Gun control in Poland: should Polish people be allowed to own guns?

Another massacre in American school.
[i]Mrs President of the US, Kamala Harris, addressed the school shooting in Georgia. "It's just outrageous that every day in our country, parents have to send their children to school, worrying if they're going to come home alive," she said. She called for action to reduce gun violence.

Another massacre in American school.

It goes on and on and Americans just won't listen, it's all "God and Guns" to them.

i agree. how many have to die before action is taken?

Loads!

Nothing will change.

And it won't change any time soon, Americans love their guns too much but they have no way of controlling the nutters that get them.

Another massacre in American school

Another? Then again, they're so common that they're no longer a big news item outside the country they happen in.

There seems to be a section of American society who can't quite believe that people in other countries pity them and are glad that we don't have their guns or their lack of a health service.

Yet when running for Senate Kumala publicly stated she wanted to take police officers out of schools. And this is on video. This stupid woman does nothing but flip flop on issues, on race she is daily, and on whether or not school safety is a priority.

take police officers out of schools

Appalling that any country which pretends to be civilised would need such a thing.

@PolAmKrakow, there are no police officers in Polish schools... Or metal detectors... Just saying...

Nothing will change.

That's what I think too, sadly...

Poles should not be allowed books, let alone guns.

Books are from the devil, and can fill your head with all sorts of dangerous ideas.

Poland is historically an agrarian nation. This is what preserved the religiosity and the culture despite centuries of occupation.

Farmers don't need books. Ask Pawian.

@Bobko, my mother read the whole village library while pasturing cows... I discovered "The Lord of the Rings" (and fell in love with it) on a shelf at my grandma's house in the countryside...

This is what preserved the religiosity and the culture despite centuries of occupation.

Nonsense.

But that's enough of me feeding your trolling :)

As is every nation unless people came down from the trees with steam engines in their hands.

Is that why you are living in the U.S.A. instead of fighting in the war back in your homeland for Russia ?

If cops have a reason to have guns, civilians have reasons to have guns.

Except in Polnad - a country without crimes.

If cops have a reason to have cars with blue lights on top, do civilians also?

Anyway, the police are civilian.

From Sep 2024: There seems to be a section of American society who can't quite believe that people in other countries pity them and are glad that we don't have their guns

Once again, you prove that you have absolutely no grasp of what's actually happening in Poland.

From today:

Poland makes firearms training mandatory for schoolchildren | Focus on Europe

"...shooting lessons for teenagers [is] a logical introduction to the gun-friendly Polish society. 'We have relatively very easy access to firearms, probably one of the most liberal laws in Europe right now. Poland finally came to the point that we can own firearms legally. Procedures are very easy going and in a way it is much easier to obtain a gun license in Poland than a driving license.'"

Is Tusk doing something right for Poland's security, or does the Eurocrat regard Poland's youth as mere cannon fodder, to act as a buffer protecting the immigrant-enriched societies of Germany, France, Belgium, and Britain in future conflicts with Russia?

That was the best video I saw on PF this year. It make me proud of Poland again...migrant policy and the fence being the first time.

Eat shlt, gun haters...

Thanks, Poloniusz.

That was the best video I saw on PF this year.

Yes, it was a very reassuring video, and it was great to see how Polish youth were enjoying the lessons, with their parents feeling proud of them as well. The Polish youth will not only learn how to use guns but also how to do so responsibly.

Now I have something to take to the next School District Board meeting.

They should be teaching kids this, not how a boy can be a girl.

Gun control in Poland: should Polish people be allowed to own guns?

Of course not coz we don`t need mass shootings like in the US.

Right now, deeply disappointed furious people use pepper sprays instead of guns.

A 49-year-old man was detained for spraying gas in the building of the District Office in Strzelce Opolskie.

The incident occurred on December 13, in the morning hours at the District Office in Strzelce Opolskie. On the ground floor of the building, an unknown man sprayed a substance in the toilet, which spread to the corridor. After a while, the district office employees and petitioners experienced symptoms such as shortness of breath and irritation of the respiratory tract.

70 people who were in the district office at the time were evacuated. One of the district office employees was taken to hospital. The medical diagnosis was a burnt larynx and respiratory tra

The math of gun ownership...

Probability, P, of being attacked - .00001%

The value of staying alive, V - infinity

Multiply P times V and you get T = $ 1,000,000,000,000.

One gun and bullets, G - $300.

T >>>>>> G.

Get a gun, stupid...

Memo to morons: A gun can be a pistol.

No guesswork with those other than if they are loaded and off safety. They always are. Just as with stupid PF Polaks. They are always stupid. See cymes, kutas, and the monkey.

Villains modify gas guns into firearms.
A 75-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after he shot his friend sitting in her car on a street in Przemyśl. The man admitted to the charge. He told investigators that his behavior was motivated by jealousy.

The incident occurred on Saturday around 11 a.m. in Przemyśl. A 75-year-old man shot a 60-year-old woman sitting in her car with a modified gas weapon.

The woman was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to her head and right arm. Her life is not in danger.
