Was it one of the big 3 that suggested that Polands eastern border run along Curzon Line Bor was it only the underground government in London which wanted this.

Also Stalin did not promise Poland neither Lwów nor East Prussia.

Stalin originally did offer the whole east prussia to Poland but later changed his mind and gave Poland szczecin and the south part of east prussia to Poland instead.

Well it is well known fact that Stalin promised Poland that it would get Lwow, East Prussia and free elections but in the end Poland got none of that.

No I am not suggesting that Poland trys to take other countries only retrieve city like Lwow which was promised to Poland by Soviets.

That has nothing to do with kresy thats an issue with Germany not Ukraine, Belarus ect. But if the Germans want it back there more then welcome to try and take it and see what happens ;)

since they could not possibly have existed since Poland did not exist

Just because was stolen for for a couple of hundred years dosent mean it didnt exist before the first polish state was created in 966 by Mieszko I .But I guess he wasnt polish becuase they didnt exist until 1919 .... well according to you anyway ;)

Kraków is a ukrainian city given to the Poles by Germans.

I suppose Warsaw was a Russian city and it was kindly given to Poland after ww1 ;)

As you can see when kresy was part of Poland it had many different types of people why would you what these people to leave they have just as much right to live there as poles do.

wouldn't you try to get back land, well house of your family, forcibly stolen from you? I bet you would...

That is the past if kresy was to become part of Poland or a single state.We would have ot accept that there are Belorussians and Ukrainians living and learn to live with them it wouldnt be far to kick them out.

Yes, as opposed to being completely absorbed by the Russians like the neighbors to the east.

Poland was still under soviet influence considering Poland was promised free elections and Lwow maybe it was better off then the soviet republics but I wouldn't call it lucky.

it is a better idea to help these countries develop so they can become more economically productive

It isn`t impossible in Slavic Confederation with Warsaw as capital and Polish language as official.

Crow you seem obsessed with something " Slavic Confederation" that wont happen for happen for a number of reasons the first being that Russia would never join a confederation of any kind where Poland or any country for that fact had a major influence over it.Also you seem to think that Poland needs and wants Serbians help for some reason if Serbia were to disappear from the map it wouldn't make a difference to Poland.If anything it is Serbia which needs Poland's help not the other way around.

Poland's population if anything is decreasing it dosent have enough people to take back Lwow , Brest ect let alone Moscow.

well Ukraine but in general East Ukraine is influenced by the Kremlin and it would be unreasonable to think that the eastern part of Ukraine would join a "slavic"union with Poland if Russia did not join.

Speaking on the radio station RMF FM, the former Solidarity leader said that it would be a "disaster" for Poland if Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the identical twin of Lech Kaczynski, the Polish president killed in an April plane crash, won.

"Kaczynski is an irresponsible and dangerous politician," said Mr Walesa. "We could pay a high price if he wins."

Mr Walesa's attack came just hours after Mr Kaczynski won 36.7 per cent of the vote in the first round of Poland's presidential elections. He came just 5 per cent behind Bronislaw Komorowski, his main rival for the post.

With neither candidate securing an absolute majority, the two will face each other in a run-off vote on July 4.

Nazi Germany&and Soviet Union doesn't exist so you got that one wrong

neither does the second republic or the peoples republic anymore ;) and germans and russians still exist but they could hardly be conceded winners or losers.
