Travel / BIG LESSON (I visited and was threatened in Poland) [71]

Seriously? I can't believe that some of you guys are actually buying it lol. All this guy is looking for is a girl to feel sorry for him so he can hook up... I'm telling ya. why else would you write so much of absolutely preposterous crap in a public forum. I’m guessing he was reading PF for a while and he realized how gullible you all are.

USA, Canada / Can you BE Polish without SPEAKING Polish in the US? [256]

You gotta understand something, this is America and none of us supposed to be here, :D hence the “attachment” to the heritage. you know, attachment may be the wrong word for that, it's more like love/hate type of relationship. :p

Law / Any good business ideas - what Poland needs? [114]

I wasn't talking to you a$shole. Jeez some people are so rude on this forum.

anyway, so how is your castle coming along, WB? Perhaps you should think about getting a few English long-bowmen back from home to man the walls. It would add some authenticity to the whole thing, or you could hire someone from India to do that, either way. Indians are cheaper though, and not as lazy, so you know. Hmm, I've heard OP is looking for a job in PL. He's Indian. Here, a 4 step business idea for you:

1) Build an English medieval castle in Poland
2) Men the walls
3) Declare yourself a King of all villages of Wroclaw.
4) Profit :)

Sunil

I think you should start a real estate business. One of our valued members on this forum was quite successful in buying a few sheds in Poland and turning them into 12th century medieval castles with fully operational moats. People tend to steal stuff a lot in PL :( so moats are popular for an obvious reason.

He made enough money to start a Jet Ski rental business in Libya but unfortunately the Jet Ski got confiscated by a group of rebels during the final charge on Gaddafi's headquarters a few moths ago. Small world, anyway, the real estate is the way to go, or better yet, start a 7/11 chain, you can't go wrong with that.

Best of luck.

HI ABU HAMDAN,

I've heard of a similar case where some Arabian dude decided to find a white European wife to marry.
... So the proper Arab in my story went out of his way to make some "friends" in PL in order to find a willing “head of the family" to make a "marriage deal".

Somehow, down the road, everything evolved and got twisted around, kinda like you’ve described.

I know you're trying to go about this the right way but we have different customs. take my advice or most likely you gonna get rip off again, in disgrace...

You really don't have to ask anyone for a permission to marry a girl in PL, or throw money at them.

Go there; find someone you like and if she likes you back then she may move back with you to your sh1thut in the desert. Those are our customs....

No need for a third party, unless it's your new girlfriend’s hot girlfriend but I’m sure that doesn't apply to you because you just need a proper wife.

Anyway, I hope this make sense ABU, btw I had a really good laugh when I read your story. :)

Cuz they have a sh1t load of money and they can afford it. Who is going to pay for your health care and a roof over your head? Me? The Government with my money? Have you heard of Communism and did you know that it doesn't effing work?

They complain about their own country and their government (that they voted for), they leave, and they set up "Little Polands" all over the place, stick together, and b*tch that nothing's like it was back in Poland. The average Pole is chronically unhappy, stubborn, argumentative and continuously whining.

This made me laugh so hard I almost choked on my coffee. LMAO, good old times.

US - Polish! That's US as in US not the US of A. Another fcuking traitor pledging allegiance.

Take it easy buddy, what is it that you want? We let you into our country, let you marry a nice Polish gal and you're still bashing us. We even let you start some business there, which failed miserably; anyway, it was probably your own fault. Aren't you ashamed of yourself now? badmouthing our elders on public forums.

LOL, dude you're such a tool.

BTW, I told you once before that were not going to be able to ever fit in GB again because you got polonized.
I see you're back in Poland.
You better be nice to us Polish now or we ship your as$ to Siberia to live with Delph’s family and Polar bears.

USA, Canada / Where do most Polish-Americans identify on the political spectrum? [142]

No, I meant that you are very Polish in the sense that you were born here, as opposed to just having a busia. Now do you see what I'm asking?

Yes I was born in Poland, I'm the oldest. My brother and sisters were born here. My busia lives in NJ.

Quite possibly. But I find it very relaxing to be completely alone with my own thoughts whenever I want to be, no matter how many people are around me.

Interesting. I would find it highly annoying not being able to understand anyone around me.

And you are a very Polish Polish-American.

I don't know, most people here don't seem to notice my Polishness. Frankly I think that no one really gives a sh1t. I vote for what makes sense to me and that's all.

(that's one of the reasons I avoid going to English-speaking countries, I just love not having to listen to what people around me are saying).

That is a description of ignorance Harry.

Polish-Americans are certainly obsessed with ethnic purity, as witnessed by their attempts to push their Polishness as some sort of superiority.

You my fiend are crazy. LMAO

a) Could you please use more civil language.

I would probably support Civic Platform. I think they're doing a great job.

Harry, I can read Polish and I understand the language pretty well. frankly I probably have a better idea than you do on what is going on there. Please learn some Polish dude. You lived there for almost two decades now. Sorry for my delayed response, I'm still at work.

Nice to see that you couldn't care less about the parliament of the country of which you claim to belong to.

I don't need to know because i don't vote in Poland.

And yet you wonder why Poles snub you?

Anyway, have you seen a comedy titled "Sami Swoi?".
We sense each other miles away and then we huddle closely together. (PF in this case)
Once the group reaches a size of 5 we start to argue, divide, poke each other and b1tch at everything. You on the other hand are just some confused ruski in a foreign country here. lol

I sense that you're not one of us. Also, I can't figure out why you would want to either.

Truthfully, what have most Polish-Americans actually done for Poland?

I'm a productive and a well-respected member of the society. I feel that I represent my Polish heritage really well.

You should be proud of other Polish people like me who live abroad, work hard and create a positive outlook on Poland and her people.

I don't want anything from you. I'm Polish regardless what you say or do. Neither you nor me can change it.

See, I could really ask you the same question. What have you done for Polish-Americans lately?

You know what Dope? I just realized something, it's funny. Why am I even talking to you? You’re Russian right? haha Wow, Yet another Russian is trying to deny me my Polish heritage.

@jacobsgold

Polish people like to whine about stuff. Don't take this too personal. We as a nation feel obligated to whine and when there is nothing to whine about, we still whine because things seem too good to be true. kapish?

i can tell you're Polish too, cause you join PF just to whine about Polish who whine about the US. See, It’s pure madness.

I sense the real issue lies somewhere else entirely. You “British” find Pol-Ams a bit problematic because we tend to support Polish people especially when you try to bully them around. You hate it so much that whenever you get a chance you try to convince everyone on PF that Pol-Ams are not really Polish. OMFG That's some funny sh1t. LMAO. Whatever Dopes and Harrys, debate this all you want, but I tell ya, this one is beyond you all. We just know it better and nothing is going to change it.

UK, Ireland / Polish is an official language in the UK? [68]

The same applies tot them, one rule for all. Britain is the ******* laughing stock of Europe in terms of asylum and benefit laws, bending over backwars to hekp immigrants over the native population.

I've read some of your posts and I believe that you exhibit the typical mindset of a first-gen immigrant who is scared to be identified with the unpopular at the moment group of newcomers.

No Brit I’ve ever known was as detailed in their racist remarks as you were, unless they were somehow “connected” to the subject. Perhaps one of your parents is an immigrant, possibly both, eh?

None of your native and well established English friends are going to neither back your up nor approve of your rant because they have too much to lose. They do not whish to be involved in this filth, so grow up, be a productive member of your society and don't be scared to admit of your own true heritage.

I only consider people Polish-American if they are American citizens with Polish ancestry. Most PolAms I've met have no interest in Polish politics.

I would completely agree with you. I never voted in Polish elections, I didn't even know who was in charge in Poland until the plain crush in Russia when Placek died, or was it Jacek? Anyway, Mr. Dope must be on drugs again so don't listen to him.

But don't get me wrong guys, it doesn't mean I don't care about Poland, I do, but I was just effing too busy working.

Everyone was staring when the tram passed not one but two men performing the other bodily function a few weeks ago in Warsaw. Right in the street, by Most Gdanski. Though you're unlikely to see any signs about that in London, whether in Polish or not.

Have you been to London? London streets paved with ****, and I doubt there are enough Polacks living there to do the job properly.

It is not a stereotype to say that I see more people p1ssing

I apologize for my delayed response; I was detained with my toilet cleaning duties.

Now, how do you know that?

You were raised in the outback and then you immigrated to Poland. Did you mean to say that people in Poland p1ss more in the streets than people who live in the Australian outback?

Well, I have to agree with that because dirt roads are no streets, so yeah, definitely you can’t be p1ssing in streets of Austrailia cause you don’t have any in the first place.

@quote=Mr_Bruxelles

The way I see it you brought up two good points:

1) Polish people p1ss in the streets of London. (btw, I'm a bit surprised that only Polish would ever do that.)
2) Your local government doesn't know what your official language is.

Obliviously a Polish person didn't approve of that sign because most would know how to spell things in Polish.
