Speaking in general. But in case of our wedding party, we can presume by looking at the second photo in 298 that the boucqyet (sic) was caught after the first throw.
It's a squid game thing? It's thrown three times and those who catch it survive and everyone else is gunned down by a giant little girl with a machine gun.

No, the reason was different. The bride threw her bouquet twice or thrice (I don`t remember now) to prolong the fun. hahahaha All those game participants were young. They were playing a practical joke on the custom, sort of. :):):)
The young man who caught the bow tie is being interviewed and then he introduces his fiancee. AFAIK, they are married today. The tradition worked in his case.
What is the next game the queue for which you can see in the last photo???
Hint - you will never guess coz it was so crazy. hahahahahaha
A long time ago I was invited to a Vietnamese wedding (in Warsaw) not so much alcohol but great food and soooo many flowers. Among the games there was one where each of the newlyweds were blindfolded and felt (innocuous) body parts of several people to see if they could recognize their new spouse (I think he felt the knee and she felt the face but I could be wrong).
Sorry, I have never seen it. Most Polesess and Poles aren`t so forward to touch strangers, even blindfolded. :):):) Imagine they start touching intimate parts......... Unspeakable scandal at a wedding reception. :):):)
The next game is a mystery to me - I simply don`t remember the details. They are standing on a line and after a few minutes only one couple remains as victors. Was it some kind of left/right foot stomping trial???
If they were actually standing on it I might think it's some variation of the US sobriety test ( although a bit weird for a wedding ) but they're standing next to it not on it.
