Having said that, medicines that have been prescribed should be free in retirement. Would that be OK for you Gregy?

100% brilliant idea.rich ppl could pay some but those with basic pension should be excluded from paying.

So what was the problem with paying rent on a communal flat?

he had 800 a month..rent was 1000 a month.add to it gas,electric food and medicine .ect
doesnt change the fact, that old man died ,starving in front of major office.all he wanted was to talk.EVIL -not thinkable in civilized world.

and its not about it..even if it was old man fault to be poor and legally kikim hem out was all fine and dandy

question: why Adamowicz then go and collect charity money for poor people in front of cameras?hmmmm
he had perfect opportunity to help poor here

I'm pretty sure it was the court system

Yes, the article says that the guy notoriously did not pay rent and the subsequent court ruling was that he should be evicted from his flat.

800 a month

I honestly thought that the absolute minimum pension is 1,200 zl a month.......that's the fault of central government obviously....
I agree with your comments about fairness and public decency - there is little of that to be found anywhere in a post communist society.

You are so hell bend to blame Owsiak and Adamowicz, the victim, that it'snot even funny

Adamowicz was collecting money to help poor in front of cameras

I think the collection was aimed at raising money for purchasing specialized medical equipment for paediatric wards (and neo-natal care specifically) in Polish hospitals. The data says that the state has provided money for roughly half of such equipment in such wards over the years, the other half has been delivered thanks to the actions of Jerzy Owsiak and his WOŚP.

Both nations are hypochondriacs

That's true. So many pharmacies in PL and so many of them have long queues. This whole attitude must put a huge strain on health provision. Organisations that supplement it, whether the ITV Telethon in the UK or WOŚP in Poland are very valuable here.

The responsibility for funding a nation's healthcare is a communal thing. In Poland, which has one of the lowest levels of community action and volunteering in Europe (try explaining the expression community-minded to Warsaw yuppies!), WOŚP is an absolute pearl, and deservedly Poland's best known and best loved charity.

All the defaulters are placed in two areas - Nowy Port and Orunia.

Similar in Warsaw. Most towns round the world with a significant level of social housing have a 'Dodge City'. In Warsaw it's a housing estate in Praga, just south of the railway line.

You are so hell bend to blame Owsiak and Adamowicz, the victim, that it'snot even funny

Quite. He's trying to blame two people who are entirely innocent.

i though it is obvious to anyone with brain who is to blame..
ppl who spit on polish law, blatantly omitted any basic requirements and regulations in regards of public safety thus allowed maniac to enter scene
some say PIS is responsible for Paranoid schizophrenia, but i dont believe they are.they are mostly genetic related illness.
am i wrong?

i though it is obvious to anyone with brain who is to blame..

Indeed. The murderer and anyone who influenced him. Nobody else is to blame, even though the Polish security guards were as useless as one might have expected them to be.

some say PIS is responsible for Paranoid schizophrenia

Some? Who?

doctors released rapports from hes medical history... boy this is strange
its sound like some mind control case(not that i believe some conspiracy here) but read:

wiadomosci.wp.pl/zabojca-adamowicza-slyszal-glosy-wydawalo-mu-sie-ze-jest-aktorem-6339112422119553a

"He heard voices that commented on his behavior, gave him instructions, he had the impression that the officers were manipulating the time, assigning him tasks to perform, for which he was promised a reward, he was to be a crown witness, he was assigned "various lives", he thought he was actor in the film, someone reads his thoughts - we read in the documentation from the Prison in Szczecin."

you lie! Mr Dąbrowski died in October of 2012... the story has been dredged up in order to slander a dead man....

ufff, some people are really not too sharp arnt you?
it didnt meant exact time when guy did die and what adamowicz was doing at this time.
its called metaphor. mean while someone suffer adamowicz was busey doing charity in front of cameras.doesnt have to be at this very moment...its criticize of some moral choices moron

No it doesn't. It sounds very much like the normal experience of someone having an episode of that particular illness.

doesnt have to be at this very moment...its criticize of some moral choices moron

While Kaczinski emotes on stage about the Smolensk incident, homeless citizens of his country die on the streets. It's a representative democracy, and an elected politician can't do everything for everyone all at once. Nevertheless Mayor Adamowicz did far more than most. Hence his huge popularity and being re-elected several times.

BTW, it isn't "called metaphor"...

Hence his huge popularity and being re-elected several times.

Don't you find it strange that he wasn't even endorsed by his own party at the last election and chose to stand as an indepedent?

No. Mayor of Katowice - always independent as long as I can remember. Mayor of Gdynia - always independent.
Others?

we got to the truth at the end.

Maybe he was independent and not official PO - hatdly justifies stabbing him to death does it ?

Don't you find it strange that he wasn't even endorsed by his own party

No.

Maybe he was independent

Yes, he stood as an independent. Mayors often do in PL.

Mayor Adamowicz won several elections in Gdańsk, was very much liked by the residents, and was probably more popular than his party's brand. It happens in politics. Not least in Poland where politicians shift from party to party more often than you would be used to.

Yes, he stood as an independent. Mayors often do in PL.

so...why you guys were blabbing for the last few days, that PIS hatred was the reason cus Adamowicz was from PO?
now you say,he was independent.

could i get link to similar account of"zloty melon" and "mrowka cala" pls?

Delphian has no clue what you are talking about.

This is why ppl dont like Owsiak regardless of the good thing he does. Delphian can't have any knowledge about that since he is mainstream leftist tube watcher (yet he blames others for watching only mainstream media)...

Sadly in Polish but delph and jon as true Poles will have no issues with understanding.

He shouldn't be talking about a lot of things with paedophilia among them.,,

why you guys were blabbing

There you go again.

Your comment/questionette doesn't actually make any sense at all,

now you say,he was independent.

Read the thread. Unless of course starting a pointless argument then losing it badly has just made you post an obtuse comment...

This is why ppl dont like Owsiak r

Plenty of "ppl", millions even, like him a lot.

16 Jan 2019 #83
So what? I just enlightened you about the real reasons ppl distrust him. All know he does good stuff and all would agree that he should get paid for that equally good. Problem is his "Złoty Melon" and his wife's "Mrówka Cała" financial reports arent transparent. That's shady and make ppl courious. Also he was telling ppl how much of WOŚP money went to promote "przystanek Woodstock" (YES!!! not all WOŚP money was/is going for the babies!!!) now he stopped doing that but a simmilar amount of pln's is now described as "WOŚP promoting" obviously because more and more ppl see that "Woodstock" is the place for narcomans and alcoholics with no morality at all.

Now after some lunatic stabbed Adamowicz to death both CBA and CBŚP have "green light" to lustrate WOŚP. He abandonned the ship so we can expect some very, very interresting news from the police and CBA comming in soon. (just my opinion).

the real reasons ppl distrust him.

Many people like him and trust him.

Problem is his "Złoty Melon" and his wife's "Mrówka Cała" financial reports arent transparent.

No problem at all.

przystanek Woodstock

Excellent. It's a good event.

16 Jan 2019 #86
We all know you do drugs and do "stuff" with ur fellow males so it's no surprise that the event is greeat to you.
jon357 74 | 22,054
16 Jan 2019 #87
Do you? More likely, you're trying (and failing) to damage the reputation of one of the most popular public figures in Poland, and his WOŚP charity which millions donate to and watch the finale of.

If you disapprove of people attending te hugely popular Przystanek Woodstock, what sort of large event would you prefer they attend?
gregy741 5 | 1,232
16 Jan 2019 #88
WOŚP charity which millions donate to and watch the finale of.

information came out
WOSP spent 13 k zloty on security for that event...13k !!!!
and they blame PIS for this tragedy..this is joke.
thats £2.5 k ..are they for real? thank god this maniac didnt decide to kill more people. owsiak should be jailed

bet he will put some 40 million as cost of running this year WOSP
jon357 74 | 22,054
16 Jan 2019 #89
So?

WOSP spent 13 k zloty on security for that event...13k !

Very cheap. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. And they did.

they blame PIS f

I don't think WOŚP, Poland's most popular and respected charity, has blamed anyone yet.
mafketis 37 | 10,890

what sort of large event would you prefer they attend?

2 hour hate against Goldstein (aka Donald Tusk)?

marathon memorial mass for those 'betrayed at dawn' (Smolensk)?

Poland and Russia friendship summit?
