lol! After all that happend are they are still fools who want to stand by the words they were saying about northstreem and German policy?

Fools there is your chance to amend your ways and repend. If not you are nothing but sumbacks.
It is clear now that it was a geopolitical project not economical one. That Germany are respissible for the issues in the energy market right after Russia. Rush to play a victim.

I could not agree more.

Germany was stupid and naive beyond belief!

There are elements of that.

The next thing to do is to blow the overland pipelines to prevent r*SSian gas reaching rogue export markets.

According to the latest findings of the German weekly "Der Spiegel" , divers who rented a 15-meter Bavaria C50 yacht from one of the ports on Rügen may have contributed to blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines in September 2022 .

"Der Spiegel" traced the route of Andromeda across the Baltic Sea. According to the newspaper's investigation, the yacht left its home port in Rostock on September 6, then called at the German island of Rügen, and then went to the Danish island of Christiansø, i.e. to the site of the explosion. It was supposed to be there on September 26 , when the explosion took place.

The weekly emphasizes that the Andromeda crew used forged Bulgarian passports, but the German investigation did not reveal what nationality the attackers might have been or whether any government was responsible for carrying out the attack.

The newspaper report, however, pointed to the testimony of the boatswain of the port of Rügen, who allegedly said that the group of people who had rented the yacht "were dressed like normal sailors". The manager also said there were several men and a woman who were carrying bags of groceries as they went on board and spoke a language that sounded " like Polish or Czech" to him.

Amasing!!! Poles in collusion with Czechs blew up the pipe!

Ukrainian language sounds like Polish and Czech mix.

Yes, good analogy. Both Czech and Ukrainian, unlike Polish or Russian, lack the "h" sound in their language, therefore UkCz.."holub", not Pol. "golab", Uk/Cz.. "holodni" vs. Pol. "glodny" etc.

Sorry, I meant "lack the "G"-sound!!

and spoke a language that sounded " like Polish or Czech" to him.

I don't know about that...
When I was in a restaurant in Germany with Polish female friends we were mistaken for Italians by Germans who were sitting next to us even though we were talking in Polish... Germans don't seem to have a clue about languages o_O Those "sailors" probably might as well be speaking RuSSian or Inuit lol

divers who rented a 15-meter Bavaria C50 yacht

Interesting... That story reminded me of those mysterious "Spanish" divers in Poland...

who paid for the pipes? Did they divide the cost?
pawian  221 | 25160

Is it important who paid? No. Besides, you can find this info in English Wiki.

What matters is that three lines out of 4 are knocked out and Russia won`t supply gas to Europe. Isn`t it amasing???

The latest rumour is that the Polish gov contributed to damaging the pipes.

I can assure you it is not true. Those PiS azholes aren`t able to carry out such an incredible exploit. They are losers who flunk all serious jobs.

The Nord Stream is underway and I have heard NOTHING so far which will endanger the build...get used to it!

a quote from Bratwurst Boy from 2008

You and your likes want to torpedo ANY cooperation between Russia and Germany - this time it's the Nord Stream, tomorrow?

We could take the money Russia and Germany save since they don't have to pay Poland anymore for using their territory for the over-land-pipeline!

Well..I think the argument "Ukraine" will help the Nord Stream alot....:)

I suppose the transit countries would really miss those "transit fees"...

Oh well, no big loss at all for the rest of Europe.

oh, Bratwurst Boy had a colleague

a Polish voice in the discussion - remember it's 2009

moronic actions that make Europe dependent on Russia are not responsible and should be opposed with all tools available or the consequences will be severe to the entire Europe Germany included.

Various slanderers accuse Ukrainian intelligence of blowing up the pipes.
Of course it is wrong. Godzilla did it! Is it Ukrainian`s fault that the monster supports Ukraine???

What a wise and brave politician is our Mr Honourable Prime Minister Reverend Donald Holy Tusk. He scolded Germans for their silly investigation into Nord Stream blow up.

Amasing facts are surfacing about German Polish clash over Nord Stream destruction.

German prosecutors issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian diving instructor, suspecting him of attacks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines in 2022. . The man was reportedly living in Pruszków recently. However, Polish prosecutors have reported that the wanted Volodymyr Z. already left the territory of our country.

Now, The Wall Street Journal reveals that the prosecutor's office did not execute the arrest warrant. First, it found an error in the German application (Germany denied its existence), and then informed that the Internal Security Agency would handle the case.

The ambiguous attitude of the investigators was supposed to have worried the German authorities, who decided to intervene in this matter in Poland "at the very top," The occasion for this was supposed to be Polish-German government consultations at the beginning of July. The WSJ source claims that during these talks the Germans asked their Polish colleagues to ensure the execution of the arrest warrant. The Poles allegedly refused.

Moreover, a senior Polish official is said to have told a German colleague in a private conversation that any suspect who may have played a role in the destruction of the oil pipelines deserved a medal, not arrest.

hahahahahaha Are those Scholz Germans such idiots, really???

Yes, in Scholz Germany, it might. Scholz Germans have already declared they are going to reduce the Ukrainian aid fund. By half or more. Dupki dzwonce.

N2 was incredibly damaging to Germany.... the whole idea was for russia to be able to supply Germany in an uninterrupted fashion while it tried to rebuild its soviet crapitude.

I thought that was incredibly obvious (from the russian point of view.... convincing Germany that it wouldn't be affected by russian military aggression... and if Schroeder and Merkel had their way it might have worked.....).

Scholz has already crossed out all financial aid for Ukraine (apart from that already granted). The Germans are clearly pissed off.

The American daily adds that at the end of last week, the Polish prosecutor's office sent a letter to Germany in which it informed that the wanted man had left our country. In connection with this, it was supposed to ask for clarification as to whether German investigators were still interested in searching his apartment in Pruszków.

According to a person familiar with the matter, the Germans perceived the letter as "an additional insult to the insult already inflicted."

The Germans are clearly pissed off

Germany's economy went from being the engine of all European growth, to one of the worst performing ones in a period of just three years. Now even the UK has an economy in better shape than Germany's. How low the mighty have fallen...

There are a multitude of reasons for this. Among them: a botched post-pandemic recovery, falling exports to China, stupid insistence on avoiding increased debt, structural demographic problems, and underinvestment in infrastructure.

But there is also another very important reason, and that is the loss of access to cheap hydrocarbons from Russia. One example is BASF's chemical complex in Ludwigshafen - which is the largest in the world. It employs 40,000 people directly, but also allows millions of others downstream in the supply chain to produce other goods. After losing access to Russian gas, Ludwigshafen is now on a slow road to collapse. Then there are fertilizer producers. Metallurgists. Even those companies that manufacture inputs used in the renewable energy industry - like Siemens - are suffering from hugely increased energy costs.

What Zelensky and Co did is take bread off the table of the German worker, and then showed up the next day asking for handouts. Because the Germans are big blubbering vaginas - they still gave money to these racketeers.

Poland is also obviously involved. 1000%.

Tusk telling people to shut up, and others saying that those divers should get medals - is a big mistake.

The explosion of the pipeline's most direct result has been handing the European energy market over to the United States, from which they have already earned hundreds of billions of dollars (and people had the balls to accuse us of blowing up our own pipeline for three years!!!!).

It did not stop Russia's invasion. It did not curtail the Kremlin's ability to find money for the war. It has not made Russia more willing to negotiate - but rather the opposite. It played no role in motivating Ukraine's allies to donate funds and weapons.

All it did was p!ss off Germany - Ukraine's largest and most generous ally after the United States. Great job Zelensky!

No.

r*SSia did it by making war in Europe.
Bobko  27 | 2087

No.

I explained with simple examples how blowing up the pipeline has done zero good for Ukraine.

It did a great deal of good, however, for their primary patron - the United States.

Perhaps this was the nature of the quid pro quo. You help our energy supermajors conquer Europe, and we'll aid you in your war with Russia?

If Zelensky did not blow the pipeline up, the war would be in the exact same place it is at the present moment. It has not changed a single thing, except making Russia and Germany massively poorer, along with a slew of smaller Central European countries.

I don't understand how making Russia and Germany poorer helps Ukraine? Russia will find money for the war in Ukraine - no matter what. Even if it means cutting spending on social programs, and all other expenses.

I suspect we won't have to wait long to see if blowing up the pipeline was a prudent thing to do.

If you think the oil sales to Germany will resume this decade, you are labouring under a misconceptiion.

And Germany isn't 'massively poorer'. In any case, stupidity should always be punished and buying all their hydrocarbons from a pariah state was an act of sheer stupidity.

I predict that in 20 years` time there will be a monument erected on the Polish seaside commemorating this heroic deed. :):):)

Bollox. It played an outstanding role as a symbolic act of breaking economic ties between Europe and Russia.
Glory to heroes who carried it out!
PS. I have just read that the Chinese have reduced their import of Russian fuels and if that continues, Russia is cooked economically faster than predicted. Good!!!

And Germany isn't 'massively poorer'

Wealth is a relative thing.

Last year, Germany's economy was the only one out of the G7 to contract.

In the second quarter of this year it shrank again. The forecast for the entire year is growth of 0.2%. Compare that to US growth of 6% - which is simply in a different league... a different galaxy!

Germany's GDP per person, declined from 89% of the US level in 2017, to 80% in 2023.

Meanwhile, the UK - which was the "Sick Man of Europe" just recently - is having an unexpected growth spurt under Starmer's Labour which places it near the top of Europe in performance. Who could ever believe this, before the war started?

For twenty years Germany seemed absolutely unbeatable. It was bailing out entire countries, seemingly without much strain. It exported more than China, for long periods. Now its clout is rapidly diminishing, and nobody bothers to dispute this.

This has been a huge reversal, and there's no way around it.
