SGH is a good school. Their MBA program is one of the best in Poland and living in Warsaw enables you
to get a well paid job teaching English at hours to suit as opposed to flipping burgers or doing a crap part time
job

The qualification is recognised throughout Europe

contrast this with many Polish medical schools offering degrees being taught in English where the standards have dropped so much that their medical
degrees are not being accepted any more in many countries

a friend of mine just moved to Wroclaw and she was fluent in Polish, English and Dutch. She is working for HP.

why not contact a few firms and see if anyone wants business English with business training as part of the package - that way you can recycle the material you learned on your MBA

your English is more than good enough for you to teach other business people in Poland. Remember not everyone is looking to speak the Queen's English.

They are looking for European business English - ie very few idioms, few phrasal verbs,
there is a real rarity for anyone to teach business social English (what we used to call small talk) in Poland

people are living too long and the birthrate is too low to expect state pensions to provide anything more than utter poverty and if you go for a private pension, you are equally screwed when the stock market takes a dive just as you retire, like now for example

we will see if developers start to go bankrupt.

developers did not go belly up in 2008 as Poland was not really suffering during
the recession. in fact Poland more or less escaped untouched. Let's see if the Swiss Franc mortgage repayments have any influence
as that was a factor that was not problematic back in 2008

friends of mine in the industry are planning that developers are going to fold and that the market is
going to take a down turn. who knows if they are right or not.

one thing for sure is that you cannot possibly compare Ireland with its shameless overspending and ridiculously lapse lending

you need a phone, computer and a chair and you are in business
your foreign language skills would come in handy that is for sure

the problems with MBA programs is that they prepare candidates to work in large corporations and rather stifle entrepreneurial spirit
in addition, everyone seems to have one nowadays so they are not the golden passport that they once were and there are some utterly terrible MBA programs in Poland. Wroclaw is a good one though

in many countries the university makes good connections with employers who visit the school and take 'the pick of the litter'
in Polish MBA schools you are rather left to your own devices

you can pay rent your entire life and never have anything to show for it except making your landlord richer
you have to weigh up whether you want to own your own place when you retire
as you will have trouble paying for the rent once you stop working

The situation with the house prices in Poland generally is that the sellers believe that their house is worth a certain
inflated price and will not budge. It will have to take something drastic like major developers going bust
to kick start price reductions. The developers will get desparate and flood the market with low price new builds.
the build quality will go to hell as they will order inferior windows etc, cut down on cement in the mortar etc in
order to save money

you have to remember that unlike the UK and the States if you cannot pay your mortgage you cannot
walk away and post the keys back to the bank. The bank gets a low price at an auction but at least
they got something and asks the government to bail them out

In Poland a debt collection company will chase you for the
rest of your natural life whilst your house gets sold at the best price on the open market.

absolutely correct
the spitfire was more manouverable and faster than the hurricane therefore the spitfires were intended the tackle the ME109s leaving the hurricanes to deal with the German bombers. The German bombers were the more serious threat as in the early days of BoB they were tasked with bombing the British airfields so it does not matter how good your pilots are, if they cannot return to base to refuel and rearm, you are in serious trouble

The hurricane was such a sturdy plane that one pilot who had run out of ammo used the hurricane's wing to smash a German bomber's tail to pieces causing it to crash

the 2012 footie cup was the perfect excuse to have the roads finished in Poland by a concrete deadline

they still hope to link Poznan to the German border by next year and some of the train stations are getting spruced up but apart from that

you are happy to eat meat as long as someone has done your dirty work for you

as far as I am aware the hunting circles in Poland can shoot game on another's farmer land unlike in the UK

the game belongs to the region as opposed to the farmer those crops they are helping themselves to

hunting towers cost money to build so once the hunters learn that you are scaring all the game away they will hopefully move the tower to another place

it is waste of resources to have a tower where they are not going to be able to shoot anything from
