponents do not have to invent anything by themselves; all they have to do is to post verbatim quotes coming from loud mouths of PiS members.

Here is another motto of the week:

We have been unable to persuade more people to join us. Some people are happy with the mess, bliss - such swampy tranquility

- Witold Waszczykowski
Wiciu, you just earned 200 demerit points.

Then there is Adaś, who might or might not loose his job soon:

The PiS spokesman Adam Hofman, asked about the reasons for losing to PO, replied: - This aggressive finish of the PO campaign, this shameful spot that compared people to stadiums' bandits and lack of media reaction meant that many people have believed in black and boorish propaganda.

Oh, how unjust! These things shown on the spot did not happen at all during events sponsored by PiS?! Oh, but there was another monthly anniversary today, let me quote: "The winner is who wins the last! "," End of the election lies!"

Under Wawel Castle
Nearly 500 people came under Katyn cross today to celebrate the eighteenth monthly anniversary of Smolensk disaster. - I am glad that I did not win the seat in Senate because I could not find myself in such a parliament - said Zuzanna Kurtyka. Audience applaused her and shouted, "Klich is a disgrace!", "The rigged election!".

But wait, there is more from lovely Zuzanna:

- We need to approach our future in more substantive way. We need to think about what to do to prevent our country from being destroyed. Yesterday, the Civic Platform government was not elected by the nation, but by society. We're a nation! For the nation, the homeland has its value, and sovereignty is the supreme thing - she said.

Her speech was punctuated by thunderous applause. Kurtyka added that she was sorry for Andrzej Duda, who will sit on the parliamentary benches. - I could not find myself in that parliament. I could not find myself in the Senate together with Bogdan Klich. I could not find myself with members of parliament and senators who voted to extend umbrella of silence over the Smolensk disaster - she said. She added further that the main reason for the PiS defeat in the elections is the media. - We must have our own media! Without it we will not move ahead. Otherwise, we have no chances in today's world. The truth is that power comes with the media, and we just learned about it once again - she said.

I specifically like this gem about nation vs. society. Good 400 demerit points Zuziu!

Comments:

On Twitter, PO spokesman thanked football fans for contributing to PO`s victory.

Gumishu, who are you trying to scare? :):):) You should already know that I prefer illusionary stability with PO to real instability under PiS. ):):):)c PiS are unstable maniacs, don`t forget it.

Have you been in Poland for the last 6 to 4 years ? Reading programs of parties and listening to TV is not the same.

I am not trying to scare anyone - I just say what I believe is very likely to happen - I expect a lot of turmoil and pretty soon

Bol, bullseye! I wanted to talk about it but you were first.

Exactly, it is incredible: PiS are talking about shame? :):):):)

=gumishu]I just say what I believe is very likely to happen - I expect a lot of turmoil and pretty soon

Don`t be so hopeful. Poles are wiser than you and PiS think. :):):)

Poles voted in favor of the governing parties giving a proof of their political wisdom. The majority of Poles voted this way, because they want stability and PO and PSL joint government guarantees that . If I'm not mistaken it happened only in Poland that European voters , during the time of recession ,voted for the same party for the second time in a row , giving the ruling party the possibility to govern for the next 4 year term . This choice gives the possibility to carry out many reforms so much needed in our country . PIS is unable to do that since it is the party of right-wing radicals, who instead of making reforms would rather combat their political opponents and would not be able to keep Poland in a phase of solid economic development.

The sad thing is that there are posters here who seriously do believe that operatives from foreign intelligence agencies post here to blacken the image of Poland!

=delphiandomine]PiS aren't finished, but Kaczynski is.

Everybody knows that with Kaczynski at the helm, PiS will never gather enough support to rule. His negative image in the society is one of the highest in Poland, about 55%.

wiadomosci24.pl/artykul/sondaz_cbos_kaczynski_bardziej_wyrazisty_od_napieralskiego_213079.html

If I were Kaczyński, I would try to play such a trick - make a secret deal with his assistants, give up his chair to one of them, spend 3,4 years in seclusion, lead a private life, abstain from commenting politics etc. Simply, allow people to forget his manic obsessions. When deKaczynskinalised PiS wins next elections, he will come back as a leader again, taking the post of PM in the PiS` government.

Not bad, is it? :):):):)

It was posted by an independent identity.

Just in case......

being run by a bunch of foreign companies.

there is nothing wrong with foreign companies as long as they are not in a position of control.

Poles voted in favor of the governing parties giving a proof of their political wisdom

Yep, there was political wisdom in denying to women a right to vote.

What do you mean by that ?

he meant that you are stupid and bigoted - not that I share his views - but couldn't resist the urge for translation :P

you know what btw - over 50 per cent of eligible Poles never turned up for the vote this time - but hell when the money is short a great deal of them will wake up and eventually turn up - and all your prejudiced media-driven and created views of PiS won't matter because of the voice of the anger of the nation will prevail - and guess what - there will be no PO anymore - and you poor orphans will have to vote for Palikot (sure even Palikot is better than Kaczyński - because everyone's better than Kaczyński, I get the impression even Giertych is better than Kaczyński, talk about being able to comprehend newspapers - actually I think that Palikot is an archetype of a modern Pole - who doesn't vote for Palikot is by no means modern - if he/she is not modern she is not intelligent- if she/he isn't intelligent s/he must be badly educated and not from a major city - a stupid hillbilly simply - and sure must love mohair (I prefer cashmere actually :P)

He is simply not trusting of the media.

You read too much into it. The man is a coward, the bruising encounter between Tusk and Komorowski from previous encounters was very fresh in his memory, when it comes to debates the media is quite objective-only losers and cowards use that excuse.

Oh la la, gumishu, I have never seen you so embittered before. What is going on? :):):):):

what are you going to do if Poland ends up like Greece in near future tell me - and what is that can be done to avoid it here and now?

the rule of PO is based on lies, manipulations, scaremongering and feeding an inferiority complex in the Polish nation, the whole sections of society are disparaged by the government friendly media - this is all very wrong

You are sick with your absurd prejudice. I am really horrified that you can be so stupid as to consider such a person worse than other people.

It looks like you allow yourself to be carried away in the fashion of your manic hero, JKM! :):):)

why do you need to ridicule PiS - why can't you just accept that there is such a political movement?

They ridicule themselves quite adequately. And fortunately that political movement lost.
