Car registration for foreigners - can I authorise my friend to do the paperwork for me?

I bought a car here in poland few months ago and I put the insurance under my name and I've payed tax for purchasing the car and when I was about to register the car under my name something urgent came up I went to my country for a 6 month now this car is parked in one my friend parking, my question is there any ways he can register the car under his name or can some one give me an advice on this,

To register the car under your name you need to be an owner. You have to sell your car to your friend.
