Turkey is a secular country and the rules are not sharia. On the other hand, sharia does not mean all rules comes from Kuran. There are many fictitious rules which were set down by so-called religion masters. That is same in every religion.
And islam in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran or Indonesia are all different in practice.

First of all I am very sorry for him. R.I.P. This very sad event happened before Galatasaray-Red Star basketball match in istanbul. Two fanatic fan groups of two teams meet in front of the saloon and started to fight. He was killed with a knife during this fight. It is not about his race. It could happen between any other fan groups. As far as I know although it is very difficult to find the killer as there were hundreds of fan from each side at that moment, police manage to find the suspect. I hope he will be punished.
Every Europeans know that what happened in France can not be possible in Turkey. But of course, this maniacs are everywhere in the world now. We Turks also not feel comfortable like other Europeans.

Killings were mutual Crow. In Balkan Wars Serbs and Bulgarians killed many Turks, Russians killed too many Turks for centuries. We have to draw a line to the history and look forward. I personally visited Russia and Serbia and had nice times there. If you step one to Turks, Turks step two.
I think you should visit Turkey. Do not afraid your nationalistic feelings will not decrease but you will see that Turks and Slavs have more common sides in terms of way of living. I see US empire as a big threat not only to Turkey but also all world. I am happy to have close relations with our historically worst enemy Russia today.

Those generals were not only secular but also patriots.
When Erdoğan started to shout Israel and Turkish-Israel relations became very problematic, USA take her support back from Erdoğan and Gülen movement who was the partner of Erdoğan released the corruption cd's, telephone records about Erdoğan and his ministers.
He made people believe that this is a game against him and manage to block Youtube, Twitter etc.
Now, I do not think that his position will let him do everything from now on. The election in 2015 is very important and we will see the future of him and Ak Parti.

Exactly Paulina. Turkey and Poland are strenghening their friendship. I am happy to see that. There were lots of activites, exhibitions, films, concerts in Turkey about Poland and many Turkish people attended them with pleasure.
Our countries have great potantials, being in EU or not, it is a win win process and this will be seen in the future.
On the other hand, Erdoğan does not mean Turkish state. Yes, he is very strong nowadays but who knows what will happen 10 years later. He can not change the secular system in Turkey. That is impossible.
This year Polish president was on a two day visit with his wife in Turkey to celebrate the 600th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

It is right that Greece is recovering. Turkey has some financial problems today after 10 years of fast growth. The main difference between two folks is Turks are hard working while Greeks like to enjoy life. Besides, Turkey is an industrialized country, where Greece mainly depend on tourism. So, Turkey's economic problems end within 1-2 years. Not comparable with Greece experience.
Turkey behaved very friendly to Greece during the deep economic crises she faced and do not want to benefit from it. Turks contributed to tourism incomes of Greece. Millions of Turks visited aegean islands and Athens during this period and spent a lot of money.
Personally, I see Greeks as our neighbours and do not feel any negative feelings about them. I am quite sure we can drink rakı/ouzo, eat fish and have a nice conversation if we meet.

In that period of history all nations had done these kind of killings. Stop provocating Poles against Turks. We have very good relations today.
Turks beat Serbs at Kosovo battle. After the war, while Sultan 1.Murat was walking in the war field examining the situation, one of injured Serbs, killed him with his knife.
His innards were burried in Kosovo, near Pristina and his body brought to İstanbul. He has two cemeteries. We do not think that this is a disrespect to his memory.
Serbs destroyed his tomb after Balkan Wars. But today it is renovated and open to the visitors.

Anybody who has an average IQ can understand that I did not mention physical similarities between ancient and today Greeks. I just mentioned that while ancient ones were smart and productive, Greeks today are losers. You see you could not understand even this as a poor Greek.
On the other hand, you do not have enough information about Turks and Turkish history so it is better do not make any comment about it.

Todays Greeks are mostly lazy people. They use the influence on west civilisation as they are the founders of their civilization and benefited from that for years. Like a spoilt child of West World, they did not produce but spend. Here is the result today.
On the other hand, we Turks have been working hard for years in order to establish a modern country and even our previous state collapsed just 100 years ago we are still a main actor at least in our region.
You do the same thing here talking about your ancient ancestors and try to make a prestige over them. As I said before I do not see any similarities between todays Greeks and ancient ones. EU must be bored of your trade upon ancient greek civilization and rob them.

But we want to have good economic and political relations with all Balkan countries. We have strong ties with all of them.
