I hate Warsaw. The worst part about living here is the people who move here from small towns, villages..

You've not been to Poland yet.

Yes I have.

you might find it surprising.

It would only be surprising if one were first to believe anything you would have to say about it.

It's an interesting city

Poland's not a city and the thread is about Warsaw.

Anyway, when's the last time you were able to afford a travel ticket since your admitted experience has only been that as a visitor?

Poland's not a city

Warsaw is.

You should visit Poland one day when you're older. Warsaw in particular is an interesting city; an eclectic one made up of people who've settled here from other places in Poland, and people who've come from further away. Together, we make it what it is. After 3 decades here, I'd not live anywhere else. The winters are bleak, however the summers are good, and something that you can't find out in a superficial short stay is how much of a multilayered city it is, and how quickly it changes.

In some ways, the city centre is almost unrecognisable from when I first moved here, and new suburbs have appeared. There's still the 'old Warsaw' though, if you know where to look (you'd need to try learning some Polish to engage) and of course as a city it isn't for everyone.

You don't know what you are talking about so we'll just leave it right there.

usually emigrated form villages or smaller towns all over Poland to Warsaw.

There's the Warszawiaki phenomenon of course, a bit like the people you've described. Like the sloiki (who go home every weekend and return with food), but wanting to be seen in the 'best' (i.e. most fashionable) places, go to the 'best' parties. Very few of them are more than about 10 years away from a village somewhere and longer-term Warszawiacy consider Warszawianki to be a bit of a cliche. After a while, you get to know where the Warszawiacy go and where the Warszawianki go and decide accordingly.
