People get it strait, there are no gifts and no one gives Poland a battery of Patriot missiles so you have nothing to ***** about, you should be glad Poland lets the Americans play with their toys in our sandbox. Read the news carefully first contingent of American troops with their toys that arrived in Poland at the end of May is back at their base in Kaiserslautern Germany with their precious toys intact I might add so the only thing American taxpayers pays for is a very expansive field trip for their boys, I suppose they need a holiday once in a while and some fresh air. Now Poland hosts a second contingent from the same base and yes they also brought their toys with them. In a month’s time they’ll be back home at their base where they belong and let me assure you that like a vigilant mother Uncle Sam will make sure that none of the toys are left behind in the sand box when their kids are done playing. Those are just training exercises and if you have a problem paying for summer camp, complain to your congressman but don’t delude yourself that you’re giving something away.

Why would she? There’s a plethora of trolls like yourself on this very forum; nothing new really. Besides you’re not much of a threat, your ability to express yourself is less than adequate, your material a bit out of touch with reality I’m afraid and antediluvian don’t you think? My dear chap! If you only had time to do your research properly (read a thread or two on this very forum) before making your first posting instead of getting down to business, so to speak; you would have found that the only thing Poles are accused of stealing these days is the unwanted jobs off of hard working English people. If you only took your sweet a** time, your pay off could have been so much more. Perhaps one day you’ll realize that keeping up with current events generates much larger audience, yields greater support, in effect it creates a beehive of activity of like minded individuals working in unison to achieve their goal. Perhaps you might even gain your very own cheering section if your witty enough consisting of more than one individual.

First and foremost it’s not 1960’s as you have stated but 1950 to be exact when first communist propaganda reports appeared making this claim by 1951 they have abounded this claim and you won’t find this kind of reports in official press. To give credibility to the report they often quoted the supposed confession of American pilot Robert Hilard who was shut down over Korea and allegedly confessed to taking part in air drop of colorado beetle over East Germany, which brings us to a second point even the communist propaganda machine at the time was not stupid enough to make a direct claim as to American involvement over Polish territory at the time. The media campaign at the time aimed to force the use of pesticide like Polish made azotox or Soviet produced HCH not to mention gamex or DDT to which your average uneducated “potato farmer” as you have put it was reluctant to use and once sarcastic jokes started to be wildly circulated among the population they abandoned this claim. Exactly, who were those people and what was the motivation to insight the violence. Your own brethren were in power and did nothing to prevent those unfortunate incidents. It really should give you something to think about. Decent folks were encouraged to emigrate only to be replaced by Implants who had no ties to Poland therefore would not care. On contraire, Poland was hell for all of the decent Jews, wounds still fresh and plenty of bad memories of Nazi horror recently experienced, devastation all around, nothing really to go back to. 3.5 million you are talking about was at the height of communism in Poland 1970’s at which point people already had to come to terms with the reality of life. Hell you had to be a member of the party if you wanted to be a principal of some provincial elementary school otherwise you could not have that job, same for any job in a leadership role from director of some factory to God knows what, not to mention the fact of having an access to better schools for your children, perhaps study abroad or even travel. Yes lot have took the advantage of the perks’ that system offered, well after the retribution and purges of what was deemed to be a dangerous element capable of toppling the New Communist regime, but we are talking about the period right after the war when all those retributions of the AK members took place, so yes the upper echelon were Jewish and Polish communist membership minuscule.

BTW the great numbers you sited somehow still manege to stand against the system and participated in genera strikes, showing real commitment on their part to the system.

At its height the Nazi membership numbered over 2 million members. Were all of them committed to the Ideology or simply signed on to enhance their career opportunities or perhaps even keep an existing job. Being a member and firmly believing in the Ideology are two different things. Being a member opened an opportunity for you which otherwise you could never have which reflects on the reality of the system you live in, not the beliefs you have. Were they all Nazi nuts, of course not only few at the very top and those were the ones that did most damage to the society as a whole, same in Poland during the communist rule.

It’s Irrelevant to this topic “Wikipedia's Holocaust article to include genocide of Poles” worthy of its own thread but mucking those statements won’t change that facts. It's still a point of resentment between the two, Poles and Jews; as long as it is ignored it will remain just that.
