MG's writing career on PF was a false alarm

MG has produced one part of Omnibus and promised another one. So far we have not heard from him. I think he is NOT coming back anymore because he found out that writing is work and since he is not getting paid, he is not going to bother. It is a pity because he was easy target to tease and now I have to find another "victim".

DTaylor resurfaces

Our Scottish friend "beammed" or "transported" himself to Ireland all the way from Krakow. He either likes challenges or did something in Krakow and he is NOT telling us about it. Some kind of Polish brigade had something to do with his departure, or he simply dated all the available women in Krakow and the supply has dried up. We will never know. He is not telling us. I am sure that speculation is much more interesting then the truth.

What is new.

Not much. Lodz is creating more redundant threads - the latest one is about tigers and I don't even want to ask him what is coming next.

PF women have matured (or getting more attention outside of the forum)

Wyspi has grown up and matured and does not call people names, unless she does and I don't read all her posts.
Justysia has calmed down too. In general, most women on PF have calmed down. It must be due to a smaller amount of annoying males who used to frequent this forum. Who knows. It is also possible that they just run out of steam. Not the women. The mucho-psychos.

Wildrover has found another Russian beauty but for some reason wants to meet her in the Ukraine. I guess Ukraine is the new love destination, since Paris and Venice have become things of the past. What about Petersburg or Mongolia?

Undeserved suspention

Southern FINALLY got suspended and we all know that if someone gets suspended on PF - it takes approximately 3 years or so. In other foras - it takes ONE word, or else - and they are NOT kidding. On the serious note about Southern: he reminds me of a person who has only one thing in his mind and we all know how Marquis de Sade ended up. Be careful young boy- the whole life is ahead of you and it is up to you if you want to be in, or out.

It a a looney bin most of the time, but sometime we get lucky. Sometimes a non-suspecting intelligent poster decides to join the forum and it does not take him a long time to realize that this forum is indeed a scene out of the "One fly over the cuckoo nest". We are all here by mistake and the "nurses" and "doctors" are the ones who are crazy. Only we had enough instinct to find this island of sanity in the crazy world of cyber space. How smart and self -preserving we are.

every time I see her nick, I want to say Krysia because Ksysia feels rather strange for the Polish speaker. When I say Ksysia, I feel that suddenly I have regressed to times in the kindergarden, when I could only say Ksysia after I lost a tooth in the fight in the sand. Good old times and takes Ksysia (shrug) for bringing them back.

It would be nice if it was longer, especially when writing Omnibus entries. I usually write it as a separate document, then once it is ready, I copy and paste, but this time around I did not. However, if I am the only one having this problem I don't see a reason why the editing time should be changed.

sounds like a generalization to me and there was a time when there were some annoying males posters who would come just to bash females on PF. So.......we have a different take on the same issue.

MG - what would those people do with their lives if they did not have a Jewish scapegoat to fall on. I know that you find it annoying being half - Jewish but you need to see the dynamics behind it.

Well, there are hardly any Jews in Poland at the moment, so they cannot even defend themselves and when they try, they are accused of creating the Holocust industry and benefitting from it. How awful of them!!!!

"Us" against "them" functions well in an unequal type of dynamics. Some Poles are envious of the Jewish success, but unaware of the fact that for centuries Jews were suppressed and served as scapegoats to many nationalities, so they finally deserve to have a break and live like everybody else. Most Jewish I met work very hard.

So, it is NOT about Jews but about how some Poles feel about their lives. I don't think it has anything to do with being primitive, but rather being unaware of their own weaknesses.

Besides, in the past I accommodated the Polish anti-Semitic way of thinking but it just DID not sit well with my values, so I gave myself some time to think about it, had some exposure to Jewish people and I came to the conclusion and I am not anti- Semitic at all. See, once we are grown- ups , we can make a decision to come to our own conclusions, instead of repeating what other say/think.

I know what you are saying and my post was not intended to disregard Russian culture. You are Russian, so it only makes sense that some people will be happy to speak some Russian to you and mention that they learnt Russian and school and so on. You cannot disregard the fact the Poles HAD to learn Russian at school, so there maybe some people, who would not want to use that language as a way of communication, unless they had no other choice. However, the OP is NOT Russian, but an English speaker, so it would make sense that he would be trying to communicate in his own language. I think that he was trying to find out if those two languages are similar, so he can communicate in Russian with Poles more so then in English. They are not that similar, but I guess OP will find out once in Poland.

I don't have to be fluent in Polish to understand the comments happily provided by many Poles on PF as a proof of their anti- Semitism. Those statements are enough for me to come to conclusion that those Poles who post against Jews here ARE indeed anti- Semitic in their way of thinking. They provide more then enough evidence about their hate.

Presuming that I need to be full blown Polish with speaking it fluently the language and living on Poland in order to understand the Polish way of thinking is a really flawed argument on your part. A contra - argument: real Polish people who live in Poland might not be able to understand the way of thinking of their fellow country men for many reasons. Therefore being Polish (living in Poland and speaking Polish) does not guarantee the ability to understand anything. Don't you agree?:)


I was mainly referring to Polish posters on PF, full blown Poles, who are after all the representatives of the Polish society. As for loosing respect on your part for me having an opinion, which is grounded on a large number of posts of PF- well, that is really not an issue for me, but a proof that maybe I have touched on something that is still painful for some Poles to admit.

I have never claimed that all Polish people are anti- Semitic. Some have simply too little exposure in order to develop any real antagonism. Those who are have probably had little exposure as well, considering the fact that the majority of Jew residing in Poland prior to WW2 are not longer there. Therefore, the image of the Jew in Poland has little to do with reality.

Here are some red flags I have noticed:


It sounds too intense, obsessive, unreal and too perfect. Something is up.

You have only known him for ONE month and you are planing his life with him. I would SLOW down and start thinking what YOU really want.

He seems to be a good player because he sounds to perfect. There is not such a thing as a perfect person, so be careful because you are living in a fairly tale land for now.

Maybe he is working so hard on you because you are a challenge (don't want to have sex before marriage). It seems that he is succeeding in "breaking" your defenses down.
