Bud,flipping properties in Poland is usually not a good idea as you have to pay very high tax(I forgot how much like 19 to 23%) if you sell before 5 years until you reinvest in 1 or 2 years (I forget too,there is a loophole in that too with calendar years).

Also beware of taking advice from every tom dik & harry here.Ask for there business/practical experiences and not google expertise.

Sorry man if I offended you in any way,I didnt mean to at all.I was just telling you with my experience as a non Polish person visiting Poland for the last 19 years every month.There are some crazy laws in Poland and as a foreigner one will not get them and learn by paying a price financially.

Real estate is big almost in every developed or developing country,I live by the shore area where summer rental houses can be over 50k USD a month also,even in Poland there are tiny shiet hole flats that they ask 45k Pln a sq m to buy and rents went down in around 2008/9/10 but are now coming back up.As a foreign realtor esp with no knowledge of Polish it will be very hard for you personally until you open an office and hire Polish speaking agents(in fact there are plenty I know in Warsaw from Ukraine,Armenia,Russia etc).I can never imagine a non English speaking or even English speaking Pole will ever trust a foreigner to rent his flat for a comission.Good luck any way in your venture.

Having a house in a country is good when you are young ,growing up kids and can take care of everything,but as you get older you have to downsize an,We wish to downsize and also look for ammenties nearby.We (Me & Wifey) live in a 2700sq ft house on an acre of a land but only due to low taxes(we appeal every year) and being near the ocean for kids to come with friends,is lots of work esp snow plowing and mowing lol with mexicans in short supply its getting expensive.But yes living in a flat like we do in Poland has its own charm with restaurants,shows almost 24 hrs and yes NO BIRDS,except there use to be lots of piegons in centre of Warsaw but not any more ( I hear the reason is vietnamese moving in lol)

In early 2000s when I use to smoke I was asked in Poland for FIRE,initially I was like WTF?then I realised it meant lighter or a match to light a smoke.In US we say :"Can I have a light please",I dont know whats right though.

we still talk about it in family and joke that in todays date you would think someone is attacking you and if you are armed you will pull out your weapon before deciding who to fire at esp when they would just say "FIRE PLEASE"

Why would you want to purchase a company?? Its a big racket going on in Poland about that and people are making tons of money buying and selling companies.People buy them mostly to take loans.I had 2 which I never used and Tax dept came to me for not filling taxes and when I wanted to sell people started bidding and sold them for 40k pln and 25k pln.All they had to do was file taxes with 00 declaration and probably take loans etc on it cuz they were over a decade older.

Money in labour is still in the USA.Most visa abusers are labour workers.They cant make that kinda money doing house cleaning/construction anywhere else in the world.
