Notice period when terminating a work contract in Poland as an employee - four weeks or one full month?

Hi, I have a very simple question about the notice period I have to give to my employer. I've been working with the company over 6 months but less than 3 years so my notice period is one month - but is it actually one full month or four weeks/30 days? If I file my resignation on June 10, will July 10 be my last day at work or will it be July 31? I understand the employer may prefer to have one full month's notice to keep things simple, but what is the law in this case? Can they force me to work for one full month after giving the notice on a legal basis?

If it refers to one calendar month then its one month. if you talk to them and agree it then they would probably not have a problem if you left earlier (though of course you would lose a few days pay). Have you got unused holiday ? if so then that probably solves your problem

Hello,

Hope you can help me.
I apply my resignation on 10th july, I will do 3 years in company in 20th August. HR are saying the notice period should be 3 months and not 1 month, but I only will complete 3 years in 20 August. This is legal, should be on this way?

Thanks

It all depends what it says in your contract. But the one month notice is counted from the end of the month in which you give notice, so if you give notice 10th July, it is a month after the end of July, so you finish work on 31st August.
