Polish Girl & Me...Is She Interested?

Now I know that in Poland prostitution is legal and many a "Polish princess" can give a whole list of excuses why she's spreading her legs for hard currency

in most countries of western europe prostitution is legal just like in the USA.

But in many other countries the woman isn't exactly considered the best candidate for a wife if she's been selling ass regardless of excuse. Most of these places, surprise, surprise, consider prostitution itself a crime.

Where?
Oh, I've checked. In Africa and Asia (exluding Israel)

red and light red - prostitution illegal
green, light greeb and blue - prostitution legal

To me, it looks like you already filed her as "prostitute (or kind of a prostitute)", and that you are looking here for the support to confirm your thoughts about her.

Using just this fact it seems that relationship with her is without future.

Anyway, the easiest way to get along with partner is to find someone with similar social, economical status, background, values, ideas about life. No headaches if you choose that way.

Multicultural couples have to deal with many differences that require patience, feelings of uncertainty, confusion, etc.
Usually, those problems are not solvable on forums.

So true... but I guess the OP has worked that out for himself having read the replies so far (my own included);)

I am sorry, but the thread starter is doing what a reasonably thinking man does if faced with such a dilemma. He asks for a second opinion before making a decision.

He already made up his mind.

You don't see that?

Had the thread starter made up his mind, he wouldn't have started the thread.

I say that at the time he started it both options ( kicking her to the curb and staying with her ) were open, with the thread starter leaning towards the former.

Paulina,

Why am I with her if I have such disrespect? First, I never disrespected her until recently, which is why I seek advice on a forum geared toward Polish culture. My gut feeling about her and the prositution bit was never good. I suspected it before we were dating but brushed it aside so that I could get to know her and I was stupid for it. You see, when you develop feelings for somebody you fail to incorporate logic into your thinking processes as emotions cloud your mind.

The truth is I don't think she is currently engaging in prostitution, but I wonder about her past. It's funny that for the last four months (the time I have been dating her), she complains about being broke but prior to that, her financial situation was much better (as she reports). I believe that she uses me not only for money but to provide security and comfort in terms of living standard, self-respect and a way to manage herself without resorting to illegal activity. It's like a way out for her. This might also explain why proposed the idea of marriage. Does any right-minded individual get married after four months? What the hell is that all about?

Also, she told me that she gets tested on a "regular basis" for sexually transmitted diseases and even "tests herself" for HIV/AIDS. Who the **** does that?! All of that came up in conversation and she was not being sarcastic. In fact, the expression I gave when I heard it quickly made her change the subject. Similarly, she once admitted that she believes prostitution is an understandable/acceptable form of work in certain instances.

By the way everyone, in the U.S., alot of Russian and E. European women work for escort services where they advertise a date but sex occurs at some point during the "date." If ever questioned by authorities, both parties would simply allege that the sex was consensual. Thus, a loophole in the law since the sex was agreed upon and money only exchanged for the purpose of a "date." Alot of women also work in massage parlors where sexual favors occur during the massage.

Phurion:

1) You are being logical about this. And unfortunately the logical answer in this case seems to be: "Yes, your Polish sweety is or has until recently been in the sex biz to an unknown capacity".

2)

Why am I with her if I have such disrespect?

- don't let anyone here bully You into thinking that by writing about very legitimate concerns you are somehow disrespecting anyone.

3)

she complains about being broke but prior to that, her financial situation was much better (as she reports)

Sounds just about typical. She didn't tell You about her hooker past and she sees You as a way out. As You noticed, she already expects You to provide the same amount of living standard ( "hundreds of dollars" ) that she achieved through earning easy money in the sex biz. The notion to get married quick also fits in quite well with all this.

If I were You I'd get out of Dodge. This has no potential of working long-term, especially if she treats You like a sucker and won't admit to what she's done in the past.

4)

By the way everyone, in the U.S., alot of Russian and E. European women work for escort services

- I'm sure the local Polish women on this forum will burn You on a cross after this statement.

money-hungry sluts in Poland is higher than in, let's say, U.S., U.K. or Germany.

I had my suspicions and wanted to get second opinion. I've been reading these forums since I started dating this girl and now, at this point in the relationship, I decide to post here.

As for a future with this girl, there is none. I already know that and I don't intend to start one.

For the record everyone, I have no particular bias against Polish people or women, so those of you making comments in this regard please stop.

And to answer previous questions, this girl is nearly 30 years old.

:P

Oh, when I think of all those stupid threads about "slutty Polish gold-diggers"... hmm... :)

That was quick :P So, end of topic, I guess :)

Well, women of this age in Poland are usually more mature, I think... But maybe it's normal for New York, considering what was going on in "The Sex and the City" series, I don't know ;)))

She is by no means a true New Yorker. Her attitude and way of thinking is entirely not New York.

haha that is where she is from.

RUN......seriously mate!!! Run like the clappers! Trust me :D

I'm sure not all girls from there are like this, just that 5 of my mates were dating girls from there and they all got fecked over. I knew a lass also who had a bf, but was trying to get me to go with her, she didn't react kindly to me telling her to bog off :D

Well, what I meant was more the party and drinking style of life, and chasing after men :P
But I guess those TV series were about women from Manhattan ;)

Phurion:

I think that You, sir, have made the right choice and You don'r really need me to tell You that.

Of course prepare yourself for a LOT ( and I do mean a metric **** ton - she is Polish ) of crying, emotional blackmail and/or some crazy mindgames which she might be inclined to play when she notices you've made up your mind.

I have no particular bias against Polish people or women, so those of you making comments in this regard please stop.

- don't worry, it's pretty much typical. Every time You decide that a woman from Eastern Europe is/might be a prostitute based on strong evidence she will still call You biased, "racist" ( know this one doesn't make any sense ) and etc. Make nothing of it.

No, only girls from £ódz are like that ;)

haha that is where she is from.

ROTFL... I'm literally on the floor laughing right now... Dude, Lodz's...Lodz's like THE capital of Polish sluts. Former blue-collar city with serious unemployment issues, extremely materialistic people that would kill their own grandma for a few cents, rampant corruption + prostitution and most easy chicks are Volkswagen easy. No need to buy a Mercedes to go fishing if You catch my drift.

If she's from Lodz than run like hell.

Ok, generalisations aside it's extremely easy to find a materialistic, self-obsessed quasi princess Polish slut in Lodz of all places.

dtaylor5632

I see You've ran into one of Lodz's finest :-) My condolences, with them the shag's usually not worth the accompanying drama.

I know that's another generalisation but if she says she's from Lodz that usually translates into "five-dollar ho" in English.

I'm slowly understanding the Polish culture but in all reality,

Its not Polish culture which you are experiencing.. you are however experiencing:

i think she found her cow and she's milking you... sorry...

May I ask you this question?

If an American girl behaved this way, would you dump her because she was mooching off you?

I highly doubt her friends are making mortage payments.

Maybe some other mug is?

I personally dont see anything wrong with a man taking a women out for dinner, but its nice if the favour is returned once in a while..Same with gifts...its nice to receive, but its nicer to give...IMO

sorry Phurion but you really have to be really young to fall for this age-old scam:

-Pretty girl meets higher-middle-class gentleman, she happens to be bankrupt (or almost)
-she tells often how hard she has it to make ends meet
-Makes gentleman spend a lot of money in expensive restaurants, gifts and alike
-she wants to marry soon

I mean come on...!

Polish women in general tend to do that. Pre-nups aren't a really big thing in Poland.

Why, thank you for necroposting and digging this up. I exchanged a couple PM's
with Phurion ( original TS ) after this thread ran its course and if I recall correctly
he did not decide to pursue this particular girl any further.

Now in regards to the comments- while I may have used a hyperbole, a number
of my colleagues had particularly nasty relationships with women from Lodz and
the word "greedy" came up every frigging time.

It becomes somewhat understandable if one visits Lodz personally and takes some
time to stroll away from "Piotrkowska" ( local high street ) or "Manufaktura" ( local
big mall owned by the French ) towards where Lodz's inhabitants actually live. Now,
if one walks away from Piotrkowska one will quickly find himself near such areas
of wealth and privilege as "Gdanska" or "Wschodnia", while walking away from "Manufaktura"
one can quickly reach the dreaded "Baluty" neighbourhood.

I **** you not, madam, these places look like Brownsville ( Brooklyn ) in the 80's,
sansthe burned out cars. Local population living in these abominable conditions
isn't exactly too nice or friendly.

Things aren't much better in the housing projects ( Widzew, Chojny ) located on
the outskirts of town.

To be fair though, I can't say a bad word about guys from Lodz, the ones I met
were/are either educated ( and underpaid ) professionals or bloody hard workers in the
construction industry. Most of them did complain about their wives/girlfriends though.

Edit: I'll throw in links to some photos of the areas I mentioned to illustrate what I mean:

thank you for the links and for putting my mind at rest, sounds like the man, hardworking, educated and underpaid! also paying a lot of alimenty to the ex! and never gets to see his son! However I do think you 'd like his sister, hardworking.educated and totally unaffected, overheard her refusing to buy a jumper she liked because she wanted to spend the money on presents for my boys! This lady is naturally beautiful, though the expat polish girls in my area don't seem to rate her, methinks ' trochę zazdrości'!!!!!

They are like most women - they like confident guys who will show them respect and make them feel secure and make them laugh sometimes. Your attitude is awful, so I doubt you have a chance as she will pick up on that - but if you want to quit wasting time you want to be direct then ask her for a coffee and tell her she's not your type but you may as well bang her. You will probably end up wearing your coffee.

Show her some respect. And stay away from her. You're not good enough for her, you sexist dinosaur.
