They were defeated by two much larger powers who entered into a pact of friendship to commit genocide and theft.

Poles didn't stop fighting and hundreds of thousands were engaged alongside allied forces (including the Soviets) until 1945.

That does not answer my question. The question is:

Why did the Polish army stop fighting in 1939?

Why did the Polish army stop fighting in 1939?

Because they were ordered to do so.

Now it's time to exit nuclear NPT, get about 400 warheads with modern means of delivery

Kania, are you sure that Poland can afford this toys? Learn how 239Pu gamma activity rise with time and how long is Tritium semi-decay period... And try to figure out how soon all that 400 nukes had to be rebuilt with freshly reprocessed nuclear materials. And which parts of Poland you will assign as a nuclear test site and new nuclear reprocessing facility?

The army didn`t stop. Polesses and Poles fought throughout the whole war.

You mean which parts of Ru$$ia Poland will use for test sights.

Johhny, I like your attitude of a true Polish patriot. Keep up good work! :):):):)

Lovely. They keep doing that.

Because they were ordered to do so.

Why was the Polish Army ordered to stop fighting in Poland?

Kania, are you sure that Poland can afford these toys?

I have a better question, Velund...

Are you sure you are not insane, Kania?

And which parts of Poland you will assign as a nuclear test site and new nuclear reprocessing facility?

Nevada or New Mexico.

Why was the Polish Army ordered to stop fighting in Poland?

Actually, no such an order was ever issued in 1939. That is why Polesses and Poles fought from 1 Sep 1939 to 8 May 1945.

Quoting:

How fast did Poland surrender in WW2?
The Polish government fled the country that same day. After heavy shelling and bombing, Warsaw officially surrendered to the Germans on September 28, 1939.

Why did Warsaw "officially surrender" to the Germans?

How fast did Poland surrender in WW2?

Almost as fast as France in 1940.... :):):)

Recall Warsaw Rising and their pleas for ammo.

I don't recall Warsaw Insurgents blackmailing anyone about it though.

Kania, are you sure that Poland can afford this toys?

We can eat grass but we have to afford them. It's a question of our survival.

which parts of Poland you will assign as a nuclear test site and new nuclear reprocessing facility?

We can buy some tropical islands from France or somebody else for testing; and a site for nuclear reprocessing will be found (preferably somewhere near Pawian's vegetable garden ;)). Besides, if tiny Israel can have their NW, then Poland can find both the money and space for them.

Correct coz they weren`t able to blackmail anyone. While wise Ukrainians can and do it!! Isn`t it wonderful that they successfully learnt this wisdom from Poles and Polesses who controlled their lands for centuries???

Thanks! I will radiate with light then which will spare me the cost of lighting at night time. hahahaha

Quite.

No need for Poland to develop them from scratch since it's not 1960. The government could easily buy them in from an established manufacturer.

Wow! Who sells such stuff? I bet Pakistan does. But isn`t it monitored internationally??

Instead of celebrating the thought of saving some pennies just think that your radioactive flower-beds will be a small price to pay for Poland's safety - this should be your main motivation. :)

The government could easily buy them in from an established manufacturer.

That's another possibility, of course. Thank you for your valuable suggestion, Jon.

Major arms manufacturers. The U.K. buys them in (though we're developing our own again as we used to) and they're manufactured in France as well. There are a couple of US manufacturers too. All private companies.

All for Poland, nothing for myself. This is a motto from a tombstone of a Polish patriot in my cult film which has never ceased to impress and inspire me.

You don't need nukes.

Your problem is the same as ours - the ruling mob already occupying Washington, DC. Yours - London.

Germany and WW2 were nothing compared to your domestic "democratically elected" criminals who decided to surrender the UK to smelly foreign scum without a single shot.

France. A very decent country. I've always said so. Douce France, cher pays de mes vacances, and all that.

Time to go shopping.

France should test nukes under the city with the highest Muslim population. The problem would be those virgins...Where would you find so many?

Douce France, cher pays de mes vacances

Mes vacances aussi.

They'd probably sell them though I'd be wary of secret kill switches.

They do make very effective missiles though.

Not where your daughter works.

Those girls make more money than you ever did. In fact, many go to college. Some are Ph. D.s...
And they are tested for AIDs since they use the same poll. So you wouldn't qualify...

We can eat grass but we have to afford them.

But even if you all agree to switch to North Korea mode for a quarter of century, there is another problem... I mean neutrality. You will need a leader that somewhat comparable to Putin. Maybe Pilsudski was _somewhat_ comparable, but he is long dead. With generations of compradors in power, nukes will only become a reason to rise the price when masters will need Ukraine 2.0 to kill itself against Russia and inflict as many damage as possible.

We can eat grass

We can't actually do that.
