Several weeks ago, my wife and I were in Greenpoint, Bklyn. at a local Polish street fair.
As soon as I opened my mouth, seeing I was clearly not Polish,a teenage boy roughly about seventeen or so, begins
pelting me with questions in almost impenetrably Polish accented English, "VAJ, YU ARR SPIKINK PAWLISH?" etc...

Rather than being irritated, the young man seemed thrilled that I was able to communicate with him in his native language.

An interview with Rabin Szalom Dow Ber Stambler, born in Israel, in Poland since 2005 when he became the chairman of Chabad-Lubavitch in Polan

He speaks Hebrew , English , Russian , Polish and Yiddish fluently.

His Polish is quite good, especially pronunciation of those difficult swishing sounds. . He makes a lot of mistakes with endings, though, but they don`t hamper communication. .

Inferiority complex-ridden people care because they are insecure and don't know their own culture well. Their knowledge of other cultures is at best superficial. They care a lot about it. No American or Brit really cares about what others think about them.

Ha!!! Strike the table and Iron`s scissors will clank!!! hahaha

Where did I say what others think of you aka us??? I said what others GENERALLY think of anything. Stop taking it so personally coz you are revealing a huge inferiority complex right now.; hahahaha

I said:
to know what others think.

You distorted it into

what others think about them.

The case is closed. Thank you. ):):)
Stop making you-know-what of yourself. )::):)

You wrongly interpreted it as

No, if your understanding was different, it means that you as the English teacher have very poor communication skills in that language.
Your fault, not mine. Ask any native speaker here.

The case is closed.

Here is Joanna Krupa, the most famous Polish model. She was born in Poland but taken to the USA by her parents at the age of 5 spent most of her life there.
She speaks Polish fluently, but a slight trace of American accent is discernible. I also heard one problem with inflexion ending. Instead of "Jestem osobÄ…" she says "Jestem osoba. " :):):)
In this video, the model is talking about child support money for single mothers bereft by their male partners:
