Torun and Lublin are very worth a visit.

I was in Katowice again, with the most cars and the fewest traffic jams among the large cities in Poland, perhaps because the 10-lane highway runs almost through the city center.

China won't even talk directly to Poland

And that's where you might be wrong. Poland has good relations with China and doesn't recognize Taiwan as a separate state which only improves these contacts. However, unofficial contacts with Taiwan are maintained.

Holidays in Poland, is it still worth coming here?
I have been on vacation in Poland for a few days and I admire the development of infrastructure in this country. Yesterday I was with my young son at the Auschwitz extermination camp. He wanted to go. As tragic as it is, it is something every anti-democrat in the world should see. Regardless of nationality or religion. In private conversations with Poles, I was struck by the political differences that ran even through families. This is not good. I'm going back soon to continue the rest of my holiday at the German seaside, I know I'll rest there in peace, because the Polish seaside is crowded after all.
