Well let's say this - I have never met any Pole Of any political persuasion,either here or in any diaspora who would dismiss Katyn As a drop in the bucket.

I also know a few poles who are pro Russia but none who would take a morning to vigourously defend it and all its 20th and 21st century crimes on the Internet to a bunch of strangers

No - a peaceful Europe is in the interests of the US. Basically doubles the size of the market for US companies, in the 50s this might of been Coca-Cola or General Motors, these days it is Amazon, Google and Apple. What is more ending the global ambitions of the UK. Germany and France also is better for US security.

There is of course a long history of drugs being withdrawn - even Tacitus says here that vaccines 30 years ago were a lot less safe than now. When I was born it was just after Thalidomide had been withdrawn - but science moved on, too late for the people who had been told it was harmless.

Being sceptical about compulsory vaccines and the huge vested interests that lie behind that is not the same as believing the earth is flat.

I don't know what is behind the huge rise in autism/adhd/aspergers etc but it was a valid exercise to look at all angles - pesticides, vaccines, pollution, radiation etc as such a rapid increase can not only be explained by genetics.

The issue to me is not whether vaccines are overall good - they are. It is instead whether parents should be forced to vaccinate their kids and the hysterical reaction of calling them criminals and murderers if they decide not to. You can listen to medical science but can someone force you to do stuff just because he wears a white coat and stayed a couple of years longer in college ?

For sure some of the existing vaccines in use will turn out to have serious side effects. That has alwas been the case and new issues will alays crop up with drugs but once billion dollar profits are involved its difficult fo doubts to get a fair hearing. Asbestos and cigarettes were once considered harmless.
