Lifted it from Polishmeknobs blog which is very good.
It stems from Catholicism and an overly judgemental attitude. Some people just can't leave things alone. If it isn't white and straight, it's trash! That kind of nonsense is prevalent! I've known gay men and have thought nothing of it. I actually went to a gay bar with all the straight guys from my school (one was gay). It was a bit uncomfortable in moments but generally was a laugh. They make for good dancers :)
i do love going out in blackpool as the gay scene is safer i think .. well it feels safer cause the guys dont bother with you but im sure it was wierd in some bitsxx

That will teach you to fall for the "hey you have dropped a fiver on the floor" trick :-)))
or teach the new act of walking with your arse to the wall xxx
LOL. Nah, I wasn't giving off any signs and why would I? I just can't imagine doing that, it doesn't enter my thinking. Still, if gays wanna do it behind closed doors, it's not my business to interfere.
i know what you mean but they do make good dancers some handsome men and they are a waste xxxxxx
It was quite amusing to see women flirt with them. I can't imagine what runs through their minds when they start getting turned on by a handsome gay guy. Maybe, 'why did I bother starting this?' :P
it is a thrill to want something you cannot have xxxx
have you ever had a desire or want frsomething you cant have .. it must be frustating for them when they think they have gotten somewhere with the guy then turn round and they are snogging another man xxx gutting at the very least xxxxxxx

I can imagine that being amusing :) Well, it all depends where you set your standards. I don't see why gays in Poland should feel bad. It's just how they are.

when you have all work no play like me then the slightest things i do find funny but i am very passionate person about things
and worse when my boyfriends brother dances and cooks better than me lol xxxxxx
Getting gay contacts in Poland is hard as one of the teachers here tried it. Still, he found a loyal helper who put 'meat' his way. It was discreet so harmed nobody. It's not like he was getting it on in public.

you have a way with words xxxxxxx but yeah quite right but here they do it in public loos etc xxxxx
So do straight couples ;) ;) (I guess, LOL)

what offer meat lol polite way of saying xxxxxx
do you ????? xxxxx
Come again, please.
i was joking about meat offering lol any way have you ever seen a man chat a gay female up , his ego is shattered when they realise they are not into them xxx
his ego is shattered when they realise they are not into them
I think he would be just disappointed. Its worse for a guy when straight female turns him down.
i know its as if the world has caved in xxx
u are straying from your own topic.

Poland is a pretty conservative country (but much more liberal that places like Russia.)

I have a very simple explanation
They are afraid to tell their Babcia's
"I can't have kids"
xD
Just like if I were sterile, I would never tell anyone lol

Scottish people are more law abiding. Polish people get rowdy more and forget about law, this includes all of the popuylation, and when a gay person has the unfortunate bad-luck to come across a rowdy Pole who happens to be hating on people ...... that is the answer
so a bit or wrong place at wrong time ? xxx
It stems from Catholicism
yes, mainly
Still, if gays wanna do it behind closed doors, it's not my business to interfere.
what about when they flaunt their "happiness" in a parade or something?

Merged: How tolerant people are towards Gay/lesbian in Poland?
I'm always wondering how good or bad people might get after knowing if a person is homosexual,
Do people in general accept it at school,, work,.of generally in their group/ society?
I'm trying to understand better polish people to make my life better in this country :)
Anyone can share their experience so far in positive or negatives?

"Do people in general accept it at school,, work,.of generally in their group/ society?"
How about just keep that... something behind your own door ?

Well thats the question only, if people are tolerant in the society for it?... normally so many people still are hiding in nutshell :(

It's just like most other places. If people have a strong opinion against other people's personal lives then that tends to come as part of a package with all sorts of other baggage.
Educated urban people tend to hold different views to less educated people with a more parochial outlook. Same everywhere.
