I would like to hear how you all rate Poland and here are my 3 categories:

-Quality of life

-Polish culture and people

-Food

Feel free to suggest additional categories but I'd like to keep them as BROAD as possible, that will keep the list from getting out of hand.

1 the worst, 10 the best, and because I think it's very significant, please tell us how long you've been here and your nationality.

My personal ratings to follow.

-Quality of life

-Polish culture and people

-Food

1. 8
2. 8...but I'm leaving out the old women...coz that'd make it much lower, old women here are such complete b*tches.
3. 9

Suggestions....wages (6)
bureaucracy (1)
Leisure facilities...like gyms, swimming pools, football pitches etc (6)

Can't think of any more at the minute, but I'll be back

no sense in rating wages. we all know they're shite.

Leisure facilities...like gyms, swimming pools, football pitches etc (6)

i'd say too specific.

bureaucracy (1)

again, completely obvious. everyone can agree it's a disaster. no sense in rating it.

Just for comparison sake I'll rate America...

-Quality of life: 9 Despite what you may hear and all the griping, for the most part everyone has a pretty good quality of life compared to the rest of the world. Mostly everyone has enough to eat and even the lower class homes all have cars, color TVs and computers and video games, etc. "America, where our 'poor' are fat"

-US culture and people: 5 About half of the people here are nice, kind, honest and decent. While the other half is comprised of selfish, lowlifes and jerks. Our culture is a mixture of many influences but in recent times much of it has been dominated by garbage (harmful, even) "culture", ghetto Hip-hop, hollow Hollywood, etc.

-Food: 10 Even in smaller towns we have everything to eat you can imagine, from traditional American dishes to every sort of authentic ethnic cuisine. If you can't find what you want to eat here you're not likely to find it anywhere.

You silver tongued charmer, you.

As an albeit semi-human Anglo-German hybrid, I feel compelled to ask you - if the peeps and the food average out at 9/10 (personally, I'd switch that - these last 16 years I've been lucky with my friends & in love but a little less fortunate with my restaurants) - what is it about the quality of life that merits only a 6?

Quality of life - depends which city or village ;)

Culture and people - two different things for me

Food - Asides from the Hungarian dishes?

A more serious answer next time, maybe :)

VERY GOOD and I agree with almost all of it, honestly, but let's keep it on topic, otherwise it's going to turn into a rating of every country anyone has ever been to.

So, what's your rating Fuzzy? I'm afraid that your rating will confirm the reason I'm in USA, especially when it comes to Quality of life.

1. I give 5 (It mostly sucks, even though my family thinks that they've got it all)
2. I give 8 (excluding old ladies like someone said) lol.
3. I give 7 (maybe because I really like Mediterranean food)

Top rated quality item in Poland for me is FOOD!!!

and very few fatties

Not this old chestnut.

The impression of very few would be more accurate.

Less than the US and UK maybe but by average European standards, Poland is far from "fattie" free.

7/10 - I was staying with an upper-middle class family for about 2 weeks, and the house is very cramped with a 1960 TV with rabbit ears. Okay I'm exaggerating, but you get the point. Poland is beautiful though and there's so much to see.

9/10 - Most of the people I met were incredibly nice and welcoming to me, I'm an American dating a Polish girl and everyone was incredibly graceful towards me. Her parents even bought me a tuxedo! I can't tell you how many shots of vodka I was forced to drink so that "we can show you American the polish way!" ;)

10/10 - The food is incredible. Pierogies, zapkienkas, polish sausage, the billions of different soups... I attended a Polish wedding and we litterally had like 7 dinners. Polish food is amazing.

I love Poland and my girlfriend so much that I am returning to Poland this January:)

Yes, some Polish food is tasty but it doesn't mean it's healthy.

Here's the list of the top 15 healthiest countries in the world.

That's not true.Find me a Polish bread or sausage in Millsboro or Selbyville DE.Will ya?And I am not talking what Americans call "Polish sausage" (which is not edible IMO) but authenic stuff. The nearest places where you can get it are either Baltimore MD or NJ.Now if you are talking Mexican food then I agree you can get it everywhere.
