News / Footie hooligan punch-up thwarted in Poland [47]

I chose to restate it in other words so maybe jolly would get it.
America's riots were for civil rights, Polands had nothing to do with being civil or for rights.
Make it a life ban for all who have been convicted of rioting.
My guess is that in the near future these games will have eye retina scanners at them.
You will have to look into them before entry and all who have been convicted will be denied access.
Every country could share information (retina's) to eliminate the trouble makers at their games.
Problem solved.

That's great johnny who else will get the retina information which will undoubtedly be sold off.

Oh it is already being sold off.
Homeland has your eye retina, blood type, your social security number and your D.N.A.
It is all in one big data base for law enforcement, health care providers, insurance companies, ect.
All your private information is now public so when you get in such trouble law enforcement have it so the courts can
put you on a grid.
The more times arrested the higher up the grid you go depending on the crime.
This is what determines your jail time or prison time.
These hooligans after the second or third time arrested for rioting may be spending some serious time in the pokey.
"Think Time" is a real deterant to such non sense when all that goes on your record for future employment.
Start making examples of these punks by enforcing the laws already in place only with heftier consequences.
I wonder why after sporting events in America that draw well over 100,000 people such problems seldom arise.

Work / Does Poland welcome overseas workers as much as the UK does? [34]

Why would anybody want to go and live in Poland through choice?

Because it hasn't been tainted with non christain, non white, progressive thinking that has put England in the toilet.

They hate non christians, non whites and gays

Now there is a place I want to live and raise my children !

Horrible backward people who still live in the dinosaur age.

No no no no, the horrible people are the ones that have destroyed their country with their progressive thinking at the expense of the dinosaurs who built it.

I think Poland is fantastic for keeping the moral MAJORITY in countrol of their country and not letting the immoral
minorities take over just because they scream the loudest.

The Poles that chose to come and live in England are all cliquey

England is a cesspool compared to Poland. England is a "has been".
Only the Muslim's see England as a utopia as Poland is smart enough to understand and deny their motives. (just wait and see)
The progressive's have destroyed England.
I bet you are a non christain, non white and gay.
No wonder you have such a shallow opinion of Poland........you are jealous that there is a country that refuses to bow to
Islam, immoralality, and progressive thinking.
God Bless Poland !

Life / Why are Polish so conservative and religious? [240]

Poles become so much less religious when they themselves become overseas workers

Do you have anything to base such a statement on Harry or is just your personal opinion ?

What does church attendance have to do with a persons "Faith", Harry ? (Your grasping here)
No doubt the Priests and Pastors and Reverends like a packed house to fill that collection plate but
church attendance has nothing to do with your religion or faith.
I have no idea why you, jon and Roger (self admitted agnostics) try to promote this false teaching about
religion when you are clueless to what christianity is all about.
We can't talk about Islam faith on this forum yet the Catholic church seems to be fair game.
We can't draw cartoons about Alah because it offends the Muslims faith.
But the Muslim faith also is anti homosexuality yet this forum allows homosexuality to be promoted which offends Islam.
So if the moderators are going to let this thread stray like this then lets throw everything out there.
which described Britain in a recent statement as a "godless civilisation"
So in other words, cesspool, is a fitting word for it.
Just shows me how powerful Satan is to have captured the minds and souls of a whole country.
Even the illiterate lost tribes in South America believe in a supreme being.

Language / Busha and JaJa [140]

If Americans want to use the word Busia, good luck to them; they can use absolutely any word they want.

THANK YOU for your permission British jon !
My grandma made the best ever however with the kilo of butter and kilo of sour cream that she added I just had to quit eating them when I got older.

My sister didn't quit in her old age and now if she was an inch taller she would be perfectly round.
Our Polish family uses many Polish/American slang words that are not known in Poland.
Most of them originated in the factories of Detroit in the 40's & 50's.

History / World War II Stories by Polish survivors [5]

Merged: Celebrating V - Day in Poland & Sharing Memories

This only happened 70 years ago.
The older Polish and Jewish people have so many memories and first hand stories.
I can't begin to fathom the 60 to 80 million people that died because of it.
Are their any older Poles here that can share a first hand story with us ?
World wide is taking a moment of silence today (and tomorrow for some) in memory of all who suffered and
gave the ultimate sacrifice.

We are so blessed to have missed that era.
Thank you Lord for all those who sacrificed for our freedoms.
I ran across this story today on AP of a holocaust survivor.

To get back on thread here..............
Back to the first post of this thread started three years ago.

In America, gay marriage is legal in several states.

Maybe six or less ?

We have hundreds of openly gay politicians

Not that I am aware of Mike, maybe a hundred total in this country.

Most polls show that the majority of Americans support legalizing gay marriage

Not true Mike, it has been voted down more times then not.

In fact, many experts predict that Obama will legalize gay marriage during his second presidential term.

You wre wrong again Mike because he has not so far so "who" are these "legal experts".

My great state of Michigan is planning to legalize brothels and prostitution next year to reduce crime.

That hasn't happened in the last three years since you posted that and there are no future plans to do it either.

I visit Florida and women sunbathe topless topless wearing thongs (South Beach and Miami Beach).

I was just there a few weeks ago (three years after this first post) during spring break and while there were a few topless in select areas of all college students, 95% had covered up breasts. So another lie.

The GoTopless Movement is planning to have 1 million women march topless to Washington D,C, on August 21st to encourage women sunbathing topless everywhere in USA.

Again, it never developed.

But in Poland these girls would be arrested or fined for public indecency

As they would here in the United States Mike.

When will Poland become a liberal secular country ?

Hopefully never Mike.
'MikeUSA' is gone now from posting here but a prime example of the secular liberal lies that are being promoted here on
the Polish Forum to destroy what the Polish moral culture stands for.
(Most likely guest MikeUSA is still here only under another user name, anyone want to guess who ?)
A prime example how liberals brainwash our youth to their "progressive thinking" with lies.
Poland is conservative and religious because it is the right thing to be to stay strong.
Hopefully Mike is living his fantasy bliss in secular France or England.

Love / Polish girlfriend told me we cant have sex because I'm not religious [40]

Just a question, have you considered doing it the proper way and putting a ring on her finger first or
are you just looking for some recreational sex for sport and exercise leaving her feeling like a slut ?
Do you really love and respect her ?
She obviously is aware of sexually transmitted desceases and after six times of using a rain coat
you are going to want to do it JUST that one time in the heat of passion and they call that being a father.
Are you ready for that ?
Don't let your little head do the thinking for you, use your big head for that.
There are many ways to relieve your sexual frustrations with out doing the actual deed.
This girl is very smart and you should respect that if you really love her and quit thinking just about yourself.

News / Poland have the 3rd best Education System of Europe [49]

in the UK religious education classes are mandatory, while in Poland they are optional.

Harry are you saying that religion classes are optional in the Catholic schools in Poland ?
That is very interesting Harry, who would have thought that about English schools. Good for them.
Here in the United States of America ALL religion classes have been banned in the public schools thanks
to the liberals. Ever since they demmanded that this country has gone down hill.
The private schools can do as they wish.

News / Poland have the 3rd best Education System of Europe [49]

Does that explain why there are 13,447 British students at Oxford university and only 207 Polish students?@ Harry

Money talks as usual. The pampered always get the best which doesn't always mean they are the most brilliant.

Arrogance is the biggest problem: "I don't know, I don't care", that's their attitide.

You nailed it buddy.
Same way here in the United States.
Attitude is, "why should I care, it has no effect on my life to make a difference."
They are clueless where Poland is located or who the vice president of The United States is but can
tell you who Michael Jordon is and how to get a free government cell phone.
I am totally impressed with the Polish public education system over the United States by far.
Universities may be a different story because I don't think Poland has the private sector that donates millions upon millions of USD every year (tax write offs) to build and operate them like the United States does.

News / Presidential elections and debates 2015 Poland [472]

Should such people be disenfranchised as some frustrated expats would like?

They use that desperately as their meaningless main 'crutch' relentlessly as if carries some weight here.
I live here, you don't so my words trump yours even if I am not Polish and you are but weren't born here. Pfft !

That material has been worn out long ago.
When I get my Polish citizenship because of ancestry I will be proud to vote in Poland.
And guess who I would vote for in 2015.

I'd never dream of voting in any Australian election, despite having the right to do so.

HA, so you admit to being an Aussie citizen and not a Brit ! Finally it comes out.
See, I knew there was some good in you.

People can't be loyal to two heads of state at the same time.

I have a dual citizenship so what about that ?

News / Poland have the 3rd best Education System of Europe [49]

I wonder which Polish university would reject the son or daughter of a Polish PM or president.

Same in the U.S.A. Harry as all the filthy rich Congressmen's children get student loans from the government
to attend just about any college of their choice as dad and mom are alumni.
The loop hole is that Congressmen's children ARE NOT required to pay those loans back like the less
fortunate kids are until the day they die.
Those loans of the less fortunate if not pad back will be taken out of their social security when they turn 65 until it is paid back.

So wealth has a lot to do with who and who does not get entry to a major university rather than brilliance.
Chelsey Clinton is a prime example of this. Yikes ! lol

Oxford and Cambridge place heavy, heavy emphasis on the person rather than the background.

And M.I.T. is just the opposite so what experience do you have with American universities ?
M.I.T.'s emphisis is on putting a guy on mars not how to fold a napkin properly.

and because he's a professor, he's untouchable.

Kind of like jon here on HIS Polish Forum.

Who mentioned anything about American universities?@teargas

Well I thought it only fair since you mentioned English universities plus the original
thread mentioned

Poland have the 3rd best education of the ENTIRE Western World.

The entire Western World is not limited to England and Germany as much as some want it to be.
The Polish high school students that have immigrated to the U.S. that I have met seem much much further ahead of the American students especially in math and manners.

It's certainly not impossible in Poland to teach those truths, now anyway, long may it stay that way.@ Harry

Amen Harry and jon wondered what I meant by Poland still being a 'pure country.'
You just nailed it.

The US are way ahead from K to 5. After that they quickly fall behind.

I don't disagree but why do you think that is ?
My guess is all the extra curriculum programs available in America with helicopter mom's.
After 5th grade in America a kid has so much to choose from in fun activities.
I wouldn't think the Polish kids have access to so many fun extra curriculum options to waste time with
so they can apply themselves to academic's.

USA, Canada / 10 things that show you are Polish [24]

I've been here for nearly 20 years and have never once seen anybody dancing the Polka.

So that statement makes you (one person) an authority ?
Here in America when the Polish people put on a Polish Festival they ALWAYS have a dance floor
with Polka music and Polka dancing. ALWAYS ! (And more then enough beer)
Same with any Polish wedding that you go to.
You are not from here, probably have never been to The United States of America nor ever will, so
as you said,

Perhaps this thread would be more accurately titled 10 things that show you think you're Polish but aren't.

Very few Poles would consider a person to be Polish just because one of his great-grandparents was Polish.

Who told you that !
Whoever did is lying to you.

News / When will Poland take on the EURO? [47]

You heard right STProp.
Cash is the biggest nightmare for the governments.
Cash is becoming obsolete.
You can't rent a hotel room with cash, rent a car with cash, get a private utility like satelite or phone service with cash and the list goes on.

You now write a personal check and it is run thru an electronic scanner and handed back to you
with the funds from your account taken out instantly.
Credit cards tell them what you bought, when you bought it and where you bought it.
They know what kind of food you eat, how much gas you put in your car, who your insurance company is, have access to all your health records and that list goes on.

The Euro (if it survives) will soon fall into this digital CONTROL factor also.
Poland will go digital before it goes to the failing Euro.
Everyone in developed countries are just a number.......... soon to come to your home town.
When they put that chip under your skin so they can just scan it for you to pay for all your expenses from food to your health care records, remember what prophesy said over 2000 years ago about the "Mark of the Beast' in the last days.

Love / My Love Story: my 'good' family vs her 'bad' family in Poland [25]

The Reb's advise to you.
First it sounds like you are still attached to your mom's umbilicus cord.
You need to cut that before even thinking of getting marreid.
Man up and stand your ground.
Then pick up the Hand Book of Life when you have such quandaries.
In this case open it to Matthew 10:5-6.
Your answer lies there.
If Daddy & Mommy still insist on instilling their guilt trip on you and expect you to live up to their expectations instead of letting you live your own life instead of theirs.............move to Australia with your new wife and live happily ever after so they can't make your life a hell on earth.

That will be $50 USD for your therapy session today. :-)

Feedback / Member warning system to prevent abuse / spam / off-topic posts [145]

If you falsely ask 'is it true' - admin can falsely ask 'is it true that you are a child abuser'?

No it wasn't falsely asked jon, I exposed you for being the owner of this forum and the administrators job is just to keep the website up and running for you.

We all know your game of charades now.
You can read our private messages, you can intimidate us with warnings, you can CONTROL this forum by posting any damn thing you want, delete any damn thing you want, have your personal little Brit gang to back your personal opinions as god's truth.......so no Pal, I did not falsely ask. Got it !

My thread (that you closed so conveniently) should have read: "Is the Ownner of the Polish forum Polish ?"
Well you should ban yourself with five warnings for ABUSE just to make things fair.
Have you noticed how things quiet right down and no one attacks or argues when you are not here ????
You are the problem jon but since it is your little game you party on son at the expense of the great country of Poland.

Johnny Reb ~

No - jon357 doesn't have any moderating or administrative rights on this forum, and he isn't the owner of course

Life / Why are Polish so conservative and religious? [240]

only 39.1 of the 82% of Poles the RCC thinks should be in church on a Sunday@Harry

Church attendence is not what gets you to heaven Harry.
Church "attendence" statistics only prove church attendence is down.
It doesn't mean that Catholics renounced their religion or religious beliefs.

The number of churchgoers in Poland has nothing to do with the issue debated@Vox.

I was waiting for someone to make that point as Harry has been using that statistic for a rubber crutch for to long now. It is meaningless.

I come from a country (Brazil) that long ago lost it morality and now is drowned into corruption and perversion in a Caligula style orgy@Levi-BR

I come from the United States of America and once the liberal progressive thinking minority took religion out of our school systems, (which is what America was founded on) immorality and lack of manners is now out of control.

That is why the Polish are so conservative and religious is because of their strong faith in rightousness.

Life / Why are Polish so conservative and religious? [240]

No, but going every Sunday is what the RCC requires

The thread is not about what the right hand of the Pope requires Harry, the thread is WHY are the Polish
so religious.
That is because of their faith in the trinity.
Maybe that is where you are getting mixed up.

It's not me who says going to Sunday mass every week is the necessary minimum: it's your church.

Again Harry, you are simply 'baiting' by going off thread.
The churches rules have nothing to do with a persons personal relationship with Christ and his faith Harry.
I pray to my God, not to my church.

Love / My Love Story: my 'good' family vs her 'bad' family in Poland [25]

chapter eight of the gospel of St John.@Harry

Jesus said to her, "Go now and leave your life of sin.
Jesus did not condone what the woman had done Harry.

You're even better than Satan at quoting Sciupture.@Polonius to Harry

What do you expect from a non believer.

Are you going to ignore the words of the son of your god and judge her?@Harry

We are not judging her Harry, the fiance said his parents would. Are YOU trying to bait us ?

But surely as a christian you show both tolerance and forgiveness, just as Jesus did, don't you?@ Harry

My name is Johnny Reb, not Jesus so it isn't quite as easy for me sometimes Harry. But I try my best.
I personally wouldn't judge the sister if that is what you are trying to (bait) insinuate.

Perhaps you might like to remember Matthew chapter seven too.@Harry

Thanks for reminding me Harry as it descibes you to a "T" where it says "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs.

Concordance:
"Teaching should be given in accordance with the spiritual capacity of the learners. (dogs)
The unclean dogs of the streets were held in low esteem."
The girl admittedly came from a bad family so with no moral fetchin' up so what do you expect from her?
She was only doing what she knew, just like you.
Now your turn Harry.
Perhaps you would like to quote us what 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 for us.

Life / Why are Polish so conservative and religious? [240]

The reason the Polish are so religious is because of how they have been brought up in the Catholic FAITH.
Your off thread baiting is pure nonsense Harry.quote by Harry

In order to be a member of the Catholic church one has to meet the minimum requirements of the RCC. One of "the very necessary minimum[s] is going to church every Sunday.

quote by Harry

It's not me who says going to Sunday mass every week is the necessary minimum: it's your church.

quote by The Reb

Harry, who told you such nonsense.

quote by Harry

Would you like me to link to the Vatican website?

Not necessary Harry.
Since you like statistics so much why don't YOU show us on your Vatican website the statistics
on how many Catholics have been excommunicated from the Catholic church for not meeting the minimum requirement of not going to church every sunday.
You have been suggesting that the Polish are not religious and they are nolonger Catholic because they don't attend church EVERY sunday.
Could you show us where it says that on your Vatican website by any chance also ?
Oh, and you don't need a "proper computer" to go to the Vatican website, your's should work just fine. lol
