As Dominic alreary stated, to move as an expatriate your analysis should be completely different than the analysis of a Pole. A Pole doesnt need to be really concerned with savings since probably he will live and die in Poland.

Jon, since i live in a city with around 200 thousand Pakistanis (and it is not even in Pakistan!) I hope you will allow me to express my opinion and not delete my commentary summarily like you do. And if you read it until the end you will see that this is not off topic, so hold your fingers instead of delete everything.

My ex driver was from Pakistan. One day when he was driving me to work we heard the news about an acid attack made by a Pakistani husband against his wife.

Then the following dialogue happened:
Driver: Oh the media ever portraits Pakistan in a bad bad way criticizing. Woman have lots of rights there. We even had female prime-minister.

Me: You mean Benazir Bhutto? The one that was assassinated? I dont think that a murdered female prime minister is a good example of woman's rights.

Driver: But she provocated to be murderer. If she behaved, nothing would happen.

And that is what i think is the main problem in the views that Poles (and most western societies) have with Pakistanis. They are probably one of the most brutal and violent societies of the world when we talk about woman and non-Muslim rights.

In the head of my ex driver, a woman misbehave is a justification to kill her. And this is not an exception, just google "Woman stoning Pakistan" and you will see how frequent this is.

In a country like Poland, were woman are strong, independent and they CONQUERED their right to freedom fighting alongside with men on the horrors of war, it is just UNTHINKABLE a man subjugate and treat a woman in that way. One of the small gestures that make me see how strong are Polish woman is that my girlfriend EVER splits the bill with me when we go out. EVER. This is something that i just saw before in the south of Brazil (which have a strong Slavic influence btw).

So yeah, maybe a Pakistani can adapt to Poland. But all this traditional, sexist and violent mindset that woman needs to be disciplined by man needs to go to the garbage even before he pass imigration. Or he will have a bad time in Poland.

It is so obvious that we are talking about elementary and high school, that this comparison that you made is ridiculous.

By the way, yeah, britain have two universities in the top 5 but those that study there are not from the failed public education system of english. They are from Eaton and alikes.

Same thing applies for my country. Brazil have 2 universities in the top 200. Poland have none. But in those 2 universities just ultra rich people or extremelly gifted ones (like me) study. The normal student from the public system will never enter there. Same applies to england.

Meanwhile the public student from Poland is much above in terms of quality compared to the public school student from the english system.

It is easy to understand why Krakow is one of the less congested cities :)

It is really something praisable the quality of the public transport in most polish cities. Even more developed countries like USA or Australia could learn a lot with the poles.

Also i think that one of the reasons for that is that most poles doesnt have this stupidity of spend ********* in a car just to impress people and look with a supposed prestige, like in virtually all other countries that i had been.

For me, this think of "i will buy a brand new Bmw so everyone will admire it" is typical of slow brain people that have loan debits behind their back.

My girlfriend lives in Warsaw and she votes in Lodz. She could not vote because she couldn't leave Warsaw.
I also never vote on my elections because i am 6THOUSAND kilometers far away. The same for all the Poles that work here at the same company (probably the biggest amount of Europeans here are poles).

ANd there the list goes.... so dont invent stuff just to justify your opinion.

Great point. That is what, in my opinion, makes the polish society so much stronger today than most western societies (maybe just comparable to the south of USA).

Meanwhile the polish society HAVE their religion and their beliefs so will not accept imposition of Islam or any other religion.
