hat is what you claim. Do you have any evidence to support your claim?

You have no idea how many times I was accused of being PiS or PO supporter if I dare to disagree with such people. They ostentatiously and arrogantly use to call supporters of smaller political movement "freaks".

PiS at the very least try to fix it.

I already mentioned PiS agenda in details, nothing positive about such politics at all. In the times when western Europe is lost in socialist decadency Polish politicians dare to follow their paths instead taking advantage by building economic powerhouse. It is worse than a crime, it is a mistake as French diplomat Talleyrand used to say.

cheerleader groups

5% of voters of the last elections. Those people refuse to submit Poland being endlessly some kind of golem of Germany, the US or Russia. Your Poland beg Germany for money, beg US for visas, beg Russia for remain of the plane and beg Israel wherever they can change its own laws. Now PiS want to keep the Poles down, if the state is a beggar then its citizens should be as well, so you have 500+ and other socialist inventions.

his forum is but a little and imperfect widow for those who do not speak Polish into Poland.

They will learn much more from such discussion than from anything else.

YOUR LIST is skewed because everything to you is socialist

I'm sorry to burst your bubble.

a large chunk of Poland's society who vote them hold those views and some progressive LGTB crap do not wash with them.

So to justify moving PiS to the center of the political spectrum you have to:
- bring on their supposed conservatism (questioned by their own conservative voters)
- mention LGTBXYZ agenda
- provide whole history of implementation of cultural Marxism in western Europe

PiS agenda:
- bribing voters by their own money
- establishing more and more new taxes
- nationalization of the industry
- like other parties expanding bureaucratic apparatus
- creating more and more useless regulations (true EU mode) that they themselves fail to follow or even understand
- bringing on state financed Soviet/Chinese style monumental projects without even making any economical studies to justify such decisions
- even their Minister of Culture is a quite of a cultural Marxist

So it appears that PiS tried so much to become a socialist party just disgusting homosexuals and western Marxists make them look a bit of a centrists. Not really...

Partia Wolnosc - some BS I never heard about.

You live, and you learn, right? We will never reach any ideal solution but at least we should try to march in the right direction!

I'm talking about, tell that sentence to the rest of your fellow Poles, who took to the streets in the thousands to protest the PiS!!!

What are you talking about. Very few people care about this political quarrel. It has just two planes, personal and external:
- overtaking state founded posts in administration (central and regional) and state controlled companies
- this is the part of the battle between Germany and the US/Jews.

Nice vision but false. None of the young and educated with minimum of dignity would like to serve as marionette of the government. Like for example Przyłębska or all of their MP's forced to vote against Poland if order comes.

You're some of a cultists? Strangely skewed your list.

I assume that if my list would be skewed indeed, then you would quickly provide your own instead going ad personam.

I wonder why PiS would do it. Is Poland running out of people?

Still many people live outside of Poland, hard to find workers if you offer low salaries. So they want to bring them from Muslim post-Soviet space, India or Philippines. Those people are not lazy Arabs or Somalis, they will work but still government have to be cautious. Of course our people don't trust the government because they don't believe their competence.

I read that PiS just dropped the retirement age

PiS want to replace loyalist of the former goverments to their own. Nothing more, really...

Wolnosc - the one and only party in Poland (above 1% of support ) that officially support capitalism and free market. They got almost 5% during the last parliamentary elections. This is probably the best result of party with such profile in the whole Europe. :)

News / Israel opposing potential new Polish law to criminalise term 'Polish death camps' [1538]

Everything depends from Polish government . If they don't change law according to the wishes of scammers no court will give any undeserved money to the Jewish organizations. Neither we are obligated to invade Iran... All this game of words is pointless, because scenario is written by the Jews. Diplomatic relations should be reduced to necessary minimum, don't invite them here, don't fly to Israel, don't comment provocative statements, stop giving them control over our museums, stop financing Jewish cultural events and handing taxpayers money to Jewish filmmakers. This is all up to Polish government.

News / Tusk turning his back to idea about Intermarium (New Commonwealth), seeing only EU as future for Poland [119]

Tusk is today in Serbia`s Belgrade. We would see- as brat or nebrat.

He does work for Angela, so figure out.

He learned Serbian and spoke Serbian during entire news conference. He spoke in Serbian with Serbian president.

He always struggled to speak foreign languages, probably just read diplomatic message written by his advisors. In practice he lead government that officially recognized Kosovo.

He praised Serbia`s independence

So if you are bored with you independence then join the EU. Then your government need to adopt millions of the EU directives and most likely update Serbian constitution.

Life / 3 reasons why you hate Poland. [1049]

Cracovia has a point. Although this is wrong to reduce your attitude towards police only to their policy towards football fans. This policy is just wrong, media, football federation and football clubs are also partly to blame. A citizen cannot be treated automatically as a dangerous suspect. Many of them aren't too bright and treated like that they start to identify with this role. The point is to punish criminals properly and not to treat any social group as a potential criminals.

News / Dalai Lama says: "POLAND HAS RETAINED ITS SPIRIT" [77]

Is that too much to ask for? I don't think so.

Chinese establishment don't believe that this is their final goal. Neither I do.

he is simply taking the middle path. it is an important aspect of buddism

If one is a pushover then Buddhism seems to be appropriate religion.

Maybe he wanted to say 'Poland has retained its spirits'. How does the Dalai Lama know what the Polish spirit is anyway?

There is no sense to dig into some deeper sense of this comment. This is usual diplomatic BS. In Somalia he would talk about Somali spirit.

I assume you are aware of the "Free Tibet" campaign.
Or are you suggesting they are better off under China's regime?

I rather don't follow developments of movements which objectively cannot succeed. However I assume that vast majority of people who openly identify themselves with this campaign live outside of China.

I think that China have a chance to move forward. I see no such perspectives for Tibet which would realize theoretical concepts of Dalai Lama.

Norman Davies described the previous system in Poland as a spider web of unlawfulness and mediocrity. Korwin-Mikke is noting that this spider web had not given up after 1989 - it has simply changed the name and appearance.

Let be realistic, no regime is willing to surrender its power. Whether this is king, dictator, political party or democratic establishment, this doesn't really matter. Enemies of ruling class wont be tolerated. Do you think that the EU would accept results of pan-European and democratic referendum which would create one great Catholic monarchy? Of course not, the will of people would be ignored. The EU doesn't even allow people to decide about shape of this supposedly democratic newborn empire.

When Ziobro wanted to be Attorney General and put the mobster behind bars, the entire party was pictured as fascist. (while it is in fact socialist, pro-benefits et c.)

At least Kaczynski is trying to put them in jail. Not that he's dome much good to the economy, being a silly socialist. But PO is not a capitalist party either.

Anti-PiS propaganda should not be confused with real intentions of this party. Kaczynski want to earn political capital eternally chasing bad guys. He need them like a fresh air, they cannot disappear or be imprisoned.

I 100% agree about PO, there is a lot of people in this party who lacking elementary knowledge about liberalism. Those few with proper theoretical background care about their own particular business anyway, thus they support pan European socialist superstate.

Life / Things that annoy you in Poland. [114]

It will take time to transform poland to western standards.

If the west only had any decent standards...

The only thing that will not change is : corruption.
Political parties in all the EU countries are like mafia.

Well said.

We were asked. Dont you remmember the EU referendum?

No, question was not asked openly from obvious reasons. Why not ask them openly, after all they are supposed to share your opinion, so there is no risk.

It happend and there is no sensible way we can turn back.

You wish!

Obviously not.

I suggest to ask Polish citizens whether they want resign from independence. Why not to ask them openly if you think that this is their opinion?

Oh yes I see.

During the old 'good' days they always used to say what 'we really need'.

Today you want to say what 'we really need'.

Instead to write about your opinion, you speak about 'Polish opinion'. Indeed a lot have changed!/ sarcasm

History / Kashubians are nation in Poland? [124]

I"ve met some of them and they told me they were Germans and spoke German to me too.

Maybe they were simply expelled Germans. I live in Gdansk and have Kashubian roots myself but I never meet such German Kashubians.

Kashubians are nation in Poland? or a Polish dialect?

You need to go to some Kashubian pub and start shouting that Kashubians aren't Poles. Then you will learn for sure :)

History / Polish-German alliance. [489]

Well...but so it is...

Not exactly. Pseudo-elites give them opportunity to speak out when they feel that their option win. Then they hide behind "will of people". Otherwise they don't ask people or ignore their choices. This is elementary knowledge about representative democracy in action.

Hey lets see if you are saying that as my windmills are gushing electricty?

Do you suggest that I'm wrong?

You know lesser...take that to your country men who were and are to a huge majority happy to became/be EU-members...

You cannot blame ignorant crowd because they are ignorant, this would be a waste of time. How on earth such people are allowed to decide about crucial state issues, here is a problem.

You are not trying to paint an image of a sullen, brooding Pole sitting alone in his dark corner glaring over at Germany, mumbling into his beard??? LOL

Sorry dear friend but ironic comment, this the best thing that could come from my keyboard when I see you telling me (among others) that I should be grateful because in your opinion German state did the most to impose on Poland this disgusting regime based in Brussels. I should be grateful because some foreign states financed huge propaganda campaign aimed to attract (not convince! feel the difference!) ignorant crowds to back this flawed project? No thanks! :)

History / Polish-German alliance. [489]

So would such an alliance be a bad or a good thing, opinions?

Even if such alliance would win the war I think that Poland would be weaker. At best I think that Hitler would annex Silesia and whole Pomerania, Poland would lost access to the Baltic Sea. Poland would be expanded in the east, gain more Ukrainian lands. Population of Ukrainians would be too big to swallow them, Ukrainian nationalism would be on rise. This effect would seriously destabilize the state. Such state would be just a German proxy.

However I think that Hitler was insane to such extend that this could turn even worse for Poland.

To put it frankly, they may have agreed on boycotts of Jewish goods, and I can also see Dmowski passing purity laws, but I can't ever imagine Dmowski setting up extermination camps.

Because Dmowski was not a racist! He objected the Jews from other reasons. I see very little of similarities between NSDAP and SN. Name some if you can.

Not really he had quite a good shot at defeating Russia, he failed but thats not really Russias doing, mostly it was his own fuck ups.

It was great opportunity to defeat Soviet Union and restore Russian monarchy. Of course territorially smaller, without Central Asia, Caucasus, Baltic states and perhaps even eastern Ukraine. However Hitler was too deluded to think rationally. If someone else would run Germany...

News / Is NORD STREAM dangerous for Poland's natural enviroment? [516]

That is wrong. This 50% is owned by "private businessmans" from Ukraine.

Yes, I confused structure of ownership with UkrGazEnergo company (50% RosUkrEnergo, 50% Naftogaz). These are all political structures. Anyway, this don't change much.

The point is such localization hasn't been done yet, and doing them was not included in Nord Stream project.

Thus I have wrote before that such strategy might even block this project. But this is technologically absolutely possible.

I see that you are natural enviroment expert as well .... What is sure alternativie rout is less dangerous from this point of view. What is more it is cheaper and doesn't cause so many political tensions.

I'm not an expert but I'm aware that we live in XXI century. This is absolutely possible to localize and avoid dangerous areas. Incredible amount of stupidity would be needed to put a pipe directly on some barrel of poison!

To be honest you pretend to be politician I remember you proclaiming political program.

I have some vision of our state but I'm not a politician.
