Russia will not dare to attack Poland...

Russia has no desire or need to attack Poland today or the Russians would have done it before Poland went NATO.

Today, Poland is a US vassal state and, thus, untouchable. Because of the US umbrella, Poland can stop spending money like a drunk sailor.

Without the US, Poland would be a bump on the road to Russia. U is different and it shows with the ridiculously low U civilian casualties Russia is trying to avoid at great cost to itself.

How do you know it was pathetic if you didn't read it ?

Really, if London can't defend itself against Russia, why do you think Warsaw can ?

@Miloslaw
Respectfully, Poland doesn't have near enough military to protect itself against anyone yet. With 200K active military, 20K deployed to NATO and 350K in reserves, that barely exceeds the number of Russians in Ukraine and on the Russian/Ukraine border. Russia could easily mobilize another million in a matter of weeks. PiS did well signing contracts, but next to nothing has been delivered.

The EU needs a united and huge military to deter any further agression. Only then will Russia and everyone else take the EU seriously on defense.

Time to count your blessings from the U.S.of A. and show some respect.

Why would Russia attack Poland? To exterminate Poles? To make them slaves? To grab Polish oil fields? Because Russia doesn't have enough land and cannot feed its people?

Russia invaded Ukraine when the Western meddlers finally crossed the red line in 2014 and turned a Russia-friendly neighbor into a hostile one. We would do the same if Iraq started some WMDs crap that would threaten the very existence of the US. The Iraqi ICBMs are amazingly fast and accurate.

and turned a Russia-friendly neighbor into a hostile one

Nah, Russia turned friendly neighbor into a hostile one by constant aggression. The best Ukraine can do is do everything to join NATO and the EU and benefit from the security of the former and the relative prosperity of the latter. Should have done that with us when the window of opportunity in the early 2000s was still open, but Ukrainian society wasn't there yet. I guess 10 years of Russian aggression was the element that finally convinced the majority of the population to the western direction.

When did Russia fire the first shot?

I'd guess when Ruskies invaded Crimea?
There were no US army units in Poland and no NATO installations before 2014 Russian invasion of Crimea and later Donbass. Only then we asked the Americans to send troops here (which they reluctantly did, it was Obama's term after all).

If not for Russian chimpouts of 2014 and 2022 there would not be a powerful US and allied presense on Russian borders. Finland and Sweden would still be neutral and German defence expenditures around 1% of GDP, slowly disarming its military.

Russia brought the current change on itself.

Countries that did not use the short window of opportunity to join NATO have either been invaded and partitioned by Russia (Moldavia, Georgia, Ukraine) or vassalized (Belarus). So far NATO is the only and best way to keep Russia away from us.

Unlike conquering Ukraine beating Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia would be a cakewalk, even for the corrupt and incompetent Russian army, these countries barely have any military forces. And yet Putin never tried to do it, despite numerous threats. Precisely because these countries are in NATO and attacking them meant picking a fight with the whole Alliance.

Russia didn't "invade" Crimea. Crimea seceded from Ukraine and asked Russia to join the Russian Federation. Russian Duma agreed and now Crimea is part of Russia. Eat sh*it.

Iraq didn't ask Poland to invade Iraq but Poland did it anyway. How nice...I guess to spread democracy and freedom to be gay...

The US invaded Afghanistan because it couldn't tell the difference between the good guys like me and the scum like the 9/11 19 azholes who came to "study" how to fly big planes - one way, no landings.

And yet Putin never tried to do it,

...before they went NATO.

Democratic U was free to organize it without guns.

Is this really your new cope? If hypocrisy had an encyclopedia article, it would be illustrated with your photo.

Russia recognized Ukraine in its current borders (with Crimea) not once, but twice, in 1991 and 1997.

Once a country recognizes a territory of another state this act cannot be arbitrarily revoked - unless a country doing so wants to become a laughing stock and be considered as rogue state by all neighbours.

Seethe all you want - nobody, including their alleged ally, China, recognizes Russian Crimea and other cope annexations.

I know your answer, it's their fault, after all they were nazis, were about to invade Russia, and anyway what about Iraq

I don't "seeth". I celebrate when people are free to vote in a referendum. I wish our ruling mod would ask us if we want our borders open to the invading hordes.

and anyway what about Iraq

You are a true genius. If the US can invade and stay in Syria and Iraq, Russia can invade Ukraine and stay there as long as it wants. I like simple...

Memo to morons: Normal people like guys with guns. We call them cops. Russian soldiers in Crimea were cops. Their job was to prevent violence and terrorism, not to inflict violence and terror on the voters.

Do you, morons, know how I know that? I know that because no shots were fired, nobody died, and no Western press has reported that people were threatened to vote one way or the other.

Further, Russia invited "international observers". They didn't come so that later Polish morons could claim the referendum was coerced and illegitimate. Nice trick...

. We call them cops. Russian soldiers in Crimea were cops.

Even if that was the case, a referendum organized under the military occupation of another country cannot be legitimate. Voting officials walking from door to door to collect votes were accompanied by armed soldiers of the occupation forces. And people who organized protests against occupation regime started disappearing without trace. Take a wild guess if it people could vote independently under such conditions.

Moreover the questions asked during the "referendum" did not allow the population to vote for keeping the status quo ante bellum.

So why are you writing about immigrants pooring from the South into the US? After all, you let them in, and American people visited for that, and are voting for that in democratic elections. So what is your problem? You are a sore loser and warmongering anti-0semoctric where according to your own logic are you not?

So what is your problem?

I have two.

I love the US and I am sad to see it in a suicide mode.
I like Russia and am sad to see so many Russians die only because the US, the country I love, loves exporting wars at my expense.

See my problem now?

I am glad.

@Alien
I sleep like a baby. I am pis*ed off, not bitter. My prostate is history along with cancer 9 years ago.
That leaves "loneliness". With my dear wife of 54 years, two daughters, and four granddaughters it's extremely hard to be lonely - even if you want to be.

Political loneliness is another matter. No matter which group I join, I am among morons, leftists, Dem Jews, and open borders excusers. I hate my social life.

In fact Poland puts almost ALL of the NATO members to shame by spending double or more.

Not a problem.
Russia could come right down the Atlantic and sneak into Germany's back door without bothering Poland a bit.
Other countries are tired of paying for your protection B.B.
