Polonia / POLES vs BULGARIANS [160]

Bulgarianlion, you say Bulgarians hate Turks but I am sure you do not have any idea that proto-bulgars were Turkic. You are just Slavized Turks ;)

Love / Turkish girl & Polish guy marriage. Will his parents ever accept me as a non Christian female? [42]

Turkey is a secular country and the rules are not sharia. On the other hand, sharia does not mean all rules comes from Kuran. There are many fictitious rules which were set down by so-called religion masters. That is same in every religion.

And islam in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran or Indonesia are all different in practice.

As a result a muslim Turkish women can marry with a Polish man.

History / History behind Poland and Turkey's Relationship [118]

How then was Erdogan able to get all these generals arrested? How was he able to block YouTube and Twitter in Turkey? I believe that was just the beginning; especially now that he was "elected" (cough, cough) president.

Erdoğan did not do it alone. He did it with the help of Gulen Movement who serves to CIA. Erdoğan and USA was working together in that years ;)

Those generals were not only secular but also patriots.

When Erdoğan started to shout Israel and Turkish-Israel relations became very problematic, USA take her support back from Erdoğan and Gülen movement who was the partner of Erdoğan released the corruption cd's, telephone records about Erdoğan and his ministers.

He made people believe that this is a game against him and manage to block Youtube, Twitter etc.

Now, I do not think that his position will let him do everything from now on. The election in 2015 is very important and we will see the future of him and Ak Parti.

History / History behind Poland and Turkey's Relationship [118]

This year Polish president was on a two day visit with his wife in Turkey to celebrate the 600th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

Exactly Paulina. Turkey and Poland are strenghening their friendship. I am happy to see that. There were lots of activites, exhibitions, films, concerts in Turkey about Poland and many Turkish people attended them with pleasure.

Our countries have great potantials, being in EU or not, it is a win win process and this will be seen in the future.

On the other hand, Erdoğan does not mean Turkish state. Yes, he is very strong nowadays but who knows what will happen 10 years later. He can not change the secular system in Turkey. That is impossible.

Genealogy / Mongolian the Golden Horde - do Poles have Mongolian ancestry? [256]

They made it few time to strike deeply into territory of Poland and Hungary. It was in 13th and 14th after that the only Tatars attacking Polish Territory (now part of Ukrainian) came from their settlement on Crimea and those attacks were nothing more than rides to rob or steal people to sell them on Ottoman Empire slave markets. So if there were DNA admixture it was on the Ottoman Turkish and Tatar population not the other way around or seldom.

Huns, Avars, proto-bulgars and Khazars were the Turkic folks who had lived in that geography. On the other hand, Ottomans ruled Crimea, Podolia, todays Odessa, and east of crimea that means almost all the South parts of Ukraine. So Ironside, you need to read a couple of books too :)

History / Khazar migrations to Eastern Poland, Belarus, and Ukraine [106]

Turks knows very well that Khazars are Turkic Jews. They are not semitic ethnically.

I ignore what Anti-Semitic Turks "know".

I am talking about an historical reality. Khazars were Turkic and they choose judaism.

I completely agree with you. We have to improve trade and direct investments between us. Both countries have this potential.
Thanks for the links.

Turkish tea is one of the symbols of Turkish friendship.

American author Katherine Branning who wrote a book about Turkish tea tells it perfectly at the link below.

Here is a brief article for Turkish-Polish relations and friendship.

I think they will have chance of being in the first pot in group stages as a host country. That means countries like Spain, Germany, Netherlands will not be in Poland's group. They have to use this chance.

Have you travelled a lot in Europe Seanus ? Any plan for visiting Turkey ?

History / History behind Poland and Turkey's Relationship [118]

I did not follow their preparation and friendly matches but I can not say Poland is weak football country when I take into consideration their past performances. I remember very good players like Lato, Boniek, Zmuda, Smolarek.

If they can pass group stage, everything can happen.

I am against labelling too. I did not ask with a prejudice or a negative thinking. I asked as I found his opinions interesting. I am sure he understood me.

Very nice. But unfortunately very naive and utopic too. I mean agnostic humanists will not be a majority in the world. A great mutation of human race is needed :)

It is interesting that you obsessively puke your hatred to Turks every day, while as Turkish posters of the forum we are talking about improving friendship among Balkan nations and Turkey.

While thousands of Serbian rapers are still walking freely in the streets of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis and other Serbian cities in the 21th century, you are talking about murders of middle age.

Shame on you.

really? no bad press today about the huge defeat? heard that the press already fired your national coach???

Of course we do not blame Croatia for this defeat. They play perfect, deserved this win and were applauded.

Yes, as I told before Hiddink is the most responsible person for this defeat and not only the press but all Turks are waiting without patience for his resignation or fired.

whom do you not look with sympathy these days? ;)

Pesonally, I do not look with sympathy to France, Germany, Israel and USA. It is not about the folks of these countries but their governments and/or state policies for sure.

Why?

Blows my totally uninformed stereotype of Turkish women out of the water....

She looks shy, deep, give a distance, refined, noble but modest. This is very common Turkish women look.
