Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

Where are the videos and pics of the Polish women to rival the rest of the world?

tbh it doesn't really matter to me whether they "rival the rest of the world" or not, I just like them :) But I prefer slightly older women to most of you lot, so my choice would be someone like Katarzyna Herman...

News / Multi-culti (in Poland) -- roadmap to disaster? [344]

oh, for those that think that the decline of pure white race is the end of the world, the sky IS falling!
They just keep panicking themselves.
If they were not filled with such fear and hate, it would be amusing to watch.

That's a different subject altogether. But move to London and you'll soon understand why it's not racist for white Britons to "fear" being a white minority, while living in a city full of black criminals. ;) We're already seeing what the future holds for the UK, and I'm glad I won't be around when it happens.

That said, the biggest danger to blacks over here isn't "evil racist whitey", but other black men. Not that anyone will ever admit it publically, but that's political correctness for you - bury your head in the sand and it will go away. Except it doesn't ;)

Poland will never be affected by Multi-Culture

It's already been affected, just nowhere near the same level as western Europe. People 100 years ago probably thought that the UK would "never be affected by multi-culture" because there were only a few thousand blacks and Asians over here. Go to Birmingham, Leicester, Bradford or south/east London, then tell me you're in a European city which "will never be affected by multi-culture" ;)

News / Multi-culti (in Poland) -- roadmap to disaster? [344]

Considering how long I've lived in London, I'd have to have been deaf and blind not to have heard of them. I don't really see your point, though. Just because there is a unit which investigates "black-on-black" crime, doesn't mean that anyone is willing to stand up and say to these black communities to "stop blaming whitey, it's your own people who are the biggest danger to you", because they won't - it's easier to blame "whitey", "poverty", "lack of opportunity" etc. You can try giving Lee Jasper a call, maybe he'll be willing to do so (rotflmao) ;) If it's simply about "poverty" and "lack of opportunity", then how come there are so few shootings in former mining areas in the North - which are far worse off than a south London estate. But then, the average former miner doesn't listen to hip-hop and grime and doesn't think he lives in south central LA :)

Food / Cabbage and Noodles of Poland - Golabki? [30]

It's funny to hear that stuffed cabbage is called Halupki. In Yiddish it's called "Holopches", apparently derived from Halupki. Among Jews there is "Polish" style Holopches which is sweet and sour, and "Galicianer" style which is less sweet and has more salt and pepper.

I've always known them as holishkes :)

Love / POLISH GIRLS... wake up and prove you are respectable.... [135]

POLISH GIRLS... wake up and prove you are respectable....

Polish girls are none of your business - they are what they are, and if you don't like it, you can **** off!

How about proving that all Paki men aren't insecure, controlling woman-beaters, who need arranged marriages because they can't (ahem) "match up" to other guys, and the threat of stoning for the so-called "crime" of adultery (a crime against insecure men, obviously) is the only way you can keep your women from finding something better? :p

Life / Worlds most liveable cities (Krakow or Warsaw don't even hit the radar screens) [104]

you have got to be kidding.

The truth hurts sometimes, but anyone who has spent more than a few weeks in Warsaw will testify to this. It's supposed to be a capital city, but its facilities and culture are way behind that of even certain British regions (and I'm not even including London in this). Things may be different in 30 years time, but for now... forget it! Oh, and I really like Warsaw, I just don't think it's anywhere close to what some people claim it is.

Life / Worlds most liveable cities (Krakow or Warsaw don't even hit the radar screens) [104]

Dublin - Friendly, energy, enthusiasm - maybe, but clean it most definitely is not.

I've only been there once, and hated it - full of street drinkers like any Polish city. I can see the attraction, but it's by far the dullest foreign city I've visited. 8 hours was more than enough for me. Apart from the road signs being in kilometres, it felt like a similar-sized UK city to me, rather than a nation's capital.

I've only lived in one of their top 50 cities, but I'm currently planning on living in one of the top 10 ;)

[quote]Warsaw, claims that nearly 25 percent of the city is covered in beautiful trees, shrubs, and greenery. Can anyone name any other European city that has the same volume of greenery.

Salford, of all places! lol!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_Salford

Some parts of the city, which lies directly west of Manchester, are highly industrialised and densely populated, but around one third of the city consists of rural open space. This is because the western half of the city stretches across an ancient peat bog known as Chat Moss.

I think it's just snobbery from Warsaw people when they get the disillusioned idea that their city is nicer than Kraków. Most Poles state either Kraków or Wrocław as the nicest city. I prefer Wrocław myself but Kraków will hit that list yet.

I've never liked Krakow much, but I can understand why many people do. Likewise, I like Warsaw a lot, but I still can't really explain why (haha), but I also understand why many would hate it.

I absolutely love Wroclaw though; like Manchester, you can have a laugh with strangers on the streets (unlike London or Warsaw).

You must have approached people the wrong way. Londoners are friendly, helpful and love a laugh.

Rubbish, we Londoners simply hate being approached... "don't talk to me blad, manz goin work innit!" hehe. West Londoners are the worst, though... we are OK here in South lol ;)

You have a point, though. By a long way, the worst people in London are not Londoners, but are those from small towns/villages outside. I suppose they just can't hack city life. All the people I've met from the major cities are fine. Of course, someone will disagree with my viewpoint, but in a city of 7-8 million (and now maybe more) residents, there are likely to be a multitude of opinions ;)

Life / What are the requirements to get a cell phone here in Krakow? [22]

It must be about 5 years since I bought a phone in Poland (it still works :) ). I took ID just in case, but was told that "you don't need that sort of thing over here".

Cue discussion about how everyone in the UK is now a suspected terrorist, and how the UK is now much more like commie-era Poland than Poland is these days :)

So no, you won't need ID.

Love / Polish women USED TO BE much more attractive: [162]

Chinese people still look Chinese even if they are born in the USA, so how does being "an American woman with Polish ancestry" make you look different than someone born in Poland?

It's a question of lifestyle and here in Poland, everyone is getting more and more plump:(

So Polish American-born women now look more American, and it appears that Polish-born women are heading the same way. So what's the difference? lol

Well you must be gorgeous.

Have you noticed that all these threads are always started by someone (usually a guy) who won't post a photo of themselves? If one was started by Justycia or Layla, it could be taken seriously!

Life / The Blame Game (Have you ever noticed that a Polish person is never wrong!?) [205]

it always looks bad when a foreigner uses phrases like "subhuman Polish scum".

He wouldn't get away with it on a real Polish forum, that's for sure; which is why he gets away with such a high anti-Polish post count on here.

Few people would deny him his right to his opinion. Though, for some reason, you can't express similar views towards non-whites on here, but Poles are "fair game"!!

Even St*rmfront has an "Opposing Views" forum - the problem here on PF is that those "opposing views" make up a WAY too high proportion of the posts.

Yet if you dare to actually use the Polish language in the wrong place, a faceless mod comes along and tells you to write in English, ffs!! Not very Polish then, is it? :p That's why this will never be my main Polish forum - because it simply gives Pole-haters a voice, and seems to want to control all things Polish. It's rather ironic to note that there are much fewer anti-Polish comments on the BNP's site, than there are on this "Polish" forum.

I'm not interested in debating with the Pole-hater mentioned above, but it really makes me wonder why he moved to Poland in the first place, why he doesn't go back to Scotland, or, possibly more importantly, what exactly happened to him in Poland, to make him hate the Poles so much.

You are Polish, right Sid?

Mostly, yes :)

No experiences connected to the thread?

Pretty similar to the OP tbh, but I don't think it's just a Polish thing, I've come across similar behaviour with most groups of people. However, if the OP thinks that it's frustrating to deal with Polish authorities, he really needs to move over here - it's not much better!

Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

Give 5 years they will all look like English girls.

The new stock coming through looked a right bunch of porkers to me.

If that means that Polish women start looking closer to size 12, instead of size 0, then I'm all for it! You can have the undernourished, and I'll take the "real women", because I can handle 'em, and you can't, hehe :p

I bet you're one of those English guys who can't pull and has skinny red legs like a crab..:)

LOL, I bet his "pork sword" is a bit on the slim side as well haha.

Life / The Blame Game (Have you ever noticed that a Polish person is never wrong!?) [205]

They would accept no blame but it was them that told him the erroneous info and he now has to put himself out just to rectify the situation

Sounds similar to something which happened to me over here, they won't accept any blame and the letter (clearly written by a lawyer, not some two-years-out-of-school "admin assistant", as signed) came out with the usual "we always actively pursue claims against any client who we have an issue with etc" blah blah blah corporate bull****, and of course just you even DARE not send them a recorded letter, but when you ask them if they can prove they sent me some documents by recorded post, they just say "we don't have to prove anything" lol.

For instance - I had to pick up a form from ZUS not so long ago. I got the person's phone number who was dealing with it, and was told to call in the afternoon to make sure that it would be ready for the next day. It was.

there's no way that would happen here lol

Her parents were called Władysław and Bronisława Sklodowski - not exactly French names, are they?

Some of us (including me) have been in the house she was born in - which was still in Poland the last time I looked :)

Life / The Blame Game (Have you ever noticed that a Polish person is never wrong!?) [205]

Polish growth last year 4.5%.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Multi-kulti and the PC police are definitely coming your way soon - you won't be quite so pewny siebie when it happens, trust me on this ;)

It's all very well being smug about Poland's "success", but those EU subsidies have made a huge difference (to which the UK contributes way too much) so it's no surprise that Poland is pushing ahead while the UK is falling behind. There's only one "pie" - if one country gets more, someone else always has less left over.

It would be also interesting to see how "successful" Poland would be if the UK immediately deported every Pole who has come over since 2004. We know it will never happen, but it would still be interesting to see what would happen if it did ;)

Life / The Blame Game (Have you ever noticed that a Polish person is never wrong!?) [205]

It's even worse when it's a Polish-born woman with a British-born Pole (like me), who understands where's she's coming from, but will not under any circumstances fall for the "mój misiu" controlling stuff, and has no fear of the inevitable "masz do mnie pretensje?" confrontational response. Men from Poland are more likely to give in, just to make peace. We won't over here, and they don't like it, because they are too used to getting their own way back home.

You have to call their bluff - like the one who I dated who threatened to go with some non-white if I didn't do what I was told, so I was like "no to idż i puszczaj się jeśli tak chcesz i wracaj z nim do B*********!" or something, and of course she turned into putty in my hands after that and it was back to the "misiu" stuff immediately after, lol :)

Think of it in astrological terms: Aries and Capricorn will never get on (except maybe in bed, hehe) because each simply MUST win, and each will NEVER give in. Two headstrong people will always come to blows, whether physically or otherwise. ;)

Life / The Blame Game (Have you ever noticed that a Polish person is never wrong!?) [205]

You say it as though you would love to see i happen.

Well, considering that this country has three million unemployed, is losing around a thousand jobs a day, while almost a thousand new immigrants arrive daily (not all Poles, of course), only a fool would say that returning 1/2 million people back to where they came from would be a bad thing for the economy. It's what they do in the oil states, I see no reason why it shouldn't be the case here. There's already way too many people (of all races/ethnicities) in this country who can't find work or adequate housing. There's plenty of people here to do the work; we don't need more foreigners, we just need a government which will force the lazy to do the jobs which are hard to fill. My occupation isn't that badly hit yet (but will be soon), but we're already getting 10 applicants for each job, and adverts are being closed on the day they are advertised, not the two weeks which they used to run for. The only people who benefit from this competition are the employers, certainly not us!

Language / Czech language sounds like baby talk to most Poles. Similarities? [222]

What makes me laugh is not the sound of Czech in general, but the fact that Poles still think they don't need to learn it to understand it, just because they know Polish.

In that case, a little test: Translate this into Polish, in your head. No need to post the result; just tell me how easy it is "because you know Polish". Using Google Translator doesn't count. ;)

Sídlíště je obecně název používaný pro místo dlouhodobě obývané lidmi.

Nothing too difficult there.

Be honest: apart from parts of the third line (which still won't tell you anything about the subject, unless you know the Polish equivalent for "Sídlíště"), you're going to struggle. It's not even difficult Czech, it just tells you a little about the origin of my username, hehe.

But just because you effectively know the Czech words for tram and coffee, it doesn't mean you wouldn't need to learn Czech properly to speak or understand it.
