I was recently at a gathering and one of my friends told someone that I'm originally from Poland. The guy turns around and asks "Are you from Poland, Ohio because that's where I was born?"

If people don't know where Poland is all you have to do is mention the Beloved Paul John Paul II and they all know where his is from.

In my college years I met a few foreign exchange students who asked me where I was from and they thought Poland was somewhere in Asia. I mention I came from the same

country where the Pope is from and they automatically knew it.

It all depends on our genes. Okay, my father's family is tall. His parents were 6'9(205cm) and 6'5 (196cm). My father and I are both 6'1 (186cm) and my youger sister 6'0(183cm).

Now, my mother side of the family is average I think. My mom is 5'7(170cm) and my oldest sister is 5'8 (173cm). My son who just turned 11 is as tall as my oldest sister and still growning.

Like I said it's all in the genes. :)

It hurt me more to know that I was the cause for his marriage to fall apart, but once I did I worked my hardest to get them back together. I actually pissed him off so much that I did drive him back to her.

RazZ I never said they were. I know many who cheat on their boyfriends or husbands and I don't agree with it. Hey, I had a hard time dealing with my ex who was married.

My prayers go out to the families. I heard about this story on the radio. The motive for the murder was "financial gain." Yeah, right!! It seems to me more like racial hatred and prejudice. In a perfect world, their marriage would be accepted and celebrated. However, this world does not look at all marriages as love between two people without regard to their race and two innocent people lost their beautiful lives. How sad. :(

I was born in Rzeszów and lived there for 10 years then came to the states with dad and older sister while leaving Mom and younger sister behind. The family was separated for 14 years.
