as long as Putin doesn't want to rebuild the USSR I

What if Putin does B.B. ?
Ukraine's intelligence chief outlines Putin's next targets: "Russia sees itself as an empire."
Kyrylo Budanov cited the Warsaw Pact countries, including the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria.
"They're the bare minimum for creating an empire."
Russia is finished this way or another?

Putin is a very patient man.

What if Putin does B.B. ?

....then history will repeat itself!

The eventual targets are preparing, starting to rearm....and it won't end well for Putin and his Russians.

Putin is a very patient man

Exactly!! He had been preparing for the current war for 8 years.
However, as patient as he can be, the Grim Ripper might not follow in Putin`s footsteps. ):):):)

Kyrylo Budanov cited

Of course Budanov would say that. What else is he gonna say?

Zelensky goes around saying the same thing.

Zelensky even tried to push this bullsh*t on Trump, during their sit down in the Oval Office last week. That's when Trump exploded and started yelling at Zelensky that "he has no standing to tell the United States that they will regret not stopping Russia."

This is the main instrument Zelensky, Budanov, and the rest have. "After he is done with us, he will come for you."

Thankfully Trump was not impressed with this argument.

They're the bare minimum for creating an empire

There are 300 different nationalities living in Russia. There are Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Shamanists. It's the largest country in the world.

I think we are "empire" enough without adding 5 million Hungarians.

The Russian government has issued a direct warning against the possible deployment of European forces in Ukraine, making it clear that it will not allow an intervention that, in its words, would represent an open NATO participation in the conflict.
Looks like Turkey or China may have to send in 200,000 military peace keeper troops into Ukraine then.

If the US and Ukraine sing that deal it will be in one form or another, American troops kept the business afloat.
That is why I don't think Zelenky has Ukraine's interest at heart, trying to resist that deal. I think it is about personal gain or loss.

I think it is about personal gain or loss.

The two greatest downfalls to a man is his pecker and his pride.
I saw it on Z's face when Trump told him that he was out of cards to play, you can't win his.
Ukraine has run out of men to fight this war.
You can lead a man to knowledge, but you can't make him think. 🥴

Trump told him that he was out of cards to play, you can't win his.

He was ready to sign the mineral rights deal but the night before he met with congressional democrats and sabotaged the entire thing.

Biden is gone and the new Sheriff isnt having any of it!

On Feb. 28, 2025, before a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Democrats who convinced him to reject a deal that would allow the U.S. to exploit minerals in Ukraine in exchange for U.S. support in Ukraine's war with Russia.

Leftists want the war to continue forever.

Leftists want the war to continue forever.

...because leftists won't ever admit they were wrong.

In this case, they blew 200B and not only didn't get anything in return but caused death and destruction.

As Trump said: Whatever Dems touch turns to shlt.

looking at us in shock and thinking "those crazy Russians"

Well, sometimes one is tempted to think that. For example: you had one of the most pro-Russian governments in power in Poland (PiS), with many former communist party apparatchiks, with pro-Russian sympathies, conservative, Orban-friendly (Hungary is a run-away destination for those of them who went a little bit too far during the PiS rule) etc. etc.

Sure, they panicked a bit when you invaded Ukraine (any Polish government would), but still - it was the most pro-Russian government in Poland that you could ever hope for. And what did Russia do? They used their secret services to undermine that government - promote the "J....ć PiS" (f*ck PiS) slogan eventually helped with their electoral defeat. What was the result? Pro-European Tusk, staunchly anti-Russian, becoming the Polish PM. Where's any logic in that? "Those crazy Russians" indeed.

EDIT: Was it because Duda told Putin not to sh*t himself? I don't think Putin is that petty--in politics there's no place for pettiness and he's a skillful politician. Doesn't make sense.

All the name calling continues here while Ukraine will meet with the US next week in Saudi Arabia. Z knows he fvcked up, and now he will do a deal. All the tough talk from the EU is pretty pointless because it will take years for the EU to put together armies and munitions for another war. France's nukes wont be protecting Europe they will continue to protect France only. The UK nukes wont protect Europe either so that reason and they only have a few hundred on submarines.

The US and Russia will come to some agreements and everyone else will fall in line or get told to FO. Poland is playing this game pretty well. Duda is keeping Poland in Trumps good graces, and Tusk has said its crazy for Europe to ask the US to defend Europe. Common sense with facts, not feelings.

So the answer is simple PolAm - we will build more nukes and other advanced weapons.

You don't want the US "taxpayer" (in reality meth heads from West Virginia) to pay for Europe's defence. Fine we get it.

But then you are also skeptical of our response even though it was agreed yesterday, enthusiastically supported by the market and the population and the capability (scientists, factories) already exists, You think we are just going to sit around making cheese and chocolate, drinking wine ? These are grown up countries run by adults.

US "taxpayer" (in reality meth heads from West Virginia)

Meth heads don't pay taxes ya dumb ass.
Fine we get it.

If you get it then why haven't your grown-up countries got off their dead asses and done something about it then ?
Let me ask what you do to make a living that allows you to be logged on here every day for hours on end posting smack about the U.S.A. ?

We haven't done anything about it because since WW2 the US has assured us we are covered so long as we behave.

Of course you can ask and I will say that I made my living some years ago but still work because I enjoy it and I'm my own boss.

And I am certainly not here hours on end - a bit at breakfast and a bit in the evening. I'm on umowa dzielo and Novi is on umowa pracy, 8 hours a night.
