Now you are abusing hundreds years old Polish traditions.

He's been doing it for years and I don't think anything can stop him.

Do you mean Dougpol always imputes that Polish heroes had lovers??? That`s outrageous! Polish heroes loved but they rarely went to bed cause they were too busy fighting for the motherland. When it wasn`t Napoleonic Wars, it was Warsaw Uprising. When not a Rising, it was the defence of Głogów. and so on, etc etc. It is a miracle that Poles exist as a nation at all - only fighting and no child making. `

cause her guy was a real badass, tall and strong, very muscular and handsome too .

The chap who was nearly cut in two and who she nursed back to health? Ah - that's right! It's years since I saw the film. A lot of people rate it higher than Potop; all I remember was discussion in the wife's family about the actress being voted the prettiest girl in a popular publication of the day, because of the wave of emotion for Polish patriotism.

the defence of Głogów

Very interesting place Pawian, if that's the same Glogow......anyway, the protagonists always had plenty of crumpet in modern epics such as GoT, but Jerzy Hoffmann forgot about that obvious part, the films being good family viewing and all, but he was obsessed with the drinking! (not personally, one supposes.....)

Hmm, cut in two, cut in two.... Nothing rings the bell yet, I can`t recall that movie.

Sorry, no. The badass guy wasn`t cut in two but hanged in a very peculiar way, the one you probably never heard of cause it wasn`t used in England for capital punishment

We are talking of Pan W, aren't we? Or is the girl not the actress I'm thinking of? The blonde in Pan W?

Michał Wolodyjowski loved women as much as he loved his motherland. First that lost love of his which led him to be a monk (memento mori and Zagłoba and Ketling's plot ), then Krzysia and Basia. And then he gave his life for his motherland. And the final scene of the film.

Honestly speaking, if it's ever on tv I just watch the beginning (monastery) and the ending (the funeral).
As for the second character, I'll give some clues. She was the love of the title character from a tv series made in the 70s. He acted against the law, yet he was a very honorable man.

Ah - was it the Major chappie?

Nope. He was an outlaw.
The actor who played him was really masculine. And he actually played in Pan Wołodyjowski, too.

haha we perfectly keep to gender parity - male, female, trans. hahaha

Marysia - a male museum curator dressed as a woman and working as a house keeper/carer in the comedy: Wanted: He or She. .

Sorry. It was Potop. My memory is fading..🙁

Aah, Deluge. But Kmicic isn`t cut in two there. He is burnt, shot, slashed but not cut in two.

In the meantime
Who is it?

It may be difficult, but I will try: his surname starts with the letter Ł?

Thats gotta be my favorite polish comedy.

"Polish gangsters move like a coal wagon... They need some style... See look at this (points to black dudes on tv) look at their moves.. their style... the cat like moves - our boys should be like that"

"Do you know where african americans (murzyni) came from?"

"Well yeah they came on slave ships"

"Exactly. And these blacks are the descendants of people who were too stupid to run away from a man with a net or who's chief traded him for some tobacco because he was useless to him. So no I do not feel our boys do not need "style" and be like these blacks!!!"

Bwahahha

The boss from Chłopaki nie płaczą

Yes! The mafioso from Boys Don`t Cry who is obsessed with healthy life style and worries about his son who doesn`t want to be a gangster. Do you remember his famous words uttered in that scene above?: hahaha Pazura commented later on that Łazuka invented them on the set.

"Do you know where african americans (murzyni) came from?"

You should this film to Rich. you can even watch together. :):):)

Krzysia Drohojowska played by Barbara Brylska. In the film she marries Hassling-Ketling of Elgin.

Sorry, I think we should explain sth at the very beginning - I think we won`t show pics from the same film one after another - that would be boring. We can show the same film, why not, but after a few pages have passed.

The character has a partner badass who carries the object from post 40.

I did say "nearly"..:)

Oh yes, but still that nearly provoked an image of cutting in two like a magician does to his assistant. :):)

As for two new photos, I know the names of actresses but films not yet. It will take some time on me cause we are going to the pool after breakfast.

Who is this?

This is Marysia in the film "Poszukiwany, poszukiwana" (1973), one of my favorite comedy films, a film directed by Stanisław Bareja. A perfect description of the PRL years, a film that is becoming even better as the years pass on.

Little One, learning from an experienced master how to cheat in poker, in Great Con.

I tried to find that young Anna Dymna`s role from 1970s but couldn`t.

The character Is Marysia played by Anna Dymna from the film Znachor.

Ok, I got a bit confused thinking she was from the same film.

Oh, yes, my mistake cause I was looking at 1970s films while Znachor is from 1981. But that you found it is very impressive. Respect. :):)

Sorry, but such bare nudity is against the rules. :):)

The character is Maryna played by Ewa Lemańska from the TV series Janosik.

Yes, the series about Janosik, the mountain robber and his company. And there were some nudity scenes in it, indeed. In a 1970s TV series! ):

Doug, you never asked how he was hanged. By the 7th rib. Unfortunately, they didn`t show it in the last episode. Pity.
