Real Estate / Land dilemma - registering land and properties in Poland [8]

The tricky part is that grandma promised all her children for their share of the heritage and she was genuine about it.then grandmother had a sudden death, she had a car accident and passed away on the spot.

So grandma was still fit as a fiddle, her death cause was the road accident.no one was really looking after her.

Is it possible to contact land registry and ask about the name of the legal owner of the land?
If the land was on aunty name, why she cleanly show the will to the rest of the members of family? Tricky!

Love / Marrying a Polish divorcee - no church wedding? [19]

hi, i am asking this question on behalf of a non catholic (non EU national). i hope the replies here will be able to help him. i have a friend who is in love with a polish girl. he wants to marry her but because she is a divorcee, she said she can't have a church wedding but she doesnot want to marry into any other religion. she can only have a legal wedding. but he wants to have a religious and legal wedding.his question is can his polish girlfriend has a church wedding even if she is divorcee and he doesnot mind a church wedding as far as the wedding is done in a religious institution (that is a church, infront of God). he is non catholic but he respects his girlfriend religion...any input is welcome.

Love / Marrying a Polish divorcee - no church wedding? [19]

i understand. ok thanks, interesting to know.
this question is from me: what if two widows want to get married? are they allowed in the church?
and another question again from me: if a single catholic woman has a child with a married catholic man, is the child allowed to be baptised in the church and is this consider as a sin? these 2 questions are out of my curiousity

No offence to anyone but I think a child is innocent but priest shouldn't agree to baptise the child as it is encouragement to those who have a child without being married.even they know it is wrong as a catholic.that is my opinion.

But someone told me once that priest takes more money if couples are not married!

Lenka I agree we should help ppl when they make mistake. But I think being in a relationship with a married man who has a wife and still in a marriage is not a mistake.and purposely, that girl is the mistress of that man.anyhow thanks for the answers.

But why the Polish Baltic when you can go to Croatia for the same price and get guaranteed good weather?

we have been to croatia already and i want to experience baltic sea in poland this year...

And yes, Szczecin airport is the closest.

do you know how long it takes from airport to the coast?

any suggestions for hotels will be appreciated.

Love / Massive problems with Polish mother-in-law [36]

I don't have mil but I have sister in law.she does everything to break my marriage with my husband and secretly she is asking for money for her so called debts.the only sad part in my relationship is my husband blindly gives her money and believes that she is the only one who wish his good after his mother.you are lucky that your husband is on your side... Your mil won't change.her ego is too big to apologise to you. I can understand you.for money, polish women can go to any extent, even breaking a marriage, splitting two lovers...I am experiencing this from my in laws....good luck,my dear.

Travel / How does wizz air compare with ryanair? [32]

I want to share my experience with wizz air.I have travelled twice with wizz air to Poland since I posted in this forum.wizz air is lot better than Ryanair.staffs on board are friendly and polite.parents with small children are given priority to board first on plane.however, baby doesn't have luggage allowance,so we bought extra luggage, which allows up to 32 kg.no seat is allocated like Ryan air.but overall, traveling with wizz air is better than Ryanair.
