that is not true, but the chance of becaming Lwów part of Poland is a little bigger than chance of return Szczecin to Germany...

No, I mean fixing the German cities before you talk about Lwow... Lwow is a fixer-upper. There are still a couple of renovation projects underway, Wroclaw is one of them. Maybe get that out of the way first.

Poalnd can get back all those land they decided that belongs to them and keep all those taking from others and call them 'stolen from the polish in the first place'. But the reality is, can Poland afford them? If you take back Lwow, Poland will have to invest and ensure the city will be much better than now? Is it possible? If Poland can't manage all the cities/towns/villages within her border at the moment, why try to get some more? You think EU will give you more money for it?

For the past thousands of years, many borders had changed because of war. When finally majority of this world stop fighting for this matter, then why can't Pole just accept the border now and work hard to make what you got now world class?

Poland can barely afford to deal with some of the really deprived areas - let alone dealing with a huge, underdeveloped area. Anyone that's actually been to the area around Lwów can see that there's crushing poverty in the villages - how could Poland afford to integrate that when she's struggling to deal with the problems in poorer provinces?

As somebody who has ridden a Harley motorcycle into Ukraine i can tell you the Ukrainians would be more than happy to have the Polish roads there....The holes and ruts there are a legend....Anyone who moans about the state of Polish roads should try driving in Ukraine....

You would like to get Lwów and do what exactly? Re-settle it with Poles?
(where would you get those Poles? millions of youngsters left Poland and
the birth rate is so low that we're practically dying out).
Expel the Ukrainians who live there? Or just leave them there and create
a huge ethnic minority inside Polish borders?

So maybe we should leave history to historians and move on? Besides - we have enough
poor and under-developped regions of our own without incorporating western Ukraine.

So are the holes in the road in Olsztyn.

Anyone who moans about the state of Polish roads should try driving in Ukraine....

Am I to understand it that whilst Polish roads have huge holes, Uklrainian roads have bits of road sticking out of a long, giant hole?

Would it be any different to the German population in there former territories.

Ukrainians don't want to be part of Poland, and it won't change in the future. I understand you want to acquire Lwów in peaceful way - it won't happen.

Ukrainians don't want to be part of Poland,

They might change there mind if Ukraines economy gets worse and it is already bad at the moment and Poland economy rises.

Do you mean that Ukrainians should be expelled like the Germans were?

But you see, my revisionist friend, Ukrainians didn't start a world war
that took the lives of millions and millions of people around the world,
so I'm afraid you don't have a good excuse for conducting ethnic
cleansing on them.

Besides, as I mentioned before - we had settlers from our eastern lands
to populate Pomerania or Lower Silesia after the war and a very high
birthrate back then. Right now we should think what to do to stop the
dying out of our nation.

In the 1960's Poland and Turkey had similar populations (of about 30 million).
Today there are twice as many Turks as Poles and despite all those retards
talking about 'over-population', Turkey has a quickly growing economy and
farming that is self sufficient to feed their population and still export food.

If muslims ever take over Poland, it will be because of people like you, who
dream about taking Lwów instead of first having a lot of children and raising
them to be good Poles.

Rant over.

No i wouldn't have a problem with any Ukrainians in Lviv if it became part of Poland again we are practically the same people i don't see why it would be a problem i was actually refer to the fact there German minorities in former German territories such as Wroclaw so i don't think having Ukrainians in Lviv would a problem if it was returned to Poland and by the way i am not talking about it being returned tomorrow i talking about in 20 years time.

No, Wroclaw, Szczecin and many towns - German as you say - had been destroyed by Red Army and rebuild by Poles without Marshall help :)

Lwów on the other hand had been left on the Soviet side of the border intact and had been left to rot away slowly, since 1991 neglected by Ukrainians, those nazi ******* are good enough to invest money into monuments and books, organization - all about Bandera and others criminals and murderers.

They do not care (with Canadian;s nationalist help) about state of Lwów - that the yet another prove that the town do not belong to them.

you

are male or female are ukrainian or polish ?miranda?

Talking about Lwow I'm not talking about means to achieve it.And nobody ask me that question yet, except BB:)
All jump to the next step....can we afford it and all.
Well let me tell you - I'm only talking about one issue - Lwów should belong to Poland.
So, far nobody (except Nathan) contested that claim.
That all I'm saying, nobody seemed to notice it:)

A huge ethnic minority that will be significantly against the Polish state - as a minimum, Poland would have to grant considerable autonomy to the region. And when they do that, other provinces will demand similar autonomy. Within 30 years, you'd have a similar situation to Spain arising.

No i wouldn't have a problem with any Ukrainians in Lviv if it became part of Poland again we are practically the same people

Blimey, you obviously don't live in Europe.

They might change there mind if Ukraines economy gets worse and it is already bad at the moment and Poland economy rises.

No they won't. People in Lwow are fiercely proud of their country - and they would much rather live in poverty than be part of another country. Given that Ukranians have waited hundreds of years for their own nation, why would they give it up?

Poland would be far better off following the German model - accept it, and just buy everything in sight instead. See also : Wroclaw.
