Goodbye Sunday Shopping in Poland - Hello Electoral Reform [246]
Sometimes yes, and especially in winter when many other attractions (zoo, park, kolejka) are either closed or forlorn looking - it gets them out the house, there are plenty of kids activities in big malls (even if open now they will be unviable) , it's warm, clean, there are toilets and plenty of place to park and if we want to buy a small toy for good behaviour then we can do so. By the way teenagers like malls - they can shop and meet girls there.
Yesterday I took one for a swim and one for a freezing walk in the forest - hope that satisfies your good parenting criteria
You don't need to visit Ikea every weekend unless you happen to be building or buying a place - like millions of young hard working Polish families are at the he moment. Then you will probably visit a lot - people don't have cash to do a years furtnuture shopping at one stroke.
For me it's about freedom to do what you want with your spare time - we pay taxes and work hard, why can't we spend weekends how we feel like it ?
