Life / The "I am never wrong" phenom - is it the Polish thing? [63]

Individual level
Personality disorders (narcissistic, histrionic, psychopaths, borderline...) like that maneuver. shifting the blame, having blind spot for the consequences of their actions.
Those who can feel deep guilt and try to avoid it all costs,
Those who are forbidden to feel guilty for some reasons (i.e. Don't feel X feeling it's for weaklings), and so on...

Culturally, I would guess that more laissez faire environments ( communist past), orthodox background rather than catholic (again, rather than protestant) more rarely trigger guilt.

Genealogy / Polish person's average height? [210]

Nope. I am 183 cm, origins Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.

I know this area well. Montenegrins are the tallest in average.

Law / Divorce in Poland - fault - rights to property predating the marriage [34]

As far as I recall, continental, european law (all that is not anglo saxon, meaning UK and US) says that everything earned in marriage should be divided either in half, or modified to some extent, to match closer incomes during marriage. Wife can claim up to half of everything that man earned during that period (inheritance doesn't count)

I like anglosaxon law, it seems that they protect the female side better legally. Divorce should be expensive.

Everything that they entered marriage with stays their own property. what was his before marriage remains his. Or hers.

And for the person who committed this crime, and psychopathically hurt his family the only adequate punishment is castration.

Hey Natasa! It is good to see you again.

Hello :)), I'm happy to see that you had the will (strength was never an issue) to survive here :) (although, I didn't have doubts about it)

This forum needs Slavic intellectuals

Indeed, it does. I will find someone and invite him/her here :) ( I have a candidate informed well for the discussions)

now, something Slavic for DE and those who like Slavs here ;)))

'Fear passes from man to man
Unknowing,
As one leaf passes its shudder
To another.

All at once the whole tree is trembling,
And there is no sign of the wind.'

News / Is this the first clear and open signal that Poland makes preparations for war with Russia? [163]

Legend, wasn't EU earlier called 'economic giant, political dwarf, military worm'? (now it's shrunken giant, dwarf embryo and military larva ??!!)

My comprehension of international affairs ends with the conclusion that main relevant factor is military power :)) US is on the throne (I read somewhere that its military is stronger than six following countries on the list together). Who ever wanted to abdicate? :) Simplified, but I am just a woman. Fragile, lol.
