"A Short Film About Killing"

Yes, killing as a murder of a taxi driver and then killing the murderer in the name of the law.

A scene of the execution:

What about this?:

"Chasing Adam"?
OP pawian  221 | 26346

Yes. In Pursuit of Adam,

cannot be a drama

It is drama.
A good psychological drama story spoiled by a shallow film which was probably too short to fully explain the logic in characters` motives. Two males compete for one woman who rejects both after discovering they are more interested in their own rivalry than in her person. The important background context is Warsaw Rising.

What is going to happen to this vodka?

It's about to be set on fire. From popiół i diament, a great movie (not enough is said about the using of lighting in it)

It's about to be set on fire.

Yes, to commemorate the fallen brothers in arms. A famous scene in the Polish cinema.

There is one problem though - regular vodka of 40% doesn`t burn. So, the glasses contain either stronger moonshine vodka or spirit.

unoriginal scene here:

Wow! I am thrilled you have still remembered this thread and riddle! :):) You are simply am..... unbelievable! :):):):)

Yes, that actor plays a doctor unjustly accused of euthanising a patient. The series was titled Circulation System. I watched it on TV in late 1970s first, then I read the book based on the script. Good reading, containing a lot of words of wisdom. E.g. Males like easy women. However, they prefer to marry the decent ones. :):):)

Thanks for bringing those memories! :):):)

pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uk%C5%82ad_kr%C4%85%C5%BCenia_(serial_telewizyjny)

The protagonist of the series, widower Dr. Bognar, is wrongly accused of euthanasia and deprived of the right to practice medicine. Unable to stand inaction, he conducts an investigation on his own. He finds a clue and has to change his locations while looking for the culprit. He works as a nurse, a hygienist at a technical school, and even helps a herbalist in the countryside. He excludes the suspects one by one, and at the same time learns about the conditions in which doctors work outside the hospital he was in before.

Pity you are saying it so late. :):) If you thought in a lady-like manner that I would guess it on my own, then you made a mistake. I am not such a genius after all. :):):)

Układ krążenia :)

I still can`t forget it coz in one chapter the book/film deals with the problem of a girl in advanced pregnancy and she has mental issues (family history), wants to commit a suicide and doctors debate whether an abortion is a right solution in her case.

:):):) Maf, you bad boy, this is a decent forum... And I am a decent ape... Polish films didn`t deal with such stuff...... American ones did. Woody Allen`s, for example. :):):)

to the man

First, you need to establish the name of the famous actor. Then, google his name combined with a dog. Easy.

What is going to happen to the man and his dog??

They have to leave the building? The neighbours from hell eventually win the conflict as they want the dog and its owners out. Jan Himilsbach plays the old porter in the film ' Pies'.

Jan Himilsbach plays the old porter in the film ' Pies'.

Wow! I didn`t know that film. Thank you for making me aware.

Let`s not prolong this riddle. There is another film, a drama, in which Himilsbach appears with a dog: We have to kill that love from 1974.

The best thing about the film is the narrative frame, the plot with Himilsbach and the dog. (...) Here, Himilsbach is the caretaker of a building materials warehouse. He made friends with a homeless dog, and since the dog barked in the evenings at the guys to whom his master illegally sold cement, the owner decided to get rid of it. Himilsbach's plot in the film is silent and looks like a parable or a fairy tale. At the same time, it has a lot of life.

The dog loves the owner who took him in and tamed him, the owner loves the dog for his affection, but he knows he has to get rid of him. The dog doesn't want to leave, and the owner, seeing no other option, decides to kill the animal with an explosive. But it runs after the owner and both die.

I watched the film once only and considered it very depressing coz most characters are cynical and corrupt.

What is the relationship between the man and the boy?

I remember this old film, older than me in fact. I watched it in 1979 and never again coz it is a sad depressing movie about an unhappy child. I hate such films.

Of course I will wait with the title until sb else tries.
Hint - the boy feels lonely in his family coz the stepmother and his dad neglect him.

I saw it onced on TV and had a similar reaction.... very sad, especially the ending....

Interestingly (maybe) a friend of mine briefly rented an apartment that had been owned by one of the cast members (though known more for other things). The cast member had died a few years earlier and there was a complicated legal situation so the person who inherited it hadn't cleaned most of the actor's personal effects out of it.

At least I got the actor right. Can't believe he was in 2 different films with a dog!

What is the relationship between the man and the boy?

Father and son?

Yes, very good! :):):)

Exactly!! However, it is still more complicated - there is a deeper meaning.
Can you get the name of the adult actor, too??? :):):):)
