UK National marrying a Pole, confusion on Visa information

Czesc,

My name is Josh and i will be getting married in August to a beautiful Pole near Wroclaw. We are looking to move back to Poland in the coming years. From what i can see online and our research over the last 6-8months. Once we are wed i can apply for a temporary residency permit before a permanent one. But im not sure if there are any hidden requirements? My government's website is unbelievable and hides most of the important information. Is there anything we should know before making the trip?

Dziekuje, Josh i Oli

It's a funny thing but people married to Poles ( or about to marry them) always have trouble finding information about Poland and their Polish partners are never able to help! Anyway, here is the information you need:

przybysz.duw.pl/en/foreigners-stay/temporary-residence-permits/family-members-of-polish-citizen/

przybysz.duw.pl/en/foreigners-stay/permanent-residence-permits/

It's because most 'official' matters in Poland are made needlessly complicated and the locals are as confused as the foreigners :) Good luck with everything!

It's due to being understaffed with too low wages, just have to keep contacting regarding the matter to show that you will appreciate their paperwork. Too many will don't use communication tools or show their appreciation for the work being done.

Even a little smiley will improve their mood
