Weapons laws in Poland. Carrying a concealed handgun?

That's your claim: you prove it.

Being that you are TROLLING TOTALLY OFF TOPIC I must refrain from responding besides the fact that, I SURE DO KEEP YOU BUSY. :-) lmao

TROLLING TOTALLY OFF TOPIC

The simple fact is that the rate of murder by firearm in Poland is lower than any US city which has even one murder by firearm in a year. No wonder you'd prefer us to focus on discussing whether or not you live in a town that doesn't exist.

I wonder whether any mod will realise that "Intentional hijacking of forum threads is strictly prohibited." and respond accordingly to your claims about the murder rate in a fictional American town in a thread about "Weapons laws in Poland. Carrying a concealed handgun?" but I'd better not hold my breath: the chances of them doing anything about your off-topic trolling is about the same as the rate of murders in Poland involving a firearm, i.e. 0.06 per 100,000.

And the town I live in has no murders by guns so Polands murder rates by gun are higher then the town I live in so their ya go Har.

All the rest of your intentional hyjack trolling you have done in the last few post are just another of your skillfully sow innuendo steeped in exaggeration (lie) Har.

Now please stay On Topic here before you get your sixth warning.

the town I live in has no murders by guns

The town you claim to live in does not exist. You are simply making things up because you cannot argue against the simple facts. Let's review some of those facts.

Fact: in 2011 (the most recent year for which full data is available at data.unodc.org) Poland had a murder by firearm rate of 0.06 per 100,000 people.

Fact: in 2011 the country where you claim guns keep people safe had a murder by firearm rate of 2.77 per 100,000 people.
Fact: a person is more than 46 times more likely to be murdered by being shot in the USA than in Poland.
Fact: in 2011 Poland had an overall murder rate of 1.2 per 100,000 of the population.
Fact: in 2011 the country where you claim guns keep people safe an overall murder rate of 4.7 per 100,000 of the population.
Fact: there is no town in the USA in which a murder by firearm rate can be calculated to two decimal places per 100,000 of the population that has a lower murder by firearm rate than Poland's.

Fact: neither any amount more of lies about zero members of the NRA having ever murdered anybody by shooting them or about Poland and the USA having the same number of murders or anything else nor any amount more of off-topic trolling by you will change any of the above facts.

Geez Harry. He is talking about the town where he actually live.

Did you know that more people die in Poland than in the U.S.A. from alcoholism ?
Maybe Poland should outlaw alcohol consumption.
Or maybe that is why Poland outlawed guns because of the acute alcohol consumption in their country.
I know that the Polish vodka Spirytus Wesoly will get you there in a hurry.

He is talking about the town where he actually live.

It doesn't matter which town he actually lives in, as opposed to the town he claims to live in (he is currently claiming he lives in is a fictional town): there is no town/city in the USA which has a murder rate that can be accurately calculated to one decimal place that beats Poland's 1.2 per 100,000 of the population. The one which comes closest is San Diego, which has nearly double Poland's rate, at 2.3 per 100,000 of the population.

Of course, perhaps he's trying to claim that his town has a lower murder by firearm rate than Poland's 0.06 per 100,000 people. But the simple fact is that there is no city in the USA which can accurately calculated to two decimal places a murder by firearm rate. You'd need to collect data from several years and compare it to a single year's data from Poland. If one takes San Diego again (choosing it because it has the lowest murder rate of any large city), you'd need to combine data for eight and a half years to get enough data to go to two decimal places, and even then the murder by firearm rate would be massively above Poland's 0.06.

The reality is that johnny knows all of the above. That's why he's trying so desperately to drive this discussion off-topic and making ad hom posts. The facts are crystal clear: having ready access to guns does not make a society safer, quite the reverse, as is shown by the simple fact that the USA has a murder rate nearly four times higher than that of Poland.

What Har refuses to understand is that there has never been a murder with a gun in the town I live in which makes the murder rate 0%.

(he is currently claiming he lives in is a fictional town

No, YOU claim that Har, not me.

The town you claim to live in does not exist.

How can that be when I have never made such a claim, those are your claims with your skillfully sown innuendo's steeped in exaggeration (lie) Har.

Mayberry is not a fictional town as the website I provided proves. (Wipe more egg off your face Har)
You have no idea what town I live in that has never had a murder with a gun.
The younger law abiding Poles will eventually be forced to defend themselves and their families with the way the world is going.
That is when the gun laws will start changing and changing fast in Poland.

Oh dear, the sadness that is johnny trying to argue against facts goes on. Now he has changed his profile (?action=userinfo&user=51460) to "Country, city Morgantown West Virginia" (a somewhat more believable choice than his previous ones, it might even be the real one). I've attached a screenshot so when he changes it again later you can see what he claims it is now.

Unfortunately johnny again hasn't covered the basics. This source neighborhoodscout.com/wv/morgantown/crime/ shows is that along with its population of 30,708 Morgantown West Virginia had a murder last year. That means the murder rate per 100,000 is 3.26. Sadly that rate is more than double the murder rate in Poland.

Perhaps johnny would like to claim that that murder did not involve a gun and repeat his claim that there has never been a murder with a gun in the town he lives in?OK.

Jeron Hawkins, a 19-year-old Charleston resident, had no idea that bringing a gun into a Morgantown nightclub in September 2011 would cost him his life. Hawkins got into an argument with another man at Karma, a club on High Street, ... Hawkins pulled his gun, killing 28-year-old Lucas Lee.

mountaineernewsservice.com/why-west-virginias-rate-of-gun-violence-is-above-the-national-average/

One really does wonder when johnny is going to realise he's up against facts he can't argue with and that his ceaseless lies are only going to be exposed.

That Johnny :) Guy's desperately looking for some arguments for free access to guns being good (even claims it LOWERS the crime rate lol) that he even openly lies. It's actually funny.

Murders rate 0,00 per 100000

Thanks for answering his question... Oh wait... You didn't, you just judged him because he wants to practice his God given right to self preservation. If your "culture" over looks the fact that people have a right own weapons that have purposeful use in self defense, then your culture sucks.

I see that with great timing Kukiz 15 have proposed liberalising the gun laws. Only 11 percent of Poles support this and 40 percent say that rather than being left alone the laws should be strengthened.

Polish laws allow you to own and posses black power weapon OR REPLICAS. So,you can spend about $500 for a .44 Army or .38 Navy replicas made recently.

They are extremely accurate, six loads revolvers.
Where is the problem?

Mostly very disgusting and very short sighted comments, especially considering European history! Having a gun available is not because you needed it yesterday, or at this very moment, but for what might come tomorrow. Guns were the FIRST thing that Hitler confiscated - for the public SAFETY, of course! Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it, unfortunately for the human race.

Harry, what was that about the murder rate in Poland being close to zero per 100,000? Is that over the last 10 years, or last 20, or last 2 years? What? How many Polish people were killed by guns in during Hitler's invasion? Maybe if every person had owned a gun (LIKE IN PRECIOUS and PEACEFUL and highly desirable Switzerland!), the Nazis might have had a tougher time of routing your army and killing so many civilians!

Gosh, maybe in Star Wars God (the force) shouldn't have allowed anyone to carry a blaster or a space ship with lasers! People have a right from the 'universe' to be able to defend themselves. You never need a gun until you need it, and no one knows what can happen tomorrow. You are so damn SMUG, it is pathetic! I'll move to Czech Republic instead! Even Russia is considering allowing personal ownship of weapons. And, you can own them now in Ukraine if you keep them in a safe at home (I know because my wife is from Ukraine).

Actually Poland have open policy when it comes to guns, everyone can carry a weapon. Poland is another Godless state that try so hard, I mean sooo hard to fit in within the global american imperialism. They do everything within their power to serve their masters in the white house and England, I don't blame them, they want to survive!
