Classifieds / Quran translation - I am from UK and looking for a muslim Polish man in UK [75]

@Wulkan

True, Islam's structure relies on gender discrimination and against non-believers.

But the OP said he is in feminist UK. Since he chooses to live there then he must abide with the current law until sharia is full implemented there.

Granted, feminists and other leftists routinely give muslims a free pass on their bad behavior because they know their presence helps to destroy the evil of "white male privilege".

But that alliance won't last forever and it will be interesting to see who wins the next culture war between feminism and islam.

Odds don't favor the feminists though.

For example, France which is ahead of other member states in the Islamic incubator process within the EU:

Classifieds / Quran translation - I am from UK and looking for a muslim Polish man in UK [75]

If Christian need a priest in the church what would they say in the ad

You are make a false comparison. You didn't ask for an imam. You asked for a muslim who is fluent in Polish who would read from a pdf. That's all.

Besides there are laypeople with degrees in religion and theology studies (which includes islam) if some understanding is needed about what is being narrated. Even places like Oxford and Cambridge offer such studies but given your derisory pay for the project you are highly unlikely to attract such talent.

It's noteworthy too that you dodged answering how long the recording will be. There are videos on youtube of nothing but a narration of the quran and they last anywhere from 10 to 12 hours. So really, you only want to compensate someone £200 for potentially £1000 - £3,600 worth of work. That's stealing.

You really are taking the Hadith passage "Allah would provide for you as He provides for the birds" way too literally because your offer really is for the birds. And what's worse is you can't even buy a parrot for £200 nowadays.

Also, why are you asking for a man to do the work? What if a muslima or non-muslim woman was capable of doing the narration in Polish?

Again, you are discriminating and it is unlawful.

You ll get paid for the full project regardless how long it ll take you ll get paid £200

Truthfinder? Skinflint is more like it.

Any narrator (not a celebrity voice either) would expect to be paid £100 - £300 per hour for their finished work. How many hours is the audio recording going to be?

Are you going to provide the studio and recording equipment or don't have money for that either and expect the narrator to already have the space and equipment for you?

If you are going to provide the studio and equipment then what sort of compensation are you going to provide for transportation expenses and possibly the need for lodging costs?

Also, although you don't seem to mind using a non-muslim internet forum to post your ad, you need to be aware that stating that potential candidates for your narration project must be muslim only is an act of discrimination which is forbidden under UK and EU laws.

Life / Polish and Czechs [190]

From memory the Prague Uprising actually succeeded in driving the Nazis out of the city, which is quite a contrast to the Warsaw Uprising.

The Warsaw Uprising predated the Prague Uprising by a year.

Poles fought fiercely and courageously against the odds for three straight months where as the Czechs quickly gave up after only three days.

After the Nazis crushed the Czechs they fled Prague only because they preferred to be captured by the Americans rather than by the advancing Soviet army.

Work / Studies In Poland, is it easy to survive on part-time jobs? [259]

And all they can do is export their misfortune to the rest of the world. The fact that they couldn't deal with a known and growing problem within their own country (and are now primitively reacting to it with riots and demands for quotas) show the true limits of their so-called talents and their education which is based largely on wrote memorization rather than critical thinking and creativity.

Of course the enquiries on here from the Indian subcontinent and other overpopulated regions of the world won't stop. But the reasons behind these voluminous searches for job leads from these places should be understood because they will not bring any benefits to Poland and certainly not create jobs for local Poles. They are only seeking temporary relief by transferring their problems abroad.

They always hire their own kind anyway.

Even the carnival barkers for diversity who claim they will bring a variety of restaurants are preaching falsehoods. Immigrants aren't interested in slaving away in kitchens for the rest of their lives and certainly don't want that for their own children. They always seek out better paying white collar positions. And meals like curry and kebabs are never authentic in other countries anyway due to locally procured ingredients and adaptations to local tastes. Therefore there is no need to import Indians, Turks and Arabs to make them. Recipes are universally obtained and there are plenty of talented Polish chefs who can easily whip up such meals if there is a demand for them.

Work / Studies In Poland, is it easy to survive on part-time jobs? [259]

are you being deliberately obtuse or are you just thick?

Indians are often falsely portrayed by themselves and their virtue signaling neo-Marxist supporters in the West as being super smart and overachieving.

But reality tells another story.

India is so corrupted by vestiges of their caste system and completely overpopulated with people with useless degrees and credentials that they simply have no future.

I pointed out in another thread how the IT sector collapsed in India due to advances in automation.

Here is another account written just this month of how dire the situation is over there:

...19,000 applied for 114 jobs; competing to be a street sweeper were thousands graduates, some with engineering and MBA degrees...1.5 million applied for 1,500 jobs with a bank..9 million took entrance exams for fewer than 100,000 jobs on the railways.

Faced with this lack of opportunity, many turn to rioting..entire cities had been shut down as people demanded quotas in education and jobs - today, young people from agricultural castes want to work in offices and not farms.

theguardian.com/news/2018/jan/02/the-scammers-gaming-indias-overcrowded-job-market

And yet militant Soros drones in the feminized West insist that countries in Europe need to import this unsustainable and violent prone overcapacity from the rest of the world.

Classifieds / Poland's work permit for a friend needed [5]

The message I had for the OP and his friends has been the exact same sentiment of thousands of Poles for years now.

So, where have you been?

From October 2017:

Young Poles leave UK to return home as economy booms

Many young and highly educated Poles...motivated by some combination of Brexit's push and the pull of a thriving Polish economy that is hungry for their talents and experience...are trading the professional prestige of London for the comfort of home.

From March 2017:

POLES DEPART Poland's cities are thriving again as thousands return home since Brexit vote

Poland's Development Ministry believes between 100,000 and 200,000 of the 900,000 Poles living in Britain may return home as a result of the country leaving the European Union.

From October 2016:

Meet the Poles who went back: 'A studio in central Warsaw beats an East London flatshare'

'Whole areas of science are booming and up for grabs' ... Jakub Bochiński, head of the European Space Agency's education office in Warsaw.

'My place is back here' ... Google public policy manager Marta Poślad.

@tired

You don't offer "some food for thought" but rather a poison pill which is currently killing the West.

Everything you ranted about against Poles and Polish society is nothing more than overused and hollow talking points of the sinister professional left.

Your extremist ideological views can be summed up as such:

Intersectionality is a neo-Marxist doctrine that views racism, sexism, ableism, heterosexism, and all forms of "oppression" as interconnected and mutually reinforcing.

And all your overgeneralized examples and your final sappy appeal for an emotional solution (i.e., "spreading love") have all been seen before and is yet another blatant tactic of the sinister professional left:

Lived experience, according to intersectional theory, is a better guide to the truth than...Western and masculine styles of thinking. So don't try to refute intersectionality with logic or evidence: That only proves that you are part of the problem...

decent folk doing the decent thing, and not stealing this man's money

Decent folk don't go shopping their accounts of doing the decent thing to the press.

The decent thing would have been to discretely return the money to him and turn the press away.

And they wouldn't have had to steal his money anyway. Like I pointed out a pub can easily take in a grand a day. For a pub in London you can double, triple or even quadruple that especially at this time of year.

However, making it a point to feature a pay envelope showing no deductions, tracking down a Polish man named Mariusz (both unnecessary details to the news story itself), and then having him stand there in an arrest pose with £600 in his hand was all just throwing red meat to the Polonophobic Brexiteer base.

Go look up images of this pub. It has fixed flagpoles flying the Union Jack.

Who for? Little Englanders, that's who for. They know they're gonna need them come April 2019.

there is nothing for anybody to expose re: that pay envelope.

Well, let's take look at the comments to this article made earlier today over at the cuckservative Telegraph:

Where are deductions ... ? I have never received a pay packet without deductions clearly stated.

So, Dougy Boy, what do you have to say in response to your fellow Brits Kate B and JR Hartley?

Like I said this whole production is just that - a big production; advertisement for the pub and busybody pointing out of a Polish man's earnings sans deductions.

In fact, I have to question now if this story would ever have made it into the British press if the name on the envelope wasn't obviously Polish.

You have failed miserably to detract from the reality of Polonophobia. If anything, you just provided another example of it.

The man will be responsible for his own books. There are no deductions made at source.

Hence why I pointed out that the taxed British pub was making a dog and pony show for simply returning money to a patron.

Why all the attention seeking other than to advertise for their own business while simultaneously signalling to the rabid Brexiteering public and HMRC that they found Johnny Foreigner's wages in a cash stuffed envelope showing no deductions?

Look again at the staged photo. Two British jobsworths with ****-eating grins standing side-by-side as if the Pole has just been nicked for some wrongdoing. Frankly, it looks like a poor attempt at a perp walk.

silly theories of "Polonophobia."

It's attitudes like yours which allows Polonophobia to exist.

racist UK, you seem to have somehow missed this one. My local pub when I lived in London

(Sigh)

You can't be serious.

You're the one who obviously has been trawling the internet in a desperate attempt to draw attention away from the scourge of Polonophobia with some soppy xmas time "feel good" story.

But is it?

No.

Good deeds are done by millions of Poles each and every day without any fuss or recognition.

But here a British business is making a big production for simply returning money to the rightful owner.

It's a good way to advertise though isn't it? Free and effortless too when turning to twitter and facebook and having their users do all the leg work in tracking someone down.

There's more to this too.

Look how the British featured the generic pay envelope:

Now look at this staged photo and how it is the British gleefully smiling and pointing at the Polish man who is nonplus and holding a wad of notes.

Hmmm, let's see.

£600 in cash; a face now associated to the Polish name and plastered in a newspaper and all over the internet; and look on the pay envelope - NO DEDUCTIONS!

It's clear now why a taxed British business like a pub (which can easily take in £1,000 a day) was so keen in reuniting Mariusz with his "Crimbo wage packet".

After all, 31 January is the deadline to file self assessments in the UK or face fines.

Law / Visa for Work in Poland [29]

Currently i am working as a software professional in a reputed IT company.

A very interesting insight regarding the non-stop enquiries on PF all throughout 2017 from the Indian subcontinent about finding work in Poland; most especially in the IT sector:

56,000 layoffs and counting: India's IT bloodbath this year may just be the start

For Indian techies, 2017 was the stuff of nightmares.

One of the top employment generators until a few years ago...Digitisation and automation brought about disruption...Compared to the normal rate of forced attrition...of around 1%...Indian IT companies [let] go 2% - 6%

qz.com/1152683/indian-it-layoffs-in-2017-top-56000-led-by-tcs-infosys-cognizant/

Note well, emphasized in bold in the quote above, what made them redundant. It wasn't high skilled African migrants flooding into India and willing to work at lower wages.

Nope, it was digitization and automation.

These jobs in India are gone for good.

Digitization and automation will increasingly become part and parcel of industry in Poland. This is all the more reason why these economic migrants (whatever claims they make on their CVs and assuming they are even literate to begin with) are truly not needed.

They are a surplus to requirements in their homelands and within the next five to ten years would be the same in Poland and the rest of Europe.

I'm sure you will be devasted to hear that the illegal sign has been taken down.

I'm overjoyed actually. It's mission accomplished!

You're the Anglocentric carpetbagger who is devastated that your fellow Brit's Polonophobia couldn't withstand public indignation and the prompt backlash from the Polish community.

It was absolutely right and proper for Rado Papiewski to take the lead in confronting this overt and unjustified hatred in his midsts. He and the entire Polish community prevailed.

And I'm very proud to say that I did my part in drawing attention to this latest recurrence of Polonophobia. Note well that the report of the offensive Polonophobic sign being removed came five days after I started this thread. It should never have gone up in the first place.

And thanks for including the BBC news link in your post because the accompanying video report showed that your fellow British Polonophobes put up a similar "No Poles Allowed!" sign way back in 2009. So this proves that anti-Polish sentiment in this particular area of Blighty has been simmering (and twice boiling over) for nearly decade.

Similar discriminatory signage went up in Poland during the Nazi occupation of 1939:

And we all know that plenty of Brits (at every level of society including your establishment) openly and tacitly sided with the Nazis (and Soviets) before, during and well after the war.

Ultimately what this latest sickening incident proved is that the accounts of Poles being discriminated against in prior generations by non-Poles like yourself has unfortunately been very real and sustained right through to the 21st century.

Polonophobia is never justified and acts of it can never be ignored.

Akin to the outbreak of a fire it must be confronted and extinguished immediately.

UK, Ireland / No Poles Allowed! - Latest Polonophobic Outrage Out of Britain [660]

Care to quote me saying anything like that?

Look Harold (flouting PF rules by using two user IDs), you started an entire thread about it only seven months ago:

After 77 years, Krakow school does the right thing

American news story:A school in Poland unveiled a plaque Tuesday that commemorates 87 Jewish girls who were expelled in 1939 during the Nazi occupation of the country.

Zionist Harry's collective guilty and responsibility jab at Poles:

Good to see the school doing the right thing, but why on earth has it taken them 77 years to do that?!...I'm wondering why I haven't seen any Stolpersteine in Warsaw yet. Does anybody know why that is?

Now, back to the topic of this thread, where is your personal public atonement for the torrent of hate crimes being committed by your fellow Brits against Poles back in the UK?

No one is interested in your mental gymnastics.

Only your apology and what you are doing to make things right is required.
Bieganski
21 Dec 2017
UK, Ireland / No Poles Allowed! - Latest Polonophobic Outrage Out of Britain [660]

why should someone apologize for what some other people are/were doing - I don't see a point

There are numerous threads on PF with the common theme of "collective guilt and responsibility" as in what they falsely claim Poles owe to others such as Jews, economic migrants clamoring to enter the EU, etc.

And of course the biggest advocates of "collective guilt and responsibility" (i.e., Harry, Delphia, Doug, the gay Turkish whirling dervish, etc.) also engage in mental gymnastics whereby when this collective guilt tripping comes around to applying to them then all of a sudden they want everyone to see them as atomized individuals with absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with the jingoism and xenophobia of their kith and kin back in Blighty or their literal genetic cousins over in America.

In the case of this thread the British do need to take ownership of what is going on back in their homeland and exert peer pressure on their compatriots. They can do this by announcing how they have written to their MPs to have this offense Polonophobic sign torn down. They can announce how they have donated to the crowdfunding effort to help the Polish father in Britain sue to have the offense Polonophobic sign removed.

At the very least they need to stand up and say they are ashamed to be British for what their countrymen are doing to Poles and acknowledge that it is not an aberration but a Stage 4 social cancer which needs to be confronted and eradicated.

@Dougpol1

Let's get this straight, you know nothing about me beyond your deep seated prejudices and wild assumptions.

Regarding America it started out as a British colony and is still inextricably linked with your British homeland - genetically, linguistically, culturally, politically, economically and militarily.

You and your fellow LBH/TFL/In-Cel British cohorts personally have far more in common with the average American than any Pole does. After all, you are the one who was born in and still belongs to the 51st state.

And yes, your British police have racially profiled and shot and killed non-whites.

As a minority group generations of Poles have faced bullying and discrimination in both America and Britain simply for being Polish.

No surprise then that as an Anglocentric Brit you are trying to drive this thread off-topic so you don't have to own up and apologize for how your people treat Poles.

UK, Ireland / No Poles Allowed! - Latest Polonophobic Outrage Out of Britain [660]

I hope this guy is just acting hysterical to get the better results out of the case, rather than really speaking his mind.

The concerns are legitimate.

There have been numerous, offensive, violent, and even deadly incidents targeting Poles residing in the UK.

What's most troubling about all this is that Poles have been in the UK for generations but with larger numbers arriving since 2004. Poles are integrated, law-abiding and productive members of society in Britain.

However, Polonophobic incidents against Poles have been worsening in recent years.

Here is just a handful of examples which have made it into the media and have been discussed here on PF previously:

- In June 2016 the Polish Social and Cultural Association in London (POSK) was spray painted with obscene Polonophobic graffiti. Over a year later no arrest has been made despite surveillance images of a suspect being provided to the public.

- In August 2016 a Polish man was fatally attacked in Harlow for speaking in Polish and accented English. Hours after a vigil was held for him by the Polish community two Poles were assaulted in the same town.

- In January 2017 a Polish mother was shopping with her child in Stevenage and filmed being confronted by a British male who yelled at her to "start speaking English" and then told her to "go back home".

- In December 2017 this thread highlighted reports of a Polish man having to resort to finding funding in order to sue to have the offensive and illegal "No Poles allowed" signage removed after the owners refused following a request sent to them months ago.

Sure the sign included the term "Eastern Bloc" but that came after Poles were singled out by name.

All of these incidents are chronic, pervasive and unjustified hate crimes perpetrated by the British against Poles.

Others pointed out Poles will take fish they have caught home and there was this guy from the Netherlands claiming Poles have caught all the fish from certain lakes in his country - lol!

If that was the real motive behind it then the owners could have put up a multilingual sign (in all EU languages and predominant Asian and African languages spoken in the UK) saying that fishing is for catch and release only and any fish caught must not be taken off the premises.

But no, that's not what the owners did. They have a personal hatred towards Poles in particular, want them excluded, and literally spelled it out for all to see.

So to bring you back from trying to drive this thread off-topic, the title regards yet another sad chapter of unjustified British bigotry against Poles and this time in the most appallingly shameless manner for all to see.

USA, Canada / Edward Rowny - General, Ambassador, Author, Scholarship Founder, Polish American, Passes into Ancestry [8]

Although Zbigniew Brzezinski has been the household name on both sides of the Atlantic of famous Polish American strategists, another lesser known but equally key Polish American player in military and diplomatic circles was Ambassador Edward Rowny who passed away this week at the ripe old age of 100. Ambassador Rowny attended Brzezinski's funeral last spring according to the NY Times.

He was a highly decorated WWII combat veteran rising to the rank of three star general in the US Army. He was a military adviser to five American presidents most notably the Reagan administration during nuclear arms treaties with the Soviets. And history teaches us which side prevailed thanks to great Polish American men like Ambassador Rowny.

Born in the US in 1917 his Polish parents and grandparents instilled in him a great love for Poland which he remained committed to throughout his long and productive life.

Most notably in 1992 (by then aged 75) Ambassador Rowny was instrumental in having the remains of Polish pianist, composer, politician, statesman, and former Prime Minister Ignacy Jan Paderewski returned to Poland from the United States.

In 2004 he established the Paderewski Scholarship Fund for Polish students to study in America.

He remained very active in Polonia organizations until the end of his life.

In the spring of 2017 Poland's ambassador in Washington DC threw a birthday party for him.

General Edward Rowny's 100th Birthday Jubilee

On April 3, General Rowny turned 100 years old. To mark this occasion Ambassador Piotr Wilczek organized a birthday celebration at his residence. In addition to the General's family and friends, among those in attendance were Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur, Co-Chair of the Congressional Poland Caucus.

Ambassador Rowny's obituary was carried in America's main stream media like the Washington Post and of course Poland's media which made pointed references to his Polish heritage and active involvement in Polish interests in America.

Of course he didn't. The DNC has as much ethical standards as Zimbabwe's ruling ZANU-PF and South Africa's ruling ANC when it comes to how campaigns and elections are orchestrated.

Nevertheless, all leftwing ideologies are being rejected in the Northern Hemisphere particularly among younger voters like in Poland, the US, and most notably and recently in Austria.

I agree. "Bigly" as he would put it!

The media are already untrusted especially with younger disenfranchised voters. More younger people will vote for Trump as more and more of them turnoff and tuneout from the leftwing propaganda machine. They will also vote for him while seeing more job opportunities for themselves as the economy expands and larger paychecks once Trump's 'Cut, Cut, Cut' tax bill is passed.
