Love / Observations and experiences so far about Polish women [93]

quote by Johnny Reb

They call them, "self serving opportunists."

quote by jon357

Perhaps you call them that. Most don't.

Really, when was the last time you were with a woman jon ?

If you want your wife to complain a lot, be pessimistic, and look super hot in her 20's and 30's but then look like a Maytag fridge by the time she's 50 and cut her hair really short - then marry a PL girl..

The reason they look like a Maytag by 50 is from extreme depression that causes them to over eat. By 50 their husbands have
become bald, have no sex drive (and when they do the deed is short lived only satisfying himself), have developed a puss gut and become very gassey. I mean can you really blame the woman in such a scenario ?

It only proves that God has a sense of humor.

. There's a difference between liking nice things and wanting your man to succeed and using him because he gives you a Mercedes to drive around in...

Which reminds me what my Daddy told me when I was a boy. He said, "son, a woman can make you or break you."

Love / Observations and experiences so far about Polish women [93]

The women in Poland typically have that '50's housewife mentality' especially ones that are in their 30's, 40's and beyond...

Women with '50's housewife mentality' are the women that take care of their man and his children.
They call that "a family".

It's more the PL women who are younger and in search of better opportunities that are typically more independent.

Young women that are independent don't need a man nor have time to pamper one.
They call them, "self serving opportunists." (Not that there is anything wrong with that)

Travel / Where to buy marihuana in Warsaw? [38]

Dear Officer Colombiana,
Fishing again are you .
Gee, a real girl that wants to get high, how wrong could it go ?
It might even lead to sex in exchange for some free weed. WoW !
Yeah or better yet, be set up on some forum by the cops to get arrested.
(If you're not paranoid you're not paying attention.)
Go fish.

USA, Canada / 15 hr. motion on a minimum wage. (USA) [16]

. Or at least do a trade, easily over 15$ an hour and much better then fast food/retail etc.

Absolutely !
Long haul truck drivers, for example, can easily make $2000 USD per week here in the U.S.A.
Problem is companies can not find dependable people that speak and read English to do the job and they other half can't pass the drug testing.

Up in the booming Dakota's they can't find workers period because it is "to cold" of a climate even though they pay twice minimum wage for unskilled labor.

And that is the problem, Americans have never felt the pain of war, have never gone without, have never suffred to appreciate what they have. They are SPOILED.

Poeple in Poland know what war is all about, going to the store and not having a choice of what brand to choose from, what

suffering is, what authority is, what going without is.
These people that are demanding $15 an hour do not have the skills or capabilities to put $15 an hours worth of work out.
Cut the damn welfare programs out for ALL capable workers and they would be happy for "those $8-$10 per hour jobs" that Americans won't do.

Promlem is welfare pays $20 plus an hour to watch t.v. all day, get stoned and play video games - so there is the problem.

Only in America could the rich people who pay 85% of all income tax be accused of "not paying their fare share" by people who don't pay any income tax at all.

Starting to see the big picture here ?

Love / "going to dinner with my sis..." - approaching a Polish girl, help needed [46]

Also wondering how office affairs are perceived in poland?

So your goal here is to have an 'affair' with a fellow worker ? (Red flag)

What immaturity have u seen in me to make such conclusion?

Wanting to have an affair with a woman you don't know and your self pity party to start.

I ask for friendly advice on a girl I liked

And you got advice and you are still whining like there is some magic answer.
Start thinking with your big head instead of your little one.
We have no idea why she rejects you.
Maybe she sees that you just want to have an affair with her.
Maybe you are not quite as good looking as you think you are.
Maybe she sees your lack self confidence
Maybe you don't make enough money to meet her whims
Maybe she is a lesbian
Maybe you have bad breath
How are we suppost to know what she is thinking.

all u r capable of saying is to watch me burn or crash

Crash and burn from what ? You haven't even made it to first base yet.
So why blame us. (Red flag)

blame me for her not fancying me

(More pity) (Another Red flag)
If it is not your fault it must be hers cause it sure ain't mine.
Let's gather some facts here so we can help you.
How old are you ?
Have you ever had a girlfriend before ?
Do you have your own place or do you live with your parents ?
Do you own your own car ?
How tall are you and how tall is she ?
How much do you weigh ?
Are you bald ?
Is she marreid ?
Does she have children ?
Much more information is needed for us to help you get her nickers off.
Have you thought of asking a fellow female worker that you trust to innocently ask this nymph what she thinks of you.
This thread should have been named Dear Abby.

Love / Do Polish girls lose their virginity later than most [14]

but this so happens to be a dealbreaker for me.

So sad to hear that this would be a priority.
May I help educate you here.
20 year old men who stalk 16 year old children in America are frowned on heavily.
If you would have said you were looking for a twenty year old virgin for your 'priority' then it would be another story.
It is obvious that you desire something that you missed out on and now want to cash in on.
I suggest heavily that you start seeking a virgin your own age before you end up in prison.
Sixteen will get you twenty......or worse yet, a ****** off father with a double barrel shotgun.
It's better to be boxed in your corner then being boxed in the ground.

USA, Canada / 15 hr. motion on a minimum wage. (USA) [16]

Hell no !
When welfare pays more then most jobs that these dead beats are capable of doing what do you expect.
Poverty pays good these days.
Our boys in the military putting their lives on the line don't make $15 an hour nor get foodstamps to buy lobster and top shelf steaks so why should some stoner that can't skip and chew gum at the same time get paid that.

Flipping burgers is a kids job to put gas in their car and buy a bag of weed not support a family with.
So when you sit home on your dead ass sucking off welfare and demand to have high speed internet ($3 a day)
cable t.v. ($3 a day) have a smart phone ($3 a day) smoke a pack and a half of cigarettes a day ($10 a day) drink a six pack of beer ($5 a day) and buy an eighth of weed ($25 a day) what the hey. Living large.

If you do the math that all adds up to over $1400 a month on sh*t that you need none of to survive.
That's $17000 plus a year for luxuries. Pleanty to pay the NECESSITY bills.
When your maximum capabilities are $7.50 an hour to flip burgers or mow lawns then I can understand why you think
you need twice that much to support your bad habits and certainly to be able to start popping out kids.
So the system offers you $15 an hour welfare plus free medical to be able to afford your life style what you gonna do ?
Sit home on your dead ass the rest of your life and let your working neighbor support you or go get an education and
make an effort to quit those bad habits and get a $15 an hour job that you actually put out $15 an hour worth of work.
You could pay $25 an hour for those kid jobs and people would still want more even though they only put out $7.50 worth of work.
Wake up Smuck, you ain't worth it.
No, give the military personel who risk their lives a huge raise way before of thinking of giving some high school kid job one.
They sacrifice their families, their lives, are away from home all while putting their future on hold.
We all can't be doctors and should get paid according to our capabilities and if that is $7.50 an hour and it isn't enough to

pay the bills get a second job so you can. Those are the work ethics that built this great nation.

Put yourself in her shoes.
If she was interested in you, yet really did have plans with her sister, she would have replied.
"Sorry I have plans with my sis, hoping we can make it for another time soon."

Are u polish by the way?

LOL, everyone sure wants to know the answer to that for some reason don't they.

Life / When will SMOKING BE BANNED? (from public areas in Poland) [44]

Just look around you and OBSERVE for yourself those who are still smoking in 2014.
Most of the educated successful people seem to have made the good choice and quit smoking.
Most of the uneducated unsuccessful people who can least afford to smoke still do.

Life / When will SMOKING BE BANNED? (from public areas in Poland) [44]

Smoking is already banned in Public places in Jamaica and most of the U.S.A.
The big arguement was that it would cut down on revenue from the Pub's.
Just the opposite happened. Once the ban went into effect patronage INCREASED because people that didn't smoke
no longer had to be FORCED to breath second hand smoke which is just as deadly.
We can now dress to impress when we go out for a drink without having filthy residue ruining our good cloths. It stinks !
I told the smokers who argued with me about this that I have a bad habit of drinking beer that causes a filthy residue called pee.

Let me INSIST to pee all over your hair and cloths and see how you like it.
It is even against the law to smoke in a private car that is occupied by children in the U.S.
My guess is that the Polish Government will ban it soon and start collecting hefty fines for those who refuse to abide.
I wish you the best in your very constructive crusade Maluch.

Food / Where can I find good coffee and Cuban cigars in Stalowa Wola area? [10]

I may have to concede on this one. I honestly can't remember. You got me.
After giving this some serious thought I have narrowed it down to more like 30 years ago this happened.
Man it sure seems they did put the fine on my credit card though.
I am willing to stand corrected however.
I don't carry my checkbook with me when I travel though.
Hell I can't remember but it seems it cost me $500, they kept the cigars and I missed my connecting flight.
My point was, no way did they let me slide when I tried it years ago.
You must have short hair and wear a tie to get away with it.
Thanks for pointing out such a detail however Justin. ;-)
How do you like the new retina scans they do now.
You just look up at their camera, click and walla, your picture pops up on their screen with all your personal information.

Food / Where can I find good coffee and Cuban cigars in Stalowa Wola area? [10]

I travel internationally almost every month being living in states and never had problems taking a pack or 2 even when customs checked it

That doesn't surprise me as the U.S. has become very lacks on even travel to Cuba by Americans today.

They were nice to me once too for bringing in five Cuban Cohevas. (15 years ago)

Well I put it on my credit card back then. Just to update you.

Maybe you looked like a smuggler

What does a smuggler look like ?
I now just take the bands off them and replace them with Jamaican cigar bands.
They know but how was I to know when I bought them and have a reciept for 'Jamaican" cigars.
I have always lived on the edge. :-))))

Food / Where can I find good coffee and Cuban cigars in Stalowa Wola area? [10]

Cuban cigars

If they are flying back to the States is this not a pretty risky item to be bringing in the luggage?

From first hand experience as I have a home in Jamaica as well as in the U.S.
In Jamaica I can buy the best fresh Cuban cigars legally. $8 for a Coheba that lasts a half a day.
As 'Dont gag me yo' posted in another thread that U.S. Customs were nice and let his Cuban cigars slide.
They were nice to me once too for bringing in five Cuban Cohevas. (15 years ago)
They let me put the $500 USD fine on my credit card. First offense.
Second offense is being banned from travel to Jamaica for life.
So I think 'Dont gag me' is full of little green apples.
As for Jamaicans Blue Mountain coffee you can buy fresh beans off the farms for about $40 per kilo and
allowed to bring $600 worth back duty free legally. Most likely the same from Poland.
It sells for $80 per kilo in the U.S.
I have met some really cool Polish people in Jamaica.
They shocked me as they spoke perfect English.

UK, Ireland / Do people in Poland live "better" than here in the UK? [150]

It's the same in the USA - very restricted access to anything other than 'state owned land'.

How about the city parks, the county parks, state parks, hundreds of thousands of acres of State and Federal land, hundreds of miles of groomed walking, bike, motorcycle, four wheeler, snowmobile trails from one end to the other in any state of the union ?

It's so difficult to have honest comparative discussions that it almost makes sense to not have them. I'm waiting for someone to say, "Oh yeah, well my dad can beat up your dad....with one arm tied behind his back."

Yup and when they do the thread gets moved to the back page of OFF TOPIC.
I would think such things as the crime rate, morality, and cleanliness would out weigh food, tourism and free concerts.
Where would you rather raise your child should answer the question.

UK, Ireland / Curious about differences Polish people see with the British? [95]

This thread is about differences Polish people see with the British.

Statistics speak for themselves as this article shows.

Britons spend more on drugs and prostitutes than on beer and wine, the first official study of money spent on "illegal" activities has found.

The figures were disclosed in data today that showed a 2.2 per cent rise in the amount of money spent by families over the past year as the economy returned to health.

The Office for National Statistics, which tracks changes in spending habits across the country, found miscreants spent an enormous £12.3 billion last year on illegal substances and sexual gratification. This was more than the amount spent on wine and beer in 2013, which was just under £11 billion, according to the ONS data.

The statistics body been forced by the European Union to investigate the amount of money splurged on illegal drugs and prostitution. Today was its final deadline to publicise the findings, which are now included in the national accounts. The EU said such work was necessary to create a fair comparison of different national economies.

Love / Polish women care about traditional values [34]

A stay home mum is only much more work if she's used to menial jobs

BALONY !
You must have never been commited to any othe those "menial" jobs.
I worked 60 hours plus a week at one of those "high earning" jobs for years.
When my wife was hospitalized for two months and I had to stay home to care for the little ones, cook, clean, grocery shop, balance the checkbook, pay the bills, drop the younguns off at school, pick them up from school, pack their lunches, change poopie diapers, wash the cloths, clean up urp after sick kids.......you know, all those "menial" jobs,

I was more then ready to get back to my 'high earning' job before I had a nervous break down.
Much less physical work, much less stress, ADULT CONVERSATION, much more free time, punch the clock at 6p.m. and my day ended. Come home, crack a cold one and mow the lawn.

My wife's job was 24/7 never knowing what the next challenge would be.
Oh you are SOoooo wrong to judge those "menial" jobs that you obviously know nothing about.
I didn't either until they were dumped in my lap one day and reality set in REAL quick.
I ask you, how much do you think a fare wage would be for say, Being up all night with a three year old with the flu (crying, urping, temperature, and the hearshy squirts all at one time) after you have worked all day doing those "menial" jobs for the rest of your family ?

Please tell us.

For a business woman like myself it would a breeze compared with my working week

I beg to differ.

Men shouldn't allow themselves to be used by money grabbing opportunists.

That falls under the little head controlling the big head (choice) but I don't think we are talking about the money grubbers here.
We are talking about "traditional values" of Polish women, not the new age church of 'Meism'.

Love / Polish women care about traditional values [34]

quote by EdinburghGirl

It's well known Polish women are "nice" to their man all the time he's being generous financially and supporting her.

That is not only a Polish woman's tradition but a world wide tradition.
Do tell us what a Brit Bird would do in that situation.
Anything different ?

I wouldn't blame her.
A stay home Mom is much more work (24/7) then punching a clock eight hours a day.
If SHE is the bread winner of the relationship and supporting HIM while he is playing househusband and she took the money away that would hold true too.

Both mates have to be "nice".

Love / Polish women care about traditional values [34]

quote by Magdalena

Poland may be a "traditional" society, yes. But it all takes place within a matriarchal, not patriarchal, structure.

If Poland is a traditional society and the majority of the population are of traditionally Catholic back ground, wouldn't such a femanist statement be in direct opposition to what the Catholic church teaches ?

Does new age femanism now trump Catholic church doctrine ?
