You don`t believe in anything. Except one thing - that they will further allow you to use the Internet in evening hours like now. But one day they won`t and Crow will have a good chance to use Karma on you. hahaha

The anti-government militants and jihadists who toppled President Bashar Assad's government in Syria have guaranteed the security of Russia's military bases and diplomatic outposts in the country, a Kremlin source has reportedly told TASS news agency.

Also:

American-made M1 Abrams tanks were "not useful" to the Ukrainian military, despite being billed as a potential "game changer" in the conflict with Russia, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan has admitted.

An M1 Abrams tank costs more than $450 per mile in fuel and repairs, according to a 1991 Government Accountability Office (GAO) report adjusted for inflation.

The GAO report stated that the average M1 Abrams needs its track replaced after as little as 710 miles, with engines typically suffering catastrophic "blowouts" after 350 hours of operation.

Now the question...Why the fvck does the US need tanks? Against Canada or Mexico?

With the Russians leaving Syria, and taking all of their equipment and people with them, Vlad will be solely focussed on Ukraine now. I wonder how much cash Assad had to give Vlad for safety? A billion I am guessing. Plenty of cash for Russia to spend or for Vlad to pocket.

What I find hilarious in all of this is Biden saying they are working to make things stable in the area. Like 900 US soldiers are going to make the country stable? And why arent the US bases in Syria considered illegal? Since Assad never gave the US permission, will the new government do this when their foundation comes from ISIS?

Now that Ukraine has admitted to over 40K killed and over 370K seriously wounded soldiers, how much longer can they hold out? Trump is going to cut them off, and then what? Europe has already said they cannot replace the US in arms production or funding. So why isnt Z picking up the phone and starting a conversation?

Pick the phone up and start a conversation with a murderer (who is now sheltering a vile war criminal murderer)

You think the Syrians will let those planes stay there ? The ones which bombed their own civilians? But there is a good source - Tass, almost as relianle as North Nigeria Today

How much longer can Ukraine hold out ? Against these drunk losers ? A long time - they already proved that

How's it going for the North Korea elite troops BTW ? They are being starved by their new employers

Vlad will be solely focussed on Ukraine now

You assume he'll behave in a rational manner.... what about his behavior has been rational in the last 5 or so years?

You also assume he will have free reign to do what he wants.... not so clear.

I have no idea how the loss of Syria will affect russia's invasion of Ukraine. No one does. russia is a dictatorship and it's very hard to predict their behavior because they're not bound by rules.

I have no idea how the loss of Syria

U.S.A, Russia, France and Germany are troubled by internal conflicts and their own. So the involvement in Middle East will be minimal this and next month for sure.

Turkey and Israel will probably use this opportunity to show muscles in the region, making them more relevant on grounds of security and self-defence until the situation stabilises.

If Syrians (governmental, ex-governmental and opposition) aren't able to be unified ASAP with support of both Russia and U.S.A. It can lead to a situation of conflict in Syria for next 20 years at least with Turkish and Israeli occupying forces.

This will give opportunity to U.K and China to become a stabilising force in Syria at the cost of French, American and Russian influence

Naturally it can lead to Ukraine bolstering relations with U.K and China cause of this

@mafketis
Putin has been rather predictable and rational during the war. Every US or NATO escalation is met with a Russian escalation. Anyone wonder why we are not seeing tens or hundred of reports about Ukraine striking in Russia with its weapons from the US and UK? Its because Russia sent the warning with a hypersonic missle capable of carrying multiple nuclear warheads and it was effective not just physically, but it got everyone to slow down and think Vlad may just say fvck it one morning and send a real one over. That was a message to slow TF down or Russia is going to go much further.

Vlad is going to continue to push the pace for the next five weeks. He will gain as much ground as he can and wait for Trump to make his move. The new government in Syria has a lot to gain by getting cozy with Trump, and so do US oil companies.

So in this case NATO and the US have escalated by what ? Invading Syria ?

Will gain as much ground as he can ? That will be just a few one horse villages, will be just a few sqm.

@Bratwurst Boy

I hope they all return now.....

Many of them probably won't. Especially those who have lived in Germany close or longer than a decade by now. Certainly those who have children. Never mind their own personal circumstances, would you want to take your child with you to live in Syria?

Things may have been differently if Assad had fallen without Russian intervention in 2015, but now it is what it is.

Many of them probably won't. Especially those who have lived in Germany close or longer than a decade by now

Then they are no refugees but immigrants....and should be treated accordingly!

PS: If we wait till other countries achieve Germany's standards there will never be true refugees anymore (who will go back eventually), but only ever immigrants (on a false refugee card). And that doesn't work longterm!

should be treated accordingly!

Germany can't deport people (it theoretically can but almost never does and then only tiny numbers at tremendous expense).

Fix the laws.
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 11927
9 Dec 2024   #379
Fix the laws.

...if it would be so easy....because it's often not the actual law which needs to be fixed, because they are already "okay", but the adherence to them. If the laws would be strictly followed, nearly no asylum-applicant would make it through our borders successfully, because Germany is surrounded by friendly neighbours! (Not to mention a paid and supported endless stay even in the case of lawful rejection)

@cms neuf
NATO and the US have escalted by doing all the targeting and programing of long range missle strikes from within NATO territory. Ukraine cant launch long range missles on their own. Have you not read the reports all over the news? NATO is in fact doing the targeting and launching. Thats direct involvement. Every meter Russia takes will eventually be theres to keep. You views on this war are simply not realistic.

@Bratwurst Boy
Follow the lead of Sweden. They are deporting large numbers. France, Germany, Portugal and Spain soon to follow.

Follow the lead of Sweden.

You know, Sweden was for decades the wokest, refugee- and islam-friendly country in Europe, a place Germany now seems to have taken over....till they broke and got "trumped" and turned around nearly 180°. I fear Germany has and will go the same way, meaning the AfD will sooner or later come into government and change things greatly.

I wish the current powers in parties and its media would think about that future choice and start working towards a change themselves, a change they still can at least control.

Have you been to Marseille? Thats one scary fvcked up city. Munich was the worst in Germany for me when it came to migrants. Sleeping on the streets, whole families. The hotel I stayed at was surrounded by kabab stands and it really was not a good atmosphere. Stockholm is simply a disaster. I dont understand how leaders can look at things and say lets keep going.

Back to this pathetic whining ? North Nigeria uses Chinese, Iranian and Korean weapons to attack Ukrainian civilians

And then they complain when Ukraine gets missiles they can fire at soldiers inside North Nigeria ?
PolAmKrakow  2 | 1040
9 Dec 2024   #385
@cms neuf
But that is the issue. Ukraine cant and isnt firing missiles. US and UK forces are doing all the targeting and firing codes. That is the start of a world war.
Novichok  5 | 8536

weapons to attack Ukrainian civilians

So how many civilians did they kill since Feb 2022?

It must be at least 200,000...Right? That's how many civilians died in two months during that idiotic stunt aka the Warsaw Uprising.

Is every Polak a moron?

North Nigeria has been targeting and firing missiles in Syria - exactly the same principle. Has that started a world war ?

Why were they so keen to keep this baby murdering thief in power BTW ?

US and UK forces are doing all the targeting and firing codes

PAK has been repeating this, literally for weeks - hehehe.

It's not like he hallucinated this fact... It's been reported everywhere, and then ultimately confirmed by the German Chancellor himself (when questioned about this by an MP in the Bundestag, if I'm not mistaken).

It's not clear to me, what is exactly so hard for people to wrap their mind around?

Perhaps it would be easier if we use some handy analogy, or metaphor, to describe what is happening? Let me try...

Let's imagine a conflict where one side (Ukraine) is represented by an archer. This archer has the bow (missile) and the skill to use it, but their visibility is limited by terrain (lack of intelligence or data). A spotter (Western countries) stands behind the archer, and uses his binoculars (intelligence and satellite systems) to identify targets on the battlefield. This spotter not only points out the targets (already huge), but then he also calculates the trajectory and further guides the archer's aim.

Even though the spotter doesn't fire the arrow himself, his role in the process is absolutely crucial to the shot's success. If the target was hit, it's gonna be very hard to argue that the spotter wasn't an active participant in the act.

In exactly the same way, providing targeting data for long-range missiles could and should be viewed as crossing over from mere support and into operational involvement.

Does this make it easier to understand?

Perhaps it's still too complicated... Let's try it this way:

You are having a water balloon fight with your friends from school. At some point your friends begin hiding from you behind a tall wooden fence. Because you can't see them, your water balloons (cruise missiles) are constantly missing and falling harmlessly on the sidewalk. Then a tall 8-th grader comes, with a ladder, and starts helping you by telling you where your friends are hiding and where exactly to throw the balloons. The kids on the other side of the fence begin complaining that the big boy is unfairly helping you. Being a retard, you respond by telling them that since the balloon is yours, and it was your mom who filled it up from the tap, you did this all by yourself. After this display of logic, the other kids conclude you are a dangerous retard, and avoid playing with you in the future.

But we are not talking about kids or schools. The only schools in this story are the ones being blown up by Iranian drones and Korean missiles.

We are talking about Ukraine defending itself against colonial aggression and the decent people of the world helping them.
