Language / Polish language would look better written in Cyrillic Script? [212]

LOL wrong, you are talking about Old Church Slavonic language. "Day, ut ia pobrusa, a ti poziwai" This is the oldest sentence in Polish written in 1268, Polish uses Latin alphabet from 1268-2017 no matter how much you don't like it.

Life / Boring Life after work in Poland (Bydgoszcz) [29]

@ Vin, Polish guys who are into boxing and martial arts can be a bit full on macho.

Yes Vin, she's right, you might be a bit too much of a poossy for Polish fighters :-) You can try joining salsa or flamenco classes.

Work / Poland - Expat Careers [26]

Ben Shapiro quote.

Glad you recognized that, I think you will have no problem socializing with the local Polish people.

I should have clarified, careers for westerners who do not speak Polish?

Definitely more accurate.

Work / Poland - Expat Careers [26]

does not seem to be a centralized place to search for expat careers.

Because it would be impossible to be. If you are an expat then you are sent abroad by your employer according to the definition of the word "expat". If you want to go abroad and find the job when over there then you are just migrant, I can imagine that "expat" feels better to you but facts don't care about your feelings.

News / Brutal rape by Polish man on homeless woman in Rome [50]

Here in Poland over the last decade the rate of assaults on women has been falling while immigration by Muslims and Africans has been rising.

Excellent observation, we need to keep importing Muslims and Africans and at some point the assaults on women should go down to zero. I wonder why nobody noticed that before.

Are there any updates on this? Do they have a suspect?

Google it.

Food / Herb used in Polish rosol (chicken soup)? [88]

The leaf is 'Natka Pietruszka' in Polish.

No, it's "Natka Pietruszki" in Polish

At least it isn't pierdeczki.

Doesn't matter, no such a word in Polish.

but I wouldn't add dill to rosół itself

I like dill in rosół but then again, I like dill with almost everything.

Language / IS "MURZYN" word RACIST? [686]

I wonder what's the idea behind the logo, anyway.

To me the black kid was symbolizing hot tropical climate where the black people come from and where it's hot you enjoy a lot of ice cream.

Language / IS "MURZYN" word RACIST? [686]

So they don't care that we are not Russians, but for sure they care how we call them in our own language?

Well said.

Oops, I have just googled it and it turns out it was actually Calypso ice cream that I remember

a

Indeed, that logo with the profile of the black kid is something that people born in the 80's will never forget, I liked the half ones, I used to put a stick in it to make an ice cream on a stick, I also did it with the big ones but it could be challenging in a very hot weather.

That logo would most likely be considered racist now in a lost countries like Sweden, sad.

Language / IS "MURZYN" word RACIST? [686]

Murzyn isn't racist

It's not indeed.

Even czarnuch would be more negative.

"Czarnuch" is offensive, unlike "murzyn".

Language / IS "MURZYN" word RACIST? [686]

Sweden, Switzerland or Canada never had colonies but I doubt they would use such language

Of course they wouldn't because "murzyn" doesn't exist in their language, they have their own words that describe a black person that they use.

Language / IS "MURZYN" word RACIST? [686]

I have the book and my kids like it

Which is normal and when I had this book when I was a child I liked it too.

this afternoon I saw a Polish singer with her face painted black pretending to be Imany on prime time TV - that is more shocking to me

It triggered you which is good, the more snow flakes like yourself get triggered by the reality the sooner they get red pilled.

Language / IS "MURZYN" word RACIST? [686]

it's not

Of course it's not, In Poland we call a black person "murzyn" for generations and nothing is going to change it.

You think someone in Africa cares which European country is which? Most people here assume it's part of Russia

That doesn't make any difference, most Polish people have rough idea about African countries too.

UK, Ireland / Polish man jailed for using dog to attack Muslims leaving mosque [45]

Who doesn't enjoy stories of Polish criminals and their aggressive behaviour towards religious temples abroad?

A normal people who don't have a child with an ugly Polish woman so they don't need to escape their sad reality to the online world.
