Life / Is the word "Polack"rascist? [185]

I have never experienced beeing called Polack, one boy cycling called me a nazi once (wanted to woop his face but as I said he was cycling) and when I started in a new School they called me Jordbærplukker but that's just because they didn't know me as a person and there are many jordbærplukkers in this district who are Polish (Jordbærplukker=Strawberry gatherer). In person I don't see that word much offensive cause it shows Norwegians lazyness :D but it's the slave-perspective humor I dislike

THeir sooo narrowminded but they tell themself that they are sooo openminded -_-

Here in Greece we thing Polish people are open-minded, friendly-nice, and intelligent. So no stereotypes here.

This is about Poles stereotypes of others! Such commenting is also cool tho if it was negative! Greece has still too many philosopers! Their too intelligent! :(

I sometimes hear Poles refer to Swedes as non-believing atheists

Well I think it's very common all over Scandinavia :S
The wierdest thing is that Norway has state religion: Protestant = 2/3 of ministers has to be protestant and the king also. The only reason it's not abolished yet is that the goverment has control over the church! It's terrible and they say we got free religion!! My @$$

Hmmmmmmmm, if it was about Norway for instence it would been rational since it has a long coastline. But if you haven't NOTICED Poland allmost borders with other countries through land ONLY. Sweden won't do any new deluge so only reason to have a strong navy = to invade Petersburg. Aircraft carriers? Poland needs none of em since it has airforce bases and there are no Polish colonies... Where is the Army list (LAND) btw I really wonder why you didn't take that one up.

Using lances was popular but that was not until lances from Austrian army men was captured.
An interessting info for our "Tyske" friend. The German Ulans where do they originate from? (Or was it Uhlans?)

Life / Reasons for moving to Poland [291]

British doctors very good? that's a good one! Last year when i've had pneumonia and was coughing my guts out, one of the symptoms was that i was very weak and dizzy. I was told to lie down and take paracetamol

WTH? You could get a pracetamol?! I just have to drink water and wait until it's over!
I am starting to think their are shortages of medicine in Norway... I should move to Poland

Also ive have been reading some of this, main problem for many western people in Poland is the thing of not funding a minority. Here in Norway there are organized minorities (Church etc) or even events! I bet you could sample up a bunch of Irish people toghether, and they wouldn't mind it :)
