Life / Why are so many Polish People rude on the internet? [141]

A truly breathtaking number of Poles are absolute C*NTS on the internet.

Here is an example:

Read the comments on this video. The video itself is by a scumbag 'content creator' (Pole living in the UK) who basically creates videos that encourage Poles to say awful things about Brits, while stroking their nationalist egos. Very common stuff online - Poles love this crap.

The comments section for this video (and others) is just nasty remark after nasty remark by Poles, exercising their vindictive nature online where they won't get a split lip. I am not a violent person or a tough guy but if I heard them talking about British women like this in real life (which they're too cowardly to do), I'd smash their faces in immediately. That's my mother, sister and every other British woman they're talking about. Night night, Jakub.

What's worst about this is that Poles wouldn't accept this kind of behaviour from anyone else in their country. I cannot imagine Poles putting up with this from Brits or Ukrainians living in Poland, but apparently they feel perfectly relaxed with doing it in the UK. Some of them even use their real names - which is very silly of them, because I'm pretty tempted to start Googling and contacting employers. See what your 'Angol' boss thinks about your comments about his wife and daughter.

It's hilarious that often the Polish guys who are so quick to make these comments aren't the winners of the generic lottery - it's fat old guys with more hair on their faces than their head, and features straight out of Jim Henson's workshop, or troglodytic bald fellas that look like Gollum's been hitting the weight rack. Somehow they still have the immense confidence to chat absolute sh*t, though - same way many outspoken Polish critics of British food can just about boil a pack of those awful parowki (if their mum/wife opens it for them first). Complete and utter jokers.

The internet is clearly not a place where the Polish nation/diaspora can be trusted to behave themselves. I am so sick of them and their stupid xD emoticon and their "hihi" and all their other sh*t, attached to nasty little comments. Total c*nts.

More charming comments about British women from Polish pr*cks - presumably under their real names too, the MENSA members. They must really want to get battered to f*ck on the streets of whichever sh*tty little town they live and work in as manual labourers. Real clever guys.

More brave, handsome Polaks who feel like insulting British women on the internet. What true Polish gents.

If you feel like contacting employers, prosze - go at it.

@Tlum
Do they make entire videos about it on social media and then fill the comments section with spiteful, nasty ****? I've only ever seen Poles do that. Maybe they need to GTFO of my country before, y'know, people find out what they've been saying about us. Under their real names on the internet. Such clever Polish guys.

Copium. Occum's razor - these guys are just idiots. Regardless though, if some people - even the wrong ones - start facing consequences, the rest might be a little more scared to insult the people of the nation they live in on the internet. I have precisely zero sympathy for Poles right now because I'm so tired of reading the **** they post every second of every day everywhere.

@Bobko
Lol!!! Excellent

As well as the looks-based slights btw, you also have numerous Marcins with no doubt world-class bobby orange and faces only matko could love, who claim British women are 'masakra' because they won't stay chained up in the kitchen all day every day making him kotlet schabowy for his obiad and washing the skidmarks out of his boksery. Oh no, terrible stuff for stary over there.

@jon357 you're right, it's a bit suss - I'm clearly a Russian agent too. Gotta make a ruble somehow, eh? Or maybe, just maybe, it's Poles being dicks and I'm right to be annoyed.

Why do I read it? It's hard not to encounter it, they're very prolific - clearly we live in these Poles' minds rent-free. Why should I have to see this crap all over the internet?

Instagram, Facebook, sodding TikTok, you name it. Everywhere but on the streets and in the pubs of Britain where Dave and Rob might just make them regret it.

Poles would never tolerate this **** from foreigners in Poland. You know that exactly as well as I do. They think they're special, though.

Yeah, maybe Reform voters do but it's another level to live in another country which your people have populated to such an extent that you have your own dedicated section in every big supermarket and trash talk the native population relentlessly. Again, can you even imagine Poles accepting this kind of thing from the Ukrainians? There'd be blood on the streets and you know that

No mordo, I'm posting this from a Kremlin basement. Yes, I am in Poland, which is why I can say these things with absolute conviction and why it's especially horrible to see Poles going to town on my people/country all over the internet all the time with such evident glee.

@jon357
Well, I'm sorry, maybe I need to be more zen and curate my online existence impeccably, because that seems to be the only way to avoid Poles being rude as f*ck about us, our women, our food, our weather, our culture, just about everything. I think I have a right to be annoyed and I think I have a right to raise it here. The clue is in the post title.

Or maybe, just maybe, I'm not the one being a c*nt here - they are. The way Poles behave online, flagrantly, makes me want to cut up my residency card. I hope they feel proud of that.

Maybe some of it's the inferiority complex sometimes but a lot of them genuinely think they're hot sh*t. Their heads are ballooning even further in recent years due to overseas racists telling them Poland is the best place in Europe because it doesn't have much non-European immigration. That's another topic but also one that doesn't make me feel good about living here and also makes social media an absolute nightmare right now if you're not a flag-f*cking Polish nationalist (which make up about 80% of the population) or a non-Polish nazi. This country makes me so tired.

Life / What do Poles really think about cats? [470]

Many of them seem to think liking cats is a bit weird and maybe a bit deviant (feminine if it's a man) and they're shifty creatures somehow - not like dogs, which are good and solid animals, which everyone must of course love - and you have to just tolerate these beautiful creatures' stinking feces everywhere and not mind when they bring them to the pub or a cafe, where they run around chasing each other and making ear-splitting barks every five f*cking seconds.

Basically, Poles are to dogs as the ancient Egyptians were to cats. And, like Catholicism (their other religion), there's only room for one animal god.

@Miloslaw
When was the last time someone's cat - of a breed literally bred for violence - ripped a small child's face off? Now when was the last time someone's ridiculous German camp guard dog / husky / gigantic overseas breed, kept cooped up in a 40m2 "two room apartment" until it was completely and utterly insane, did the same?

When was the last time you found yourself dodging piles of cat sh*t littering the street of a residential Warsaw/Krakow neighbourhood?

Poles' dog pathology is ABSOLUTELY WILD. They worship these horrible, stinking things and just let them run riot.

News / Will Elon Musk apply for political asylum in Poland or Russia? [31]

Poland - he probably thinks it's so "safe and clean" - the current code-term Nazis like him use for "overwhelmingly white, conservative and Christian".

We'll see how his South African constitution copes with his first six-month winter, though. He'll be right back in Trump's Twitter DMs asking for a pardon.

I very, very rarely see cats strolling about. Sometimes I see them in people's windows. I feel like being a cat in Warsaw must be like being Will Smith in I Am Legend, with all the bloody dogs everywhere. Poor little f*ckers - when one set of people in the block have one of those Nazi camp dogs and the others have a sodding Tibetan mastiff (both kept in tiny flats until they're totally bonkers, of course), it must not make for a feeling of general relaxation and safety.

Thank you and likewise - enjoying your comments greatly!

I'll stick around until the Poles discover my true identity and I'm publicly executed in Stadion Narodowy for criticising the national passtime of internet sh*t-talking, showing insufficient reverence for the nation's martyrology, or something else that enrages the world champions of "dishing it out but not being able to take it".

One of the reasons I like Bielany (other than it's just a nice, relatively cute place, at least by Warsaw standards) is that I seem to see more cats (and less dogs) there than anywhere else. So, yep, tracks with what you said - further from centre!

@Bobko

Saw this post and couldn't resist replying. I like cats, can't stand dogs (filthy, irritating creatures) and thought I'd comment on Poles' dog nonsense - such is the level of conformity in this country that you almost feel browbeaten into being a 'dog person' by default just because everyone else seems to be and they can't imagine why you wouldn't be, too.

I really dislike dogs immensely and all the selfish dog owners here p*ss me off so much. The area I live in is covered with sh*t and I have to listen to constant barking - it could definitely do with MANY less dogs and a few more cats.

History / Why didn't Britain declare war on USSR for invading Poland in 1939? [103]

@Crnogorac3

I hate this finger-pointing, resentful nonsense. Poles love to bang on about 'gifting Poland to Stalin' at Yalta but never actually have any suggestions about what Britain was supposed to do better.

So, Britain was supposed to force the Soviets to leave poor little Poland alone, is that right? How, exactly? Do you not think perhaps the USA - bigger, more powerful, less ruined by the wars - had a greater responsibility and ability to help Poland here?

After leaving WW2 completely battered after many years of fighting and holding out alone in Europe, perhaps Britain was supposed to start WW3 with Russia straight away, just to prevent poor Poland from being under Russian influence for a few decades? I am sure the Tommies fighting the war in Europe would have loved that, ditto the people back home.

So, please tell me: what would be the alternative to this 'betrayal'? Sending the exhausted British army off to Moscow? Churchill somehow managing to be more persuasive to Stalin than the USA - richest and most powerful country in the world - could have been?

Polish nationalism really makes people come out with some total b*llocks, doesn't it? Including absolutely shameful slurs about your ally, who joined your war first, to help you when you are invaded. Sorry but WW2 wasn't solely "the poor little Poland story" and we don't all have an overriding imperative to protect you and your interests at all costs, including possibly starting WW3 with the USSR. We joined your war on your side and that is more than enough. Stop with all the crap.

@amiga500

"Fake paper war"? Sod off, there was nothing fake about the war my grandparents fought in. Maybe we didn't / weren't able to act quickly enough for your tastes but then Poles have always been impatient and demanding ;)

I would like never to hear Poles use the phrases "phoney war" or "betrayal at Yalta" ever again. It's not enough that we have to listen to them insulting every aspect of our nation and culture on the internet (see any comments section of any YouTube video or Instagram post) all the time but we also have to listen to them insulting our grandparents' and nation's efforts in the war we joined because they were invaded? A war plenty of others in Europe, btw, were happy to either sit out or join on the enemy's side.

Maybe save your resentment for the Spanish, because as we all know they were a great lot of help to you. Or maybe the Italians and Japanese, because we all know what amazing allies they were.

Still waiting to hear the proposals for what Britain was supposed to do instead of "gifting Poland to Stalin", btw. We were really meant to march eastward straight after WW2 and start another one, just for you?

Nobody cares about your little victim complex and your martyrology either. A country stupid enough, btw, to get its capital city levelled in a laughable doomed insurgency should probably keep its mouth shut in terms of what others "should have done".

The "big state of Israel" arguably only exists because your neighbor decided to annihilate the Jewish race and the Poles and other Eastern Europeans drove the remaining Jews out. Must have been great for them to escape the camps, the few that could, to come home and find that some Pole has stolen it along with all their possessions. If the world has a problem with Israel, you should know that it's because of your region.

Re. Bills: the UK was still paying off its war debt to the USA - a war it joined because you were invaded - in 2006. Billions of dollars. That was for you. A thank you would be nice.

History / Why didn't Britain declare war on USSR for invading Poland in 1939? [103]

@Torq
This is probably the first time I have encountered this level of reason and civility from a Pole when it comes to this topic. Usually it doesn't get far above "YOU BETRAY US, ANGOL!!"

Yes, well pointed out - Churchill DID come up with plans to attack Russia, and as far as I know it was the USA that didn't want any part of it - they were more concerned about the Pacific theatre, maybe. But still, we seem to get the lion's share of the blame for 'betrayal'. We are Poland's favourite punching bag after Russia, Germany and Ukraine. To the extent that this joker just said our war casualties - a war we joined when Poland was invaded - were 'laughable'.

@ironside

"For you" as in "incurred after joining your war". Once again (like WW1), a continental European conflict that we didn't start but were expected to help finish.

Btw when a Pole, of all people, is telling me I'm "playing the victim", that's when I know I've passed to the other side of the looking glass.

Nobody, least of all me, is suggesting what is happening now in Gaza (and Iran) is due to what Germans and Poles did to the Jewish population. But in terms of causality, creating a hostile environment that drove them to create their own 'safehaven state' has certainly played a role in the creation of the state of Israel.

History / Why didn't Britain declare war on USSR for invading Poland in 1939? [103]

@Ironside
"Your war" ended when you were defeated, yes (in the sense of "for you, zer war is over"). But the war that started when you were invaded continued - the war we joined because you were invaded. And again, plenty of others sat it out or joined your enemy, so you know there WERE other options on the table.

Sorry if the reality of Polish antisemitism (part of a general wave in continental Europe pre-war that created the environment for the Holocaust) creating justification for the state of Israel's existence troubles you. When your country was having pogroms even AFTER the Holocaust, it is a little much to start claiming you're blameless. Once again, I didn't say it was inevitable that Israel would turn into what it has, but the creation of the state itself bears Polish as well as German fingerprints. You drove them out of Europe.

MY feelings are hurt? That's a gem. Which item of your national martyrology can I critique now that will cause you and the other proud nationalists to start bawling?
