Are There Requirements For Keeping a Polish Permanent Residency?

Aside from having to renew the card every 10 years.

I.e. - Are there restrictions on how long you can be out of the country, or any thing else you cannot/must do to keep it?

In the case of renewing the card every 10 years, if you don't renew the card do you lose the Permanent Residency? Or is it like a passport, if you don't renew your passport you don't lose your citizenship?

Thank you!

Translated below. So once you have received a Polish permanent residency card, it cannot be taken away from you, but you must renew it every 10 years to have a legal document in your own possession. It's like a passport - when it expired, you no longer have a valid document, but your "citizenship" doesn't expire and at any time you may apply for a new document.

"The decision on issuing a permanent residence permit is issued for an indefinite period. The residence card itself is valid for 10 years, which means that the card must be replaced every 10 years as part of the card replacement procedure. However, there is no need to re-apply for a permit and go through the process of obtaining it.

This permit entitles you to work in Poland without the need to obtain additional documents. A permanent residence permit issued in Poland does not entitle you to work in a country other than Poland.
