Can anyone give me the jest of what this handwritten document is? if it is a song/poem I'd like to know if it a known song or if it appears to be an attempt at an writing an original.

Found this in stuff my folks left; appears to be a "drinking" song;
It is one of a few versions of a popular folk song. The most known one starts with Pragną oczka pragną. You can google it and find on youtube, too.

interesting that you should make such an observation/comment; but, yes it did.......I have very fond memories of my family singing a great deal at our get togethers but the song that really "nails" me is Upływa szybko życie which was song by my aunts/uncles at the end of every party; even as i write this i get emotional listening to youtube.com/watch?v=65RsH0kjocM
