Gun control in Poland: should Polish people be allowed to own guns?

You can collectively decide to give up your right to self-defense for a variety of reasons.

We didn't. You can defend yourself including with gun. The laws around storing your gun don't negate that.

The laws around storing your gun don't negate that.

Without a gun, even adult men can't defend themselves. This is why cops carry guns.

Why don't you call that grandma and tell her how to do it without a gun?

Why would anyone need to?

You must live in a shítty place.

When I see your "jon357" I feel like I need to throw up. Please don't make it worse by idiotic comments like your last one.

In the hetero world, men attack men with fists, hard objects, and guns. In your world, there are no men so I am not surprised by your question.

Go away...

We only have a couple of Polish members here voicing their opinion on this subject.
My bet is that if a poll was taken today that the overwhelming number of citizens of Poland would prefer to be able to have the right to have a gun in their home.

to have the right to have a gun in their home.

You are absolutely correct.

Poles, better than any other country, know what happens to defenseless people.

To suggest that Poles, brave enough to stand up to the Germans in 1939 and 1944, would voluntarily disarm themselves and beg for their lives when a couple of drunk azzholes came uninvited at 2 am is insanity.

York?

One of the nicest cities in the world. And no gun crime ever. Why? Because guns are rightly unavailable.

It's interesting that the only people here who are promoting easy availability of guns are people who live in a place with a stratospherically high level of gun crime.

Nobody else wants that.

overwhelming number of citizens of Poland would prefer to be able to have the right to have a gun in their home.

But that's exactly what it is. You can apply for a gun permit and you usually get it, but very few people in Poland and Germany do it.

But that's exactly what it is.

So you can go to a gun shop in Poland and buy an AR-15 and a Glock handgun with 1000 rounds of ammo for each of them with that permit ?

It's interesting that the only people here

The only people ?
jon357, you are an ex-pat and speaking volumes for the country of Poland.
You are British, correct, and married your Polish husband to get your Polish citizenship. Pfffft !

In fact, yes. Although I don't know if it's that easy to get a permit for an assault rifle.?

See how you have been indoctrinated and dumbed down by the anti's.
An AR-15 is not an assault rifle.

AR-15 is not an assault rifle.

If not, there shouldn't be a problem. Go to Google and click on gun shop in Warsaw and you will see what is hanging on the wall.

Hey, Euros, let me simplify this for you...
I have a right to buy a gun and have it on me loaded at home or outside.

You don't.

...because your country is fascist, communist, or a prison.

You don't have the right to speak freely because it may hurt somebody's feelings. Same crap as with guns.

We do and I have been doing it with extreme pleasure here and elsewhere.

BTW, private swimming pools should be banned. Somebody, including your kids, can drown.

What a bunch of 1984 morons...

And yet I walk around my house without the need to have a gun on each floor. So take your gun and all that crap and let us live in peace without such extreme fear

A disarmed citizen is just as vulnerable as a disarmed cop. My life is just as dear to me as his life is to him. I can shoot as well as he does.

I am licensed to use lethal force to protect myself as he is. I am as mentally stable as he is.

I can carry a loaded pistol 24/7 just as he can.

You can't.

I am done with this subject.

Polish police usually leaves the gun at the station.

Do the police in Poland wear bullet proof vests like all the police in the U.S.A. do while on duty ?
How about a taser gun and a canister of mace/pepper spray like all the cops in the U.S.A. carry while on duty ?

Plus the 12gauge pump shotgun with 00 buckshot in ever police car,
Do Polish police carry tactical 12 gauge shotguns with military grade ammo in the front seat of their police cars like they do in the U.S.A. ?

Do the Polish police carry military grade assault rifles in the trunk of their police cars like the police do in the U.S.A. ?

You don't understand us and we don't understand you.

Hey, gun-hating Euromorons...tell that woman about your idiotic statistics and why she should not have a gun because she might hurt her kids...Fvcking azholes...

In this case, he didn't have a gun. She did - as the great equalizer...That's what feminists should be pushing, not abortions...

Intruder shot, killed after kicking in door, charging occupant with a knife

I am so proud of her I would hug her and give her a box of ammo for the next nig*er...

The right to own guns: would you support such legislation in Poland?

extra tax for state is always good. You love guns? No problem. Pay tax on guns you have.

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we allow taxing guns, gun haters will make it 1 zillion bucks per gun and the 2nd Amendment is gone.

@Novichok

Europeans and Americans will never agree on guns...... you love them, we hate them..... but as I have said many times before, if I lived in America, I would want one.

The mere fact that I don't want or need one, living in Europe should answer your questions.....
